The flowering is developing well, but my substrate is too draining, I have to water very often

Hopefully the next time I grow this strain, I can get it to stretch more! Fruity but has a really gassy under tone.

Start of WK3 day 17 of flower. As you can see the sour diesel has not stretched past the others. I just bought a new light (SE4500) and been hanging it about 30 inches from the canopy and this has def influenced this stretch. The northern lights is my favorite structure so far, really tight nodes and are going to form some nice colas. The Grandaddy purp I think has the most uniform canopy and feel its gonna fill out nicely. Top dressed on 3-16 with Gaia green power bloom and all purpose along with some worm castings

tent 1: as last week - coming along very strong with weighty buds and a lovely fresh white widow aroma forming - trichomes are getting thicker covering the plants with little crystals. may need some more sticks for support in the final weeks. 4 weeks of growth left and last week on the nirvana nutrient. pistils still mostly white tent 2: as last week also coming along well - trichomes are forming and the colas are looking heavy. nice to see mutli bud heads at the top of the colas on some plants - the mutants as i call them - hopefully showing their big bud genetics - pistals still mostly white. Tent 3: thankfully no hermaphrodites having been stuck in the light as per last week. the plant has returned to flowering nicely though looks alittle weak - a slight mistake that i do not want to make again - pistals and crowns are showing though and coming through with good progress. will lollipop next week. Tent 4: way more advanced than tent 3 with multiple pistils and colas blooming nicely - will need to lollipop next week.

Start of Week 3. Increased light to 75% (750w).

My Sticky Rice plant is one of the smaller ones in the bunch, but don't let its size fool you! It's got these incredibly healthy, vibrant leaves that just scream 'good genetics.' I've got a feeling this little one's gonna surprise me – it might be small now, but I bet it's gonna pack a punch!" This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 5 weeks of flowering completed 2nd April 2020 Hi Everyone , Welcome back to my diary The plant I created is growing nicely nothing much to report other than the smell has changed yet again... Now it resembles yoghurt or slightly sour milk crossed with fruit. Not an unpleasent smell by any means just unusual. I'm not needing to feed a lot as the soil seems to be providing most of her nutritional needs. Now For the Aussie Music Videos Because this plant is geeting closer and closer to harvest time I thought I had better start doing more than one video a week lest I miss out on too many great videos I could add. So this week I have picked three videos from three different Artists all of which are very much loved here in australia. Beginning of week.. So I went ahead and did a late defoliation.. humidity is sitting too high in the tent.. its been around 50 - 55 % RH but it does sometimes get up to 60% RH.. removing some of these leaves should help lower the RH AND lower the chances of getting mold.. these are gonna be some fat colas.. and those are the ones mold can creep up on.. doing my best.. dehumidifier just cant keep up.. but I also dont run it inside the tent due to the heat that thing and it's transformer give off when it runs for over 24 hours or so.. but she shouldn't mold.. I've got 3 fans inside just moving air.. but of course, sometimes that isn't enough.. but we will see how this goes.. may even add another fan.. keep it on the floor of the tent an point it up.. we shall see! But damn she smells so amazing.. i can smell alot of similarities from the Mandarin Cookies in here.. which also has Mandarin Sunset as a mother.. just as this one does.. but you can smell the skunk along with it.. but not as powerful as the citrus.. aw man the citrus.. love that shit.. I even chewed on a trichome covered fan leaf.. very delicious! So glad I have 9 more of this strain and a few others from ETHOS.. next run may be some Aura Genetix.. I've gotta see what fast versions are all about.. I bougt some of the Peach Bellini.. should be pretty epic.. keep an eye out for that diary after this one! Mid week.. Lower branches are getting plenty of light after the defoliation. The smell is getting intense. My carbon filter has began to smell like shit lol. Not literally.. but it stinks.. maybe like rotten skunk or something.. I've ordered a new one but I took that smelly one off for now.. so the whole block smells like member berries right now till the new filter comes in.. tomorrow. I couldn't figure out what the smell was untill i accidentally got my face into the exhaust fan wind.. smelled like rotten skunky shit.. lol. I guess I forgot things need to be changed out every so often.. just figured "air" running thru it wouldn't make it crap out so fast. Been maybe 8 - 12 months.. something like that. Never used one before this.. but running some ETHOS, it is a must! So citrusy! Purples are slowly coming in. She really reminds me of the Mandarin Cookies I grew.. but I also think the Mandarin Cookies was heavier on the Mandarin Sunset phenotype side.. and this one is pretty similar. Scent, growth, stretch.. but I know I cant say for sure that's what it is.. this is just what I believe is going on. But wow.. such a beautiful plant.. I've had to run a a few twist ties to other branches in order to keep them from flopping over, leaning on eachother and the sides of the tent.. should have scrogged I guess lol.. live and learn tho.. but so far its not too bad.. but this early on shows me what I might have to be dealing with in the next couple of weeks cuz they are beginning to get STACKED! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... ETHOS for the win 🏆 Later that day... Wow.. going back in again and now she smells just like the Early Lemon Berry! Wth! How is that even possible?! She is doing amazing things! Some calyxes are beginning to turn purple. Some of the top leaves are as well. Tried to get some decent pics of it.. but I guess I cant figure the new phone out.. as you can see, some pics are a little blurry. And sometims the capture is delayed behind the flash and I still get a dark pic as if it didnt even flash.. but whatever.. I can't wait to see what she has to offer! Such a gorgeous girlie! So happy and excited for this one! End of week.. Nothing left to do now but feed/water for about 1 more week and she will be ready for the 2 week flush!.. I normally like to just water as normal (without nutes, duh) for the entire 2 weeks and still keep checking runoff.. maybe FloraKleen once a week and then just water till harvest! So far, I am starting to see some milky! Still mostly clear, but that means she is getting closer! So excited! This girl really smells just like the Early Lemon Berry I grew! But still with a bit of sweetness to it too! Aw man I can't wait! Anyways... on to the next week!...

Moving these photos into an album for tester #1 by itself. Originally 3 blind testers were grown alongside other photoperiod plants. Lights were flipped to 12/12 on that grow at the 4 week point (10/12/22). Since that time, some other plants gave been culled and 2 of the blind testers turned out to be autos. This plant is still very small with very tight internodal spacing and it has not shown any preflowers. I have decided to restore the 18/6 lighting schedule to the grow room. This plant can continue to veg, to mature and grow larger. I’ll acquire a tent or figure something out to finish her later. For now she is vegging along. I’ve defoliated and manifolded her. I’ll document her journey here in weekly posts going forwards.

Decided to harvest at 10-12% amber. Running out of time and needed to chop her down. Pretty sure I slowed her down from a heavy defol. She was supposed to be done on day 65 based on breeders notes. She took considerably longer for me so the heavy defol is the only thing I can think of. She has sweet gas and grape terp. Very nice heavy dense buds but not as large as I was hoping. Despite the bud size I think it will be some good smoke. I’ll update with dried and cured bud pics. Buds are very dense after dry and cure!

Starterd sixth week, plants are very thirsty, they drink veeeeery much, anyway, this little girls looks very good and with a lot of ramifications, waiting to see how will grow those flowers⌚

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

I took one plant down due to hermie the rest are just going through there final flushes and will be down this week as I need room for my new strains 😜💪🌱 Slowly getting there taken 4 down so far 💪🌱 Will update weights in day or 2

Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. See photo Sunday photos I'm not seeing any change in leaf or bud colorations from flushing out the fertilizers nor from the ice treatment. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%. ###Deutscher Text unten The week started well until I noticed the yellow tips on day 24. I had actually ruled out overfertilization as I hadn't fertilized at all. Apparently, however, the nitrogen is released/absorbed irregularly in pre-fertilized soil. The Floragard Grow Mix is apparently very strong and more suitable for photoperiodic plants. I skipped the planned fertilization with Terra Vega accordingly. However, my girls survived the whole thing well and have now entered the flowering phase. On day 29, I gave them their first fertilization with Terra Flores. I'm currently watering one liter every 2 days. I had problems getting the humidity down. It was actually always over 60% in the grow tent. I had to open the tent and set up a dehumidifier in the room, so I get 40-50 LF, but the room also gets quite warm from the dehumidifier and half the house “smells” of the three ladies. Not ideal, the next grow will go outside in June. I have the feeling that I should defoliate the plants to give the buds more light. But I don't want to stress the plant, especially as it's an automatic. .... So far I've only tried to pinch off the large leaves. Maybe you have some advice for me! ###Deutsch: Die Woche begann gut, bis ich die gelben Spitzen am Tag 24 bemerkte. Eine Überdüngung hatte ich eigentlich ausgeschlossen da ich noch gar nicht gedüngt hatte. Anscheinend wird der Stickstoff in vorgedüngter Erde aber unregelmäßig abgegeben/aufgenommen. Nicht optimal, der nächste Grow geht im Juni nach draußen. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich die Pflanzen entlauben sollte um den Buds mehr Licht zu geben. Ich will aber die Pflanze nicht stressen, vor allem weil es eine Automatic ist....Habe bis jetzt nur versucht die großen Blätte runterzudrücken. Vielleicht habt ihr ja einen Rat für mich!
