End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Well pretty big reveal this week. You get to see all the shit & roots.....and corn. Watering the girl proved to be hard to figure out. I've been watering her everyday because of the root reveal. And all that water goes down the pot. So I was worried I would over water. Well by now you know. I under watered. But I got it all figured out. I'm not ready to reveal the custom saucer I made yet. I'm still trying to grow these over the bowl roots but they were not ready for any of the reveal so now the exposed ones are tiny and the under the soil ones are much bigger. It is what it is. I will remove the soil on the side roots in the next couple of days so I can position them where I want them then repack with soil again.

Well the plant in flower is DANK AF!!!! Then theres 1 lagging behind it and then the shorty and tall boi are both just now starting to flower. I feed then the same feed as last week, I might kick up bloom a bit later this week, but I think the plants are happy and really besides the lag and yellow leaves they are some gorgeous looking plants!!!! great node formation! lots of tricomes and lots of flower!!!!! Defoliated - did some funky training on the "mutant" as it is super noodly! Sour D's looking super nice... one of these - on the stem rub... i swear, its super close too the classic "sour diesel"... My goal of this grow for the Sour Ds is mainly too try find one as close to the original Karma SD so super happy! (Seaweed drench once a week)

So this week she grew 32cm..... That is over 12 inches!!! Incredible!! Every so often I will cut a few leaves off to allow light to penetrate the lower flower sites.

Here’s my try at lemon pie from Fastbuds, of the 3 beans I got 1 displayed traits of ruderalis is her fan leaves and stretched to 4 ft tall. The bud structure is a little fluffy but smells great and is a good stone. I would cultivate it again and I would recommend a scrog and not to put them too close together.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Really happy and healthy. Everything was flying along. Then, sadly. All my plants were hit with 2 low Ezyme & Terpinator 4.5ph feeds that screwed up a lot of my girls. These had a rough time of it but she pulls through. For the most part it's over here. Sprayed entire crop with Vita Race. It'll help with any ill affects from the growth aspect as some grows progress. I could of hard flushed. But, that would of solved the issue, only to start a whole new one that would have suppressed growth. Have been on the slow fix approach with adjusted ph of anything given into the 6.4-6.7 range. Foliar spray as given as they are. I only applied Vita Race twice as the problem has only been an issue the plant 10 days or so. From now on, everything will be PH'ed growing in co2, there really is no room for mistakes. Imbalances or any crucial nutrient like mag if that's thrown off, the whole plant(s) seedlings have suffered. There is rapid growth. I've had flips after 4 days into veg. But, things need to be FLAWLESS. Pult Alga Grow as Recommended by the maker. Will be kept on stuff listed above. Its week 5 and you know what? We have some smell to enjoy! This week, the stretch finally finished completely. The plants stoped growing and are focussing their power and nutrients into bud producion from now on. Thats a very important moment in flower. My Hy-Pro nutrition plan tells me, to start giving Hy-Pro Epic Bloom in this critical development phase. This will give the ladies exactly what they need, to grow some big, tasty flower. I had to do another major under canopy cut on the Jack Herer. Took out another 15cm of buds over the net, since they would just suck up energy and never come close to the grade of quality I am looking for. I just was not ready for the growth, Hy-Pro made possible in my tent. Never experienced such explosive growth, just watched it happen for other guys on YouTube and social media. For my next grow, i will definitely have to beef up my tent. I can tell there is really some smell coming out of the tent by now. Its always a joy, to open it. Development is making me very happy. They grew strong, thick stems in vegi, those branches will be able to hold alot of weight in buds. From now on, i feed them the following: Hy-Pro Terra: 4,5ml/l (component nutrients) Hy-Pro Generator: 0.16ml/l Hy-Pro Cal-mag: 4ml/l Hy-Pro Epic Bloom: 0,5ml/l EC: 1,8 VPD: 1,40 PPFD: 930 µmol/m²/s I would really love, to see some colouration on the Mimosa and the Blueberry. 🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive.
