🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 12 | Pineapple Upside Down (Veg) Week 12 of veg — the Pineapple Upside Down is cruising steady and looking stronger than ever. I’ve been letting her just do her thing, focusing on recovery and structure before deciding if I’ll top her later. At this stage, it’s all about patience and letting her build up natural vigor. Nutrient-wise, still running the Athena Blended line, holding the mix at EC 1.4. I’ve been experimenting with Athena Balance, and I have to say — it’s impressive. My base water pH usually fluctuates between 6.3 and 6.8, depending on the day. I add 1 ml of Balance, which actually brings it up close to pH 9.3. Once the nutrients are mixed in, the solution drops back down to around pH 7–7.2, and from there I fine-tune it with a touch of pH Down to land right around 6.0–6.1. I allow a gentle drift down to 5.8, but whenever it hits that mark, I bump it back up slightly to keep things steady around 6.1–6.2. Honestly, Athena keeps the reservoir incredibly clean — crystal clear every time. It’s one of those small details that really makes a difference when you’re running hydro long-term. Temperatures are holding around 22–23°C, with humidity between 70 and 75%, which keeps the environment perfect for steady vegetative growth. She’s lush, healthy, and just waiting for her turn in the flower tent — if I had more space, she’d probably be flipping already. That’s about it for this week — nothing flashy, just solid progress and patience. Can’t wait to see how she performs once she hits flower. These girls got lollipopped and a defoliation this week. I think having some more air flow at the pots level they'll get the dryback I'm shooting for. Now they'll also be able to focus all there energy on the top colas. All in all Happy Growing.

These photos are from week 1 flower to my current week 8 of flower. I came into flower with a ton of leafs with being a new first time grower I was very hesitant on stressing the plant out. In week 4 of flower I was playing around with my PH levels and found that the sweet spot was 6.3 it started to eat so much food my PPM were 1240 and it started drinking about 2-3 gals a day. I also noticed and with some help I was bleaching my top nodes a little bit my ppfd was at 1100 in some parts of the canopy so I raised the light up to 20” and dropped my ppfd to 800. In week 4 the smells started coming out and the next day I came down with covid and lost my smell... I was sad. I regained my smell and holy moly it smelled like you opened a fresh box of fruit loops with a hint of lemon I was amazed!!! And couldn’t get over it. Current week 8 the plant is smelling amazing and the buds are stacking and chunking up so nice... well at least I think I don’t really know how it should look since it’s my first grow and at this point I’m so excited to get though this grow and have success.

April 27-29th the biggest plant looked really naked and honestly I was scared it wouldn’t produce anything

Week 3 Veg - Thus far running accordingly. No signs of stress or deficiencies. Introduced a Co2 bag (Exhale 265) to run into early flowering. *End of week recap* (08/27) User error during LST for both - Gave heavy nutes to assist on the rebound - Minor chance of stunting Besides the LST error - Running smoothly - Light flower will begin in 2 weeks.

Well I made a few upgrades since last week. First I went ahead and invested in a nice A/C unit. I also, improved the exhaust setup. I went ahead and took a plant out and germinated another ( I wanted to add a different strain. Lol). The ladies seem to be doing pretty well. They are all on their 4th or 5th node. I am waiting until the 6th node and then do thier first topping. Thanks for all the support! 😃😃😃

Week after week the flowers are developing very good

Day 30: Hello everyone, everything proceeds as expected, but two plants are slightly behind the other six that already show an advanced flowering. On the thirtieth day from germination the plants are 50 to 70 cm tall. As you can see in the last video now that most of the plants are in advanced bloom I have reduced the oscillation of the lamp. Day 33: In a few days some plants have reached one meter in height, for this reason I moved them trying to create a new SOG. I have also increased the space between the plants in order to give more light to the secondary tops. Oscillation of the lamp further reduced. Water now 10 liters per day for all 12 pots (8 gorillas, 2 advanced cheese and 2 baby cheese). The scent is stronger now, especially when the lamp is turned off. Day 33: I was around and bought in store 5 Seeds Royal Gorilla Auto and 5 seeds Royal Amnesia Auto to prepare the next cycles and they gave me 2 seeds LSA Lemon Haze Auto. The last seed of Royal Cheese has not germinated and I decided to put a seed of this LSA Lemon Haze on the ground. I don't know the LSA seed bank and if someone has cultivated this strain I would like information about it. Day 35: All plants have reached or exceeded one meter in height, so I removed all the supports under the pots and moved all the plants. The flowering is now advanced in the first 6 plants, the two remaining Gorillas and the two large Cheese have now started the flowering phase. Lastly, I removed all the underdeveloped branches and some leaves. The last germinate, the LSA Lemon Haze Auto, is added to my cultivation.

Hello Diary. Finished and the fifth week of flowering, a total of the eighth week, Purple Punch looks wonderful. another week or two and there will be a harvest. The flowers themselves are well filled, and are hard to the touch, and the scent is amazing. As you can see in the photos, the shape of the plant is beautiful, as if I was doing some LST, but I just did defoliation from the lower branches. The leaves are a beautiful healthy green color, here and there some leaves have become more yellowish with a slight purple tinge, which are the first signs that the harvest is approaching. Watering is every three days, I stopped adding nutrients, I only regulate p.H of water to values ​​between 6.0 and 6.5. Conditions on the Farm are satisfactory, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is below 40%. Here's what it looked like last week: 17/03/2021 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared a total of 7 liters of water, adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and watered all three plants on the farm evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 20/03/2021 - Day 53. Watering. The procedure is the same as three days ago. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 34% humidity. 23/03/2021 - Day 56. Watering and photography. As for watering, the same procedure as three days ago, after which I photographed Watermelon and her roommates, two Purple Punch. Now I have to water and wait for the right moment. Tangerine Band is growing great. I switched her light times yesterday to flowering times. She got a little defoliation today to help with stretching light. Everything is looking good. Week 7

Hey two weeks ago me.👏monitor👏and👏correct👏your👏PH👏 Over the past week we've gotten our ph back in balance and have had an explosion of growth. Shes so shaggy at the moment but shes definitely enjoying all those lush leaves and the photons they gobble up. I did pick up on some red stems which led me to micro-nutrient deficiency so I picked up some Dutch Science Nutrients Cal-Mag and will be adding that to every plants feeding plan going forward. I'm gonna let this one stay shaggy for a bit the light doesn't seem to have any trouble penetrating and reaching the flowers so let her enjoy the locks while she can. Soon...... snip snip. In adjusting some LST I accidently broke a stem and topped her. I don't think it will make that much a difference at this point. At least I hope not.😎😎😎

Day 71👋🌱 Started flushing. Giving ph controlled water at 6.2/6.5, I check TDS to water owerflowing from pot, bringing it to 50ppm from 400. Now I’ll start checking trichomes every three days, I’d like a 60% white and 40% amber. Day 72👋🌱🌱 Hi all growers, how is going? Second flush, baut maybe the real first one😎, i gave 10 lt of ph controled water (6.5) and was checking ppm from water coming out. i gave water unitl it reach 400 ppm, my water is 200 ppm, i hope i'll bring it to 50 ppm for next flush in 3 days. This lady is so fat, and tasty already i can smell chocolate and pinus, i'm sure they're going to fatten up 😋😉 Day 77🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱 Keep washing it with ph controlled water, water now looks cleanest and buds are really blooming now, leaves are loosing color in favour to buds, i think i've got ther 6.7 days left to this lady cut. Desprende un leve aroma muy dulzón. 15/07/21 Riego a base de nutrientes 1ml Base Jungle Juice Bloom junto con 1,5ml Big Bud más 1,5ml Sensizym 17/07/21 Riego a base de h2o 1,5L 18/07/21 Riego a base de nutrientes con las mismas dosis del último, una cantidad de 0,5l. 19/07/21 Riego a base de nutrientes con las misma dosis al anterior, cantidad de 1,5L.

First day of week 6, I will be adding content as the week progresses, have a look at week 5 as that is now complete. Status: Candy Kush #1 d36 - Looking awesome, some pistils showing. Was too bushy so did some LST and slight defoliation today with supercrop on 1 branch. Candy Kush #2 d36 - Looks like nitrogen deficiency is sorted, now I have excess? :D see the clawing tips? Gonna stick with the current feed, hopefully she'll overcome otherwise I'll flush her once if things get worse. Bubble Kush d32 - Amazing, nothing to report, some tucking done Fastberry d32 - Looking as weird as ever, some tucking done Sugar Mama d36 - growing and getting really bushy, shame about the mess I did with the roots/stem but she is doing ok now. ---- Fed 2nd day of weeks 6 (day 37), 3ml biogrow 2ml calmag. pH was at 6.5 Ec was at 1.5. New leaves are really yellow in candy Kush 2, iron deficiency? Not sure what is happening, will be monitoring. ---- Day 38, Removed the yellow leaves and a little defoliation on all the plants ---- Day 39, Raised the shorter plants so they get some more lights. All of them have finished 35 days (5 weeks from seedling today) and are looking great. Feed the same, although they still look very bright, brighter than I am used to. ---- Day 41, Feeding time, started giving them bloom at 5ml/l and the other normal dosages as in diary. ---- Day 42, End of week 6 The girls are all looking great, there is is so much hair on the buds, haven't seen so much with outdoor grows. Exciting :D Sugar mama is way too bushy and not getting taller. The new blades are too thin, maybe I'm overfeeding her (only biogrow+calmag)? defoliated her, lots of fan leaves removes, she is asking for some training, I've ordered plant tie and will do some LST when delivered.
