This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The broken mainled blue has fully recovered from last week's damage, and is quickly catching up the my other mainled experiment. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, but is still the weakest of the 3. The strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.

Not much to mention, everything in cruise control. The Mephisto NCH is just a side note at this point. After a month I can say it will be a micro plant. So from here the Height numbers in the Info section will be referring to the DeadHead OG clones. They are just doing their thing. Just light waterings on tuesday and Friday, plain water ph7.0 I am going to put them into a 24 dark Cycle starting tomorrow after lights out. And then they will go into the flower closet to be flipped. Monday 3/7 I started soaking a Mephisto Pink Panama Auto. I will include this auto into this diary as it will probably still be in the same time frame as the Photo plants. And it will be reared the same as all the other plants. Again it was soaked in the same H2O2 solution and successful at cracking in 12 hours. Paper toweled for another 12 hrs and then into root cube. Seedling emerged and has first set of leaves after 1 week from soak. It already has a nice thick stem so we will see. Not much else to report. The beauty of living soil. Well the flower week is finally upon us they are getting a huge block opening up the canopy exposing Bud sites letting the wind blow through those beautiful structures. I will have more updates as the week goes on stay tuned. I took ALOT off , I know , I know , lots of people will say , what the heck is this grower doing ?!? Well all I can say is .......... WAIT . This ain't my first rodeo. Pictures will follow , Why did I get rid of all the leaves ? 1) increase airflow 2) increase light to bud sites 3) to prevent mold . So many times I have done this and everytime, I ask myself , was it too much ??? A week later the plant will have pretty much , somehow, grown all the leaves back !!! È venuto un bel casino, perché tra la prima e la seconda settimana di fioritura sono stato via 5 giorni, e al ritorno mi sono trovato 3 piante che avevano preso il sopravvento sulle altre e allora ho potuto solo piegare perché già non ci stavano più. Le piante hanno 25 giorni di vegetativa e 36 di fioritura

Week 8 Update – Height Issues and Frosty Buds 🌿❄️ No major complaints this week—everything is under control, except for the height of AN#3… but Supercropping to the rescue! 😅 BioBizz#1 – BT30 She’s now using less water, managing 3L every 3 days. Bud development is steady, but compared to AN#4, she’s noticeably less frosty. AN#4 – BT30 This is officially my best and strongest plant so far—super frosty, even on the large fan leaves! 😍 She’s also down to 3.5L every 3 days and thriving. AN#3 – BT26 Not performing as well as the others, mainly due to the light distance. At times, there’s only 4cm clearance from the lamp! She’s definitely not loving it, but I’ve managed to keep things under control with Supercropping. I have to admit, the stretch on this strain caught me off guard, and I’m not entirely happy about it. 😅

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

This Auto Sour Diesel seed from Homegrown Cannabis Co. are fast growing and very strong resistance even if the plants suffered from heavy nutrient burns , still produced good amount of buds. Se agregó la malla scrog se paso a floración, no pude obtener la malla con más tiempo asique ya no tenia mas tiempo para rellenar. Pero con el lst se busco el mismo objetivo y pasamos a 12/12 primera semana de floracion

This was a very stressful week as there were too many variables at play all at once; even my camera refused to cooperate for the first few days. The freshly transferred plants were starting to droop and I was unsure if it was transplant shock, nutrient burn, or because of the incomplete grow tent. My first batch of nutrients were mixed into a gallon bottle and was weighed by a friend using his scale; this set was enough to last weeks. For this new batch however, I didn't have my scale and used the table spoon as my measuring tool; needless to say when my TDS meter finally arrived, both runoff and the remainder of the mixed nutrients read 2800. Fortunately my light setup seemed to be inefficient still and the plants weren't drawing much nutrients and only ended up with a very light burn on the older growth. All pots were flushed back to recommend levels and the light lowered until the lux values read appropriate. This week ends my daily comments and I'll stick to this end of the week format going forward.
