Day 29 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Starting a new week with some exciting plans! 🌿 We've got about one more week before we transition the plants to the flowering phase. Just to recap last week's updates for those following along: We’ve named all the plants in both grows. This makes it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants. A SCROG net helps train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We’ve placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch both grows progress and prepare for the flowering phase!" Day 33 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Exciting news for our second grow: we’ve added a new member to the grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our second batch of plants, just like the first, has developed well and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. I think Triple G could have been a really good grow, if conditions were right. The plant looks great but the extreme heat definitely had a negative impact on the final product. It's very airy and light but I still got a lot of bud! I think it'll end up being hash but I'll see how it smokes with a little longer in a jar. My new batch of seeds has arrived from RQS, next up will be either Mimosa, Tropicana cookies purple or NYC Sour Diesel 😎

Week 21: August 16 2020 - August 22 2020 Great week, weather-wise except for some strong winds in the middle of the week. Some branches and leaves took some damage and went a little limp, but they all seem to have bounced back. Still more yellowing, I'm pulling dead leaves off the plants pretty much every day. I know it's natural and it has been a bit cooler at night recently, but I'm still a little bit concerned. Other than that, new growth is coming in strong, has a nice green color, and the little buds look healthy so far. First full week of flower under the belt. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Let's see how it goes. I raised up the water so it is now 150ml 2x per plant so 300 per plant per day. The same with fertilization and the same days remain. I keep 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule for Purple Punch obviously I take out from the tent and put separately. I can't wait to harvest the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so I can use the tent for the Purple Punch. I give 18 hours light on so 12 hours on 4 hours off and 6 hours on 2 hours off. Basically, it was the only solution because I put the Purple Punch in at 23:00 o clock and take out at 9 am. So the light on from 23:00 to 11 am and then 15:00-21:00 and off from 21:00 to 23:00. It was the only good way based on my timeline working hours and school. I also see the first signs of flowering after 7 days of light schedule change of the Purple Punch. Hope it goes well. They have a totally different smell, both strong, but the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is like sweet and aromatic, and also like a muck heap 🤐😅👻The Purple Punch has strong smell but not sweet more like citrus. Saturday: I always had some yellow fan leaves but now it is getting more on the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. Hopefully, it causes the flowering stage because the plant wants to use the energy for buds making and takes out of the leaves, so it is a natural process. I read that it means the plant is on the halfway of the flower. Hope the best. Tuesday: Purple Punch does well flowering, and the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe I think one more week so I will start flushing from tomorrow. I have checked the trichomes, they are cloudy, milky and the pistils started getting brown also so soon it will be done. The fan leaves also getting yellow as it can be seen so I think the next is the final week, if not then no more than 2 weeks and it is done. I can't really wait... End of this week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm and the Purple Punch is 40 cm.

Gorilla cookies is extremely easy to grow, it does good all on its own, minimal trimming or training. I'd definitely recommend it as a first grow.

In this second week of veg I started adding some nutrients to the plant water. (below the recommended doses) 🔥 Since they are growing well next week I will try to apply the manifold , hoping to be able to increase the final yield of this genetics that I love. ✂️🌱

Been hot this week, one of the plants in the corner is growing monster buds with not so much resin and started foxtailing a little never had this. Must be some kind of hear stress. There are some crystals but not as much as the others which are dripping but it has the biggest bud so go figure. Happy growing

Day 120 - Getting closer to harvest day for this lady. She's huge and full of buds towards the top, smaller somewhat fat buds in the middle, and larfy buds at the bottom. I should have lollipopped her 1 or 2 more nodes up, especially for the colas that did not end up stretching as far as the others. Fed the lady water amended per this week's diary. Still seeing white pistils on her main colas so still 2 weeks away or so from harvest. I think this will be her last full nutrient feeding and for her next watering she'll get her last Cal-Mag feeding. I'll probably do 2 more plain water feedings from there and harvest once the soil is dried out after her last plain water feeding. I'm seeing a few of the lower buds of the lowest colas show some spots on the leaves so I just cut those parts off and hung to begin drying. It doesn't appear to be spreading but I'll keep an eye out these next few days. Day 123 - Fed the lady her last Cal-Mag amended feeding. Trichomes are looking more cloudy now on the middle buds. Will give 1 more plain water feeding instead of 2, I want to see how this bud will smoke with minimal flush versus the first lady harvested that was flushed more. Day 127 - Decided to skip completely flushing her to compare versus an over flushed plant. Harvested her today with the soil nice and dry.
