🌸 BlueBerry – Week 4 Flower Update Grower’s Journal | Zamnesia BlueBerry ⸻ 🌱 The Girls Today Our two BlueBerry ladies are 120 cm tall, strong, elegant, and stretching beautifully into the light. Both are showing spectacular frost coverage already at Week 4. 💎 What frost means this early: • Frost at this stage is a sign of healthy resin production beginning early. • It points to strong genetics (thank you, Zamnesia) and a well-balanced environment. • More frost now often means denser trichome carpets later, and with BlueBerry, that classic sticky sparkle is already writing its story. ⸻ 💡 Inner Canopy Light – ICL 300 This week, let’s talk about a special piece of gear: the ICL 300 inner canopy light. • Inner Canopy vs. Under Canopy: • Under canopy lights push light upwards from below, filling shadows. • Inner canopy lights like the ICL 300 spread 300° of light inside the plant structure, wrapping the middle and hidden nodes in usable spectrum. • The result: more even growth, healthier lower bud sites, and improved overall stacking. 💡 Specs of the ICL 300: • Designed for high penetration into dense canopies. • Emits a balanced spectrum that complements the top LEDs. • Reduces “shadow zones” and helps those mid-layer buds become full players, not just secondary fluff. This week, the ICL 300 is clearly doing its work: the whole canopy feels alive, not just the tops. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation – Light Touch I performed a light defoliation: • Removed some fan leaves blocking major bud sites. • Opened the canopy so light (especially from the ICL 300) could penetrate deeper. Minimal stress, just enough to help airflow and light distribution. At this stage, it’s about balance, not stripping, just guiding. ⸻ 🔄 Quick Recap of the Journey So Far From Cannakan germination in pure water → to early soil boosters with Aptus → to steady veg under Future of Grow, ThinkGrow, and Lumatek Zeus LEDs → to smart environment control with TrolMaster + sensors → now flowering strong, stacked, and sparkling. The girls have walked a legendary path already, just like their name. BlueBerry is not just any strain, it’s a classic, a true legend in the world of medicine. And this run is honoring that legacy with beauty and frost. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead – Week 5+ What to expect: • Heavier bulking as flowers begin to swell. • More trichome coverage, turning frost into snow. • Stronger terpene release (that nostalgic BlueBerry perfume beginning to show). What not to expect: • No more big vertical growth. Stretch is nearly done, from here, it’s all about flower development. ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts Week 4 is a milestone. The girls stand tall at 120 cm, frosty, thriving, and glowing from top canopy to inner canopy thanks to the ICL 300. Every detail — from careful defoliation to balanced feeding, from genetics to gear, is creating a perfect environment for these legendary BlueBerries to shine. This is only the beginning of their flower story, and they already look breathtaking. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Everything after germination has been pretty smooth. The plants in veg had a couple small brown spots due to under watering but no extreme signs or any abnormalities.

4x4 Gorilla, HLG 550 V2 60% @ 32" 2 Jack Herer from seed, germinated 1-12-2018. Promix-HP Day 34. Flipping light cycle to 12/12. Had a little nutrient burn on both ladies and did a full flush with water @ PH 5.6. and two days later are looking much better. The GDP is still residing in the tent, just moved out of the way for photos. Next (light) feeding is scheduled for tomorrow evening.

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

30.04.2025 Day 58 Not much to report. Chemdawg still stretching. The other are fatten up and producing nice trichomes becoming visible to naked eye. Smell are strong. I can tell which one is tropicana cookies now base on the heavy citrus smell. So by process of elimination the other one has to be banana purple punch. I'm going to add final part solution today by mixing it with 5 liter of water and adding to reservoirs. All except Chemdawg.

Day 83 Currently drying, will update before Robert Smith turns up.... Day 87 5 days in, all trimmed and back in to dry. Temp 18c RH 50% Will raise humidity to 62% for last 5 days and add fan. Day 92 Girls pruned to similar size buds and in jars to cure. Will wait a few days until the residual moisture dissipates then weigh for the final time. Lemony tones coming off her already. Pleased as was getting worried during drying. Think I'll try a dry trim on the two Lemon Kix I have in atm (see my other diary) Sampled some this afternoom and eveb before a cure its smooth enough to smoke, citrusy in profile and burns a nice clean white ash. Looking forward to seeing the flavour/texture evolve over next few weeks before smoke report. I'm not the most patient person, this part is extremely difficult. Day 97 Final weight dried and a week cured is 87.8g (3.1oz) Extremely pleased with the yield. Smoke report I've got to be honest, it's not the stinky monster I was expecting but its made up for it in other areas. Really smooth on the inhale, lemony forest taste, no horrible aftertaste. No coughing, which is a novelty! For my first run, I'm v happy. I feel the excessive heat may have microwaved some of the terps but we live and we learn. Not long until my Auto Lemon Kix are ready, hopefully got the temp under control in time for them.....

9.2.25: Purple Punch P1 and P2 are near the end. Trichomes are looking good. Starting to turn cloudy. I think another week or 2. P3 is a different story. She is pitifully small still. The buds are also not developing as fast as the other 2. Will keep checking the progress every few days (if I can get in the tent)! 9.2.25: The plants had a good watering, they're all still drinking a lot. Which is great, as that means growth, which, at this stage, we desperately need! I went ahead and gave all the plants a thorough watering each with: 2ltrs of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.5 with:- ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid I don't know how this scrog net is going to work out. I think the squares are too big. It's elasticated, which I like. However, I'm extremely cautious with watering and moving the net. It's only a matter of time before I break more branches. It's such a hassle with it in there, honestly. I can't get in the tent properly to even check the weight of pots, as it's all weaved through, and again, I will snap branches. I did have a free net with the tent, which I think was smaller squares. I think I will use some other training next run. It's really not my kind of setup. I'm too interested in moving things and inspecting the plants constantly. The net is driving me up the wall. 😣 I'm considering removing it and trying something else, but it's also a bit too late for oldest plants. 9.2.25: Gave the plants another good soak. I used 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. It contained the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid ♡ 0.5g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are undergoing explosive growth at this stage, which I'm thrilled by! Purple Lemonade is turning purplish hues. Pink Mist has so many bud sites and is looking very healthy. Do-sì-dos is growing vigorously and looking promising, especially considering all my unfortunate mishaps! 😅 Watermelon also has considerable growth. However, my training has made a mess out of the structure. Which I consider another valuable take away. Bubble

Auto cous kush is just coming onto it's own, making plant matter and working overtime in that slightly cold medium. I added aloe as a rooting agent, tried to ph it down to 6.5 using lemon juice (not doing that again lol?) and ended up catching the start of pH shenanigans so i started applying an amino acid spray onto the soil (not the plant!) . using my kelp extract concentrate at 1ml a L in my 250ml spray which means a 1/4ml , that gets sprayed once onto the plant. gonna top off the pots next watering. in soil ppm went from 360 to 420 , vpd went from 0.8 to 1.1.

Starting into new week dli around 16 I bought a new humidifier let’s see how he works (mars hydro 5L) The blackberry is struggling as you can see but I have a backup plan in case she’s not getting better the next days .she seems to have 4 starter leafs hiding under those newer leafs The strawberry gorilla is ok and I hope he can make some use of the better humidity now .

previous watering was fed with nutrients this is one with the highest EC of the three that are in the tent, and my temperature is not low so it should go with minimum to medium quotas with more water avoiding burns without much runoff taking place mixing with the soil compounds and mycorrhizae for better performance i know i need calcium magnesium for better performance the problem is money i will continue to use salt Epson the option i have at the moment the direct sulfur in the soil mix has helped me hear a change visible. water ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of great white mycorrhiza 2 days earlier were sprayed with water without ppm via leaves - lights off to serve as a cooling shower in the heat is great for stomata . Simple led panel added as main light source 260watts being divided to 3 plants in the fullspectro tent model, did not get much difference in temperatures compared to HPS, is more the same spectro ratio and UV to reach more directly in the trichomes and terpenes. this amnesia is not as fast as your sister but from the stress she had back in the beginning, I admire her strength with thinner sativa leaves her trichomes are coming close to the smaller leaves. LST has reduced its size by half as its sister is 40 cm while her tree-shaped sister is 88 cm.
