Despite being absolutely crowded out by the behemoth Pineapple Express next door this earthy pungent beautiful plant isn’t taking any crap. Her colas from top to bottom are rock hard and text book. I can’t wait until we get a chance to actually see what is behind plant number one!

Flowers are continuing to swell, the plant is still drinking steadily even with reduced feedings, and structure is strong enough to support chunky buds without additional stakes yet.

I usually ph down the water to 6.6-6.8 and discovered the soil ph rose to +9. This high alkaline status contributed, if not caused the nutrient lockout. This week, I lowered the intake ph to 6.35. This reduced the runoff ph to 7.0-7.82. On 7/30 I saw spots on Fat Bastard. It appears she has been affected by the high ph in the nutrient solution. When I discovered the spots, I put her in the bathtub and flushed her with 2 gallons. 7/31 more spots so I flushed another gallon. Let’s see if I caught and stopped the problems in time. I have been watering 1500 ml with 100ml run off. This is low and I will Increase water to 1750ml next time. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. 6/14 Week 8 and things are going fairly well on the grow. Some issues with PH that I hope have been worked out by recaling all of them and using two to test PH. Bud building continues Basic nuets only till flush 6/15 Another day in the life... 6/16 Gave a shot of PK she is building so fast she just runs out of Phos and then CA cant do its work 6/17 Continuing PK one more day at least 2ml/gal and 1ml/gal Cal-Mag We have an explanation for the CA issues. This was bag coco not block, it came prewashed and buffered. Apparently the buffering was sub par and has degraded thus drawing CA from the plant and feed. Thus adding 1ml/gal Cal-Mag to compensate Once again DYOPW Do Your Own Prep Work 6/19 She is building buds faster than any plant we have grown to date. Going to split the cal-mag and pk feedings, morning PK evening cal-mag may just be a best practices thing and the time for both is very short Someone asked me a question on PK/cal-Mag and I didnt know they can conflict depending on the formulas involved. So safe is the word She is finishing up to flush stage anyway fewer new hairs so the ambering will increase wont be long now, within a few days.

This girl has definitely stopped stretching, so now almost all of the growth is going to be located at the buds. I plant to increase nutrient concentration, but also light intensity (this one by pulling the LEDs closer to the canopy). This week it will hang at 30 cm from the top of the canopy, maybe next I will push it further to 20 cm next week... By the way, the thunderstorms are over so now I can consistently keep the humidity around 45% with just the 3 cpu fans ;) I am experimenting with trying to clone some branches even after 5 weeks of flowering. It's just for the LoLs, and to learn a little bit. I took a lot of clones from the bottom of this plant before with great success during defoliation, so I decided to up the challenge. I know you shouldn't stress the plant too much during flower, but she seems healthy enough to take it without a problem. // on the nutes of this week// So this week I decided to up the nutes again to 1.0, as the lower leaves are showing deficiencies, and this time the EC of the runoff is low (plus I've been feeding only 0.8EC or 400ppm, which is much less than people generally feed at this stage), so I'm more confident that it's not a nutrient lock out. We will see how she likes it. Remember that my noob friendly approach is that keeping my plant on a diet is better than killing it by overfeeding it.

Pure distilled h20 for her last week ..It got pretty chunky over the last two weeks.

Unfortunately, I had to correct the first week of flowering as the last week of the growth phase because I didn't reset my timer and the lamp therefore ran at 18/6 for another 5 days Some plants are a little lighter, some are a little darker, they all received about the same water I'm assuming it's phenos Otherwise they look really good and grow into the net. Daily feeding, Heavy flushing this week to balance PH and EC. Recalibrated PH and EC Meters.(Found PH meter of by .3 lower than meter showing, and EC was .3 Higher than what meter was reading.) Working the smaller side of the tent to the scrog net and planning to flip to flower in the next 2-4 Days about 2 weeks behind schedule due to Slower growth on the left side of the tent. Flip at end of week.
