Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

The runtz are about 45cm start of this week and the tall LCC is 75cm. She is also further into flower, but did not spread out so much in the tent. RAK seems to be very good with high PPFD, for the LCC they need a bit less I can feel.

Wird runtergebunden, steht paar Stunden später wieder senkrecht da, als wäre nichts gewesen. 😅 Die Kraft und Dynamik von der Genetik ist echt brutal. Riesige Internodienabstände, aggressiver Stretch und einfach permanenter Vorwärtsdrang. Aktuell weiterhin die größte Pflanze im Zelt und definitiv das Beast des Runs. 🍓 Fruit Bomb Punch Die Fruit Bomb Punch holt mittlerweile aber ordentlich auf. Nach ihrem etwas holprigen Start und dem Stress durch Toppen und die frische Erde wirkt sie inzwischen deutlich akklimatisierter und schiebt jetzt richtig nach vorne. Die Struktur bleibt etwas luftiger als bei der Strawberry AK, aber dafür merkt man langsam dieses typische XXL-Sativa-Momentum, das die Sorte laut Breeder haben soll. 🌲 Strawberry AK Nach wie vor die Bilderbuchpflanze im Zelt. Untrainiert, extrem sauber aufgebaut und einfach grundsolide in jeder Hinsicht. Sehr kompakt, schön buschig und dabei trotzdem kräftig genug, um problemlos mitzuhalten. Ein richtiges Flächenmonster mit unglaublich ordentlicher Struktur. Bis jetzt vermutlich die unkomplizierteste Pflanze im gesamten Run. ✨ Insgesamt Der Stretch ist jetzt voll im Gang und das Zelt lebt richtig. Alle drei entwickeln mittlerweile klar erkennbare Eigenheiten und genau das macht den Vergleich aktuell extrem spannend. Noch sieht alles kontrollierbar aus — aber die nächsten 1–2 Wochen werden wahrscheinlich entscheiden, wer hier endgültig das Kommando übernimmt. 😄 Am Ende entscheidet das Glas. ? Grow on 🌱 Day 56 | Flower Day 12 The stretch is now running at full speed — and the differences between the three genetics become more obvious every single day. That’s exactly why I love doing comparison runs like this. 👀 🌡️ Environment & Setup The drip irrigation keeps everything stable and the girls clearly appreciate the consistent moisture with strong daily growth and steady vertical push. The 90×60 tent is filling up nicely now, but every lady still more or less keeps her own 30×60 lane — exactly how the setup was planned. 🌿 Chicken & Waffles Absolute beast. You bend her down and a few hours later she’s standing back upright like nothing ever happened. 😅 The strength and vigor of this genetic is honestly insane. Huge internodal spacing, aggressive stretch and nonstop forward momentum. Still the biggest plant in the tent right now and definitely the powerhouse of this run. 🍓 Fruit Bomb Punch Fruit Bomb Punch is catching up fast now though. After the rougher start with topping stress and the hotter fresh soil, she finally seems fully acclimated and is starting to explode with growth. Her structure stays a bit airier compared to Strawberry AK, but you can definitely start seeing that XXL sativa-style energy the breeder talks about. 🌲 Strawberry AK Still the picture-perfect plant of the tent. Untouched, extremely clean structure and just rock solid overall. Very compact, nicely bushy and still vigorous enough to keep up without any real training. A true space-filler with an incredibly tidy shape. Probably the easiest and most stable plant of the entire run so far. ✨ Overall The stretch is fully underway now and the tent feels alive. All three plants are developing their own very clear personalities and that’s what makes this comparison so interesting right now. Everything is still manageable — but the next 1–2 weeks will probably decide who truly takes over the tent. 😄 In the end, the jar decides. ? Grow on 🌱

Looks like this might be the last week for this girl. Was hoping to see more change in tricomes but not sure if worth the wait. Give it a few more days and see what the loop says.

Crazy thunderstorm this week, just dumped 15mm in under 10min (over 40mm in under 24hrs), flooded everything in town, luckily no issues at home! I didn't witness how she handled it as I was out fishing (not the smartest idea, but hey lots of salmon) , but she still looks great, no issues at all. That's a big benefit of growing in a mound like this, no chance of drowned roots, but it is hard to keep the overall outside of the mound moist. Still moving bud clips up every few weeks to even out the cannopy, light defoliating of the bottom and inside, monster maxx and silica, compost tea Brewing as we speak (every 3 weeks). Pistils are everywhere, but I wouldnt say flowering yet. 10g airpot is maybe finally done stretch and should officially flower soon, will probably trelis net shortly. Added some scat matt to the underside of the plant to stop the Robin's from peckin away at all the tasty millipedes from the compost top dress layer, I can see how aggregated they got but it worked haha. Overall incredibly smooth grow so far, no issues at all, looks incredible. Still plucking out any growth tips buried in the cannopy, had to cut out a couple more branches that lagged behind but you really can't even tell, so I wasn't worried. Those bud clips have really tripped the number of leading nodes, in the cannopy, so easy and simply highly recommended.

Third week is starting well, as you can see in the video and on pictures, the stems are strong and the seedlings didn’t go looney for the light like magic beans after being under the "wind" ... (the tip is free bro hit the like button and you won’t get Jack magic beans anymore 😄👍) Still lifting the pots, they are becoming light, I will certainly water them this week. Beginning is so awesome, there’s nothing to do except keeping the light at the right distance and lifting the pots 😄 [Day 18] Readjusting the pots under the light to make sure the plants don’t start to cover each other. [Day 19] Topping the plants at the 3rd node. Water 💦 (P.S: I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower , Mineralogist , Quality Control 🐞)

Starting the week with a feed. Not much to comment on. Fed at the end of the week. Just TPS and Bloom.

This week we kept everything pretty steady in terms of EC and PH levels. We focused a bit more on training as the week went along and the plants are reacting well. The biggest challenge is keeping the environment steady, but the humidifiers seem to be doing their thing.

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. Buenos humos! ya pasaron a la segunda semana de floración, sigo aun con el foco de haluro metálico, se ven bastante bien en realidad para no estar con un foco adecuado para su ciclo actual. (el foco de sodio viene en camino) Los nutrientes los he ido dosificando según el desarrollo de las plantas, esta semana use la siguiente dosificación por riego: Riego 1: Acti Vera (1ml) - Alg A Mic (1ml) - Bio Grow (1ml) Riego 2: Root Force (1ml) - Big One (2ml) Riego 3: Rhino Skin (2ml) - Bio Bloom (2ml) Agua usada: Agua de llave + Agua purificada, mezcla de agua reposada 2 a 3 días según requerimientos nutricionales de las plantas. Ventilación: 2 ventiladores (1 giratorio) + 1 extractor de aire + 3 ventanillas rectangulares pequeñas de ventilación pasiva propias de la carpa indoor. Posiciones de las plantas: Royal Gorilla: Inferior izquierdo. OG Kush: Inferior derecho. Critical Orange Pounch: Superior izquierdo. Purple Afghan Kush: Superior derecho.

This week I decided it was time to employ some LST. Really I should have just done LST and not topped them, aside from the largest one which responded well. They weren't putting out fast enough growth to take to topping well, and I've learned my lesson. That's why my autos haven't done so well in the past. I'm still learning😬 So in order to get as much as I can out of them as we enter flowering, we're doing a little LST this week. Earlier in the week I did have to bring them in the hoop house on 7/11 because we got a lot of rain that day, our basement flooded and the water got so high in the stream that it washed the bridge out. So I think I made the right decision otherwise they may have gotten lockout. I also changed their feed a bit. I added in some Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertilzer 2-4-1 with the Alaska 5-1-1 in equal portions on the 13th and will continue with it tonight. I may add a little molasses as well. Most of what I was trying to accomplish with each plant is explained in the video. Enjoy!
