Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Compared to powerplant, LSD is very slow to get going. By the end of week 2 of flower i expect more established bud-sites, however i have been told that LSD will get busier towards the later stage of flowering. We shall see. But in terms of plant health, there are no deficiencies (not that you get any with NFT), very uniform nodal spacing - no stretch, very large stems at the bottom and the root mass is exactly what i expect. The temperature has now dropped to 14c at ''night time'' so ive had to introduce a small heater to keep the temps up whilst theyre asleep.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. Flowering has finally arrived, the structure is fantastic, each branch has its own space, and the light manages to penetrate inside. With the help of the fantastic tent-x I can keep everything under control, humidity and temperature are now no longer a difficulty to overcome, and thanks to the LED module I can also control the switching on and off of the LED light. The best thing ever is being able to use the statistics that the device retrieves, calculating the VPD and with a table I can understand if the plant is breathing well. I thank TROLMASTER immensely for giving me the opportunity to test their product! 👽

Day 37. Not much to add ... Adjusting the pH morning and night and observe the good growth it has, keeps the canopy quite well. I have observed some pistils with orange tips, do you know what is due?

The buds are growing bigger still and the tent is really starting to smell, the stems have turned red from being close to the grow lights and my center buds have foxtailed, i now know for future runs to stay more on top of training so the plant cant grow as tall. pistils are starting to turn, If i had to guess I would say 11 weeks seems like an accurate flowering time I have also let them get dry a few times.

Day 109 for this long finishing girl. She’s huge and heavy and dongs for days. I’m so impressed with her. She’s been taking on weight like wild. Gave her a pre flush and one huge feeding. Going to give her an extra long flush like sativas enjoy. She almost towers over me. Huge bitch. So happy with her.

Day 75 watering with just ph controlled (6,2) water to finish flushing her Day 77 looks incredible frosty now, I Tonino I’m really close to CUt her. This afternoon I will check with microscope and, I’d like 25%amber and 75% milky

Started the week out with a mini flush and nutrient change. Plants are looking healthy and seem to be slowing down on the stretch and beginning to form some beautiful bud sights. I defoliated the main plants in the beginning of the week for the last time and will let them finish out their grow without anymore haircuts lol. The BW clones both have stretched pretty tall so far for being a clone going straight to 12/12. The CW clone is doing well and filling out already. So far so good on the grow.
