boosted more buds smell like a hot new cookies

Needed a little cal mag. Moved the plants to a tent and I haven’t seen signs of needing to feed but it’s the 5th week so I added mutes at a weaker strength. Also started using molasses week 4 once or twice a week

So week 4 of flower has come to an end. I have finally started feeding full nutes with 50% N this morning. Plants seem to be handling it well. The double cola Malasaña in the back has an amazing bud structure, and such a heavy resin production on her, I really wish I had cloned her. I include 3 pictures of that one. Also, I tied down a bunch of taller colas so I could turn up my light to 100% with an even canopy. Buds have not been swelling much this week ! But with the reintroduction of feeding at a regular level I hope to see lots of progress in the coming weeks . Also I noticed substantially heavier trichome production on the plants nearest the UV light, might just be coincidence though. Well have to see the outcome of future grows during a monocrop .

First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha, Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :) Thanks for reading

Hola a todos!! Esta semana prácticamente no he fertilizado, ya que luego de un breve lavado note que los valores de ppm aun seguían siendo alto..(1700...1800), entonces segui regando solo con agua, con bajas ppm 500 ppm aprox. Recien ayer logre bajar las ppm , no asi el ph, del drenaje, me viene dando 7.2, pero a pesar de todos estos inconvenientes, a la planta se la ve engordando los cogollos.En esta semana se estiro 1.5 cms solamente, pero los cogollos están creciendo de buena manera. El lavado lo hice el día 44 con 7 litros de agua con ph 6 y ppm 500, luego de un buen rato de drenaje medi y en ese entonces parecían haberse corregidos, pero al siguiente riego dia 46( lo hice con 2lts de agua) me volvió a dar valores altos. Para no generar un mal ambiente para la planta, la deja descansar 2 días, y ayer (dia48) volvi a regar y al fin las ppm han bajado a 900, el ph aun sigue dando alto, pero como mencione antes la planta demuestra que cualquier inexperto la puede cultivar, porque se aguanta todo ese stress😅😅 . Aun no sé distingue sus sabores, pero sus hojas ya se están cargando de resina..

V8, supuestamente hoy haría transplante a los maceteros definitivos, pero, hace 3 días que las plantas están presentando hojas débiles y dobladas hacia abajo, en un principio pensé en que podría ser exceso de agua, pero creo que es exceso de nutrientes, básicamente exceso de nitrógeno, ya que las hojas están con un verde muy oscuro y algunas están presentando manchas color café. Así que hoy les hice lavado de raíz, con agua EC 0, hasta que el drenaje fue de cercano a 4 EC. Esperaré unos días a ver si se recuperan, si no, simplemente las eliminaré y empezaré de nuevo, ojalá se recuperen. V9, al final si era exceso de nutrientes/nitrógeno, menos mal que se recuperaron con el lavado de raíces, pensé que morirían, ahora veré como siguen para decidir si hago transplante hoy mismo. V10, se realizó trasplante a macetas definitivas y un riego suave. Las plantas están todavía en recuperación, esperaré unos días más para empezar el LST. V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.

Big week this week.. Had to flip the lights, defoliate the full underside of the scrog that took hours .. Then decided to take some clones mid process ending me with hopefully Some good rooters. Also changing up my feeding schedule to a higher dose of nutes almost 1500 ppm. That should hopefully lay my coco with a healthy Base off minerals needed for the boosting that’s happening

Great start for week 10 did some defoliation,they look so happy and healthy, I had issues with the plants they responded well to LST and defoliation. I make sure to remove some leaves here and there. The most important thing to me me in this stage is to make sure they have perfect airflow.

This is the end of week 1. First time grow. Plant on the right was a little stunted, I think due to the taproot curling before being planted in the soil. Plant on the left seems to be growing steadily every day! (L for Left, R for Right)

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! 1.) I think the Purple Lemonade might have flipped into preflower already like the other Red Poison and Dark Devil 2.) Think the Purple Lemonade has Tobacco Mosaic Disease? No worries for me dur only thing I can see with the streaking/twisted new growth but the Purple Lemonade is doing fine otherwise 😈 More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 Moved the Purple over to it's final 5gal on Jan 26 and started light LST + watering from the bottom of the tray to coax the roots down as opposed to a top pour. Still giving them hourly sprays of basic water foliar and the light water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixed in here and there for piece of mind/extra cleaning from the soil contact during transplant. Looks like bits of purple/red flecks are starting to creep in to the stems so hopefully keeping my window open at night to drop the temperatures will pull some great colours in my tent for the first time 😻👹😈 I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. 03/20/2022 Biscotti Skunk looking lovely first four pictures.next up is lemon OG,followed by the three Grape Skunk girls middle one is my favorite so far (Middle in height) I did a light feeding of fish and seaweed, a little extra something just incase they get hungry in final weeks.
