So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

I was finally able to sex them all. 1 Male/Hermie, and the rest have beautiful white pistles forming. They are starting to go through a stretch now as well. I also ordered some more grow lights 3 Mars Hydo TS1000's. I can't wait for those to arrive.)

Another good week without any issues. You might notice that my wednesday closeup is showing crystals forming on the leaves. I am trying to stay hands off as much as possible and only checking on them each morning when I take my photos. I have also given them an extra feeding a couple of times to make sure they aren't drying out. I still see in the video the leaves drooping shortly before the lights are coming on, so I think I will add another 1 min cycle in the afternoon. On Saturday I did some defoliation on the lower part of the plant cutting out any leaves that were not getting enough like and ones that had already turned brown. I hope to see how this affected things in next week's video. You may notice that part way through this weeks video, the camera shifted left. I was hoping to capture a single bud growing, but the lense on my camera is not correct for this purpose. I also set the frame rate to once every min from every 5 and all that did is make the clip longer, so I have switched it back to every 5. Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.

I think there’s been some sort of salt build up / nutrient lock. The lower leaves have been turning a lighter green and some even yellow on SL plants. Most stems are red. Seems like it’s a pH problem. I flushed them with 4-5 litres of water to reduce the nutrient concentration in the roots. Going to introduce molasses in next feeding! Organic Unsulphered And also stop the Micro (nitrogen)

Cream Cookies was such a fun plant to grow. It germinated extremely fast, popping out of the peat pellet at ~3 days. It takes about two weeks from germination for the plant to really get its root system to the point that it can support explosive vegetative growth. Once you're at the explosive vegetative growth stage (Week 2-5) the plant absolutely shoots up and stretches to the moon. LST works wonders to expose lower bud sites and break symmetry of the plant. FIM can be used to stop main stalk vertical growth and transition the plant to build up its already present flowering nodes. At Week 5 preflowers become apparent. The plant then experiences a second stretch and subsequent explosive bud growth. From that point the plant doesn't grow vertically but instead horizontally. Curating its fan leaves and growing to be just an absolute beast. If your phenotype sticks around in veg for just a week longer, you'll see the plant just become a behemoth. Im still working on my technique but my goal for this grow was to triple my per plant yield compared to nay last grow and I did that! I had 1 plant going and the dry bud weight is 45gs. Im extremely happy because the buds are just beautiful. Im learning so much! Im hoping my third grow I can double my yield from this grow! My phone broke so ill update with photos of the buds when I can.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Things are moving right along! We're definitely into flower now. All three plants are flowering strong and the Amnesia is starting to spread out. The other two are going to be very dense plants. I think perhaps I should have started LST a bit sooner on the Quarter Pounder. It's so dense I can't really separate it. They are taking a lot of water. I feel like I could be doing 1.5 gallons each and it barely goes to run off. Is that a good thing? * Watering a bit over 1 gallon each every 2 days * Top fed 1.5 tbs each 3 gal pot with Dr Earth Life. This is under the recommended amount but last time I got nute burn. * Top dressed with additional FFOF

The snow is really coming down out there. Big fat flakes are piling up on the ground, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I guess that means no outdoor plans for today. Might be the perfect day to get cozy inside with a warm drink and a good book The pound cake auto plant is growing like crazy! I'm so happy to see all the progress we've made. Yesterday, I finally got around to tying it down – it's amazing how much more stable it feels now. I can't wait to see what this plant looks like in a few more weeks.
