12.08. White Runtz Day 72# The plant is progressing well, the day before yesterday it was the end of its 10th week. She started to slowly enter the preflower, this morning she got clean water, the next watering will be food for the flower. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...

Such pretty and easy plant to grow, just top dressed with handful of worm castings and less than half handful of bat guano few days ago and she just is exploding with white pistols all over and trichomes also, she smells like sweet lavender with skunk. Very pleased with Zambeza Critical++, anyone could grow her! I cropped one of my Critical the other was LST I can see bigger buds on the cropped one, but it is not obvious so far which one is producing more weights. Just changed Hps 400w to Voost 240w, plants responded well, some older fan leaves were started to cook and burn under hps, way too hot mid day, I can tell some leaves needed a break... Let's see if LEDS helps with heat/light stress... They are at 60cm from canopy, I will bring them down little by little during the next few days... 13/12/2023 Everything is going very well, I continue to provide nutrients (probably for the last time for numbers 1, 2, and 3) and trim all the yellowing leaves. I will assess what to do with number 4 at the time of harvesting the first 3. If it enters a good flowering stage, I will dry the other 3 in a cardboard box in the same room as my box while number 4 finishes (this bothers me a bit because I would like to give them 48 hours of complete darkness before harvesting). They seem so big (to me) and beautiful, I couldn't resist taking more pictures. Thank you for taking a look at my journal. Las flores no son para nada llamativas, una variedad más cruzada con rudelaris, que para mi gusto es perder el tiempo y el dinero invertido en cultivar cosas así… no merece la pena en interior, el ratio de gramo watio se me quedó en 0.5 , de los no peores resultados que tuve en los últimos 5 años. a sido una genética con la que no disfruté nada cultivarla, es complicada, es bastante sensible. 12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.
