Raspberry Ripple Number One and Two (Flowering Plants) This week is the final week of Flower, I am noticing milky coverage on both plants and some amber trichomes as well. I gave the last watering today of distilled, dechlorinated water, with no P.H. Adjustments at 7.2 PH. I plan to harvest April 11th. Number One Pheno- The Number One Pheno is fully swollen and ripe now. The colas are densely stacked on the canopy. The foliage is quite over-faded, with some leaves being so dried out they crumble to the touch. I don't know if this is because the plant was in a bit too small of a pot or if my light was a little much these final weeks of flower. It is definitely ready for harvest! It's smells are still heavy in the raspberry candy department, with those hints of earthy leather on the back swing. Giving the number one pheno a very unique musk. The resin is greasy and plentiful! I can't wait to take this one down and trim it up to see how it looks in a jar! Number Two Pheno- The Number Two Pheno held out a little longer in its 5 gallon pot, it's a bit smaller of a plant. It's about 65% faded now but it's trichomes look finished! It's trichomes are very stacked out and coat this plant in a snow film! It may look a little boring next to its sister color wise, but it still sports some purple and pink hues under all the frost and I still think it'll be a worthy smoke as well! It smells of a raspberry wine but with that hazy fruity power. Almost like a strong mimosa strain. Clones- The larger clones in the 55 inch 2x2 MarsHydro veg tent, were starting to drink through water quickly! Mostly the larger number one phenos. Which would consume the entire dryback of their full pots in one day. I transplanted all the plants in the 55 inch tent into square pots (2 gallons for the Number 2 Phenos, 3 gallons for the Number 1 Phenos) this should hold them over for 3 to 4 weeks, so I can harvest and dry my flowering plants. I was unable to transplant the clones in the smaller Mars Hydro 30 inch Clone Tent, due to space constraints. I'll be feeding them worm castings and Down to Earth Crab Meal tomorrow. All the clones are looking healthy and look like they would be great candidates for flowering or mother plants. Tech Upgrade- This week I was able to purchase a Photobio Phantom Par Meter at a local grow shop's going out of business sale. With this tool I'll be able to get a dead on map of my light intensity and adjust accordingly. This will be great to have when setting up my new HLG Blackbird next cycle. I also got some 15 gallon grass roots fabric pots to try in the flower room next cycle. I also reached out to AC infinity and have an upgraded Cloudray S6 Gen 2 Oscillating Clip Fan on the way. My Gen 1 fan broke and would no longer oscillate correctly. AC infinity replaced it free of charge with the latest model. I think that about sums up this week! I'm very excited to take these plants down and begin preparing for next cycle. I was extremely lucky to get such amazing results of my first Pheno hunt. I can't thank Mosca Seeds and Tiki Madman enough for selecting such great crosses. It's hard to believe I got these two seeds as a freebie pack, with another order. i should had defoliated plant 2 (one on left) a lot more in earlier stages, a lot of the canopy is leaf that is blocking airflow and light there is a video there which you need to flick through the pictures to see it

The last two weeks! I know I should wait one or two more weeks for harvesting, but unfortunately I will travel in 3 weeks and I have no option other than finishing everything up before I go. This week events: -Feeding on Day 73 , following the Flora Series Drain to Waste Chart (Ph 5.8) -Started to lower the temperature to ~17 C during the night

Added nutrients to top off reservoirs everything looks good …I am content so far with testing will be dropping light schedule to 11 on 13 off to accelerate bud development hopefully shortening flowering time

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Just water and some LAB , FAA this week. The FAA is Fish Amino Acid or fuel as I prefer.

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

10/17/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 0.3L - VPD @ 0.9 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 50% ~580 - 620 PPFD - Removed 5 leaves --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As promised last week, i made a video and explained the progress so far, and did show you the plant. Not much to report. I continued LST, though I’ve stopped for a few days now since the branches are well spread out, and that should be enough for the time being. The AvT was in Preflower since last week and switched to flower on day 28. Really good plant. No problems at all.

📆 Week 15, 30 April - 6 May 2024 30 April - Turned light power to 75%. 1 May - Did a significant defoliation. 2-6 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I was debating on keeping the lights at 100%, or defoliating the plant. Defoliating won this time. There just wasnt enough light penetration getting to the lower buds (half the plant) to mature them for maximum growth and quality yield. So leaving the lights that bright did not achieve my expectations. It is a tricky situation when you start taking leaves away from a plant in flower, but when shadows are blocking bud developement you have to balance your grow and open it up. My method is to start with the lowest leaves and work your way up, use common sense, discard yellowing and damaged ones first, leaving the healthy green leaf on the plant. Then strategically remove the few that shadow the buds you want more focus on. This will help ensure the plant continues processing energy while avoiding possible shock by removing too much leaf. 🍶 30 April changed nutrient solution 🍽️ 30 April updated feeding schedule 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC 2.2 at 72 degree F 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 45-50 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Ya empecé esta semana regando con un litro un día si y un día no y alternando también los fertilizantes un riego con ellos y otro sin. Al poner le el led a la carpa pequeña para el final de la floración ha subido mucho la temperatura pero espero que aguanten.. creo que esta será la última semana que eche fertilizantes como lo veis?

Another week and week have a bushy little plants that wants to explode. So this week i started with some knf, ferments, and top dressed to again feed the soil not the plant. LAB- full fat milk and rice starch left to ferment. 1ml of the whey( separate from the forming cheese which is not used) to a litre of water Fpj- dandelion and stinging nettle with molasses left to ferment. The smell on this Weirdly fermilier. I can’t describe it. 2ml/1l I set up the scroog net today 20cm above soil and set the light 30cm above that. Fungus gnats are a problem. They’re really staring to piss me off. I’ve set sticky traps but they really seem to like the soil. That sums up this week until next week let’s get it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
