🌱 Runtz - Week 2 Update 🌱 The second week of growth is well underway, and so far, the Runtz seedlings are showing great potential, despite a small hiccup earlier in the week. 🌿 This week started with a bit of a scare when I noticed something unusual with my Root Juice fertilizer—it had gone bad, with white spots floating inside, resembling mold. I had already applied it a few times during the first week, which led to some concerns about the soil's health. I took quick action by removing the top layer of the soil and replacing it with fresh soil mixed with mycorrhiza. To combat any lingering issues, I watered the plants with a solution of Clean Soil and Cannazym to cleanse the medium and support root health. Thankfully, the Runtz plants didn’t seem to be affected negatively—they’ve maintained steady growth and appear happy and healthy! It’s a relief to see their resilience. Looking forward to wrapping up Week 2 with bigger, stronger plants and setting the stage for explosive growth in the coming weeks! So this week last week I did 2 waterings of banana peels and then once with Fish Sh!t for more nutrient uptake to fix that calcium issue. I’ve been on top of PH and incorporated gypsum solution to my waterings but they don’t seem to want to uptake the nutes. It seems to be affecting my flower production so I might take an L on my thinner plant but the purple one is doing pretty good ✅ hopefully there isn’t more problems, if you have solutions, please I’m all ears!!

3era semana. El efecto de "Amazonia" se ve reflejado en las hojas hacía arriba adorando al sol. Se la ve linda y creciendo con fuerza. Al menos 0.5cm por día. Finalizando el día 19 de su crecimiento le hice una poda apical. Por su estructura sativa y mí poco espacio decidí hacer topping y poner hacer un guiado con lst para luego poner la malla de scrog. Día 21 me olvidé de regar y se achicharraron las dos primeras hojas por deshidratación. Después de regar se la ve linda y feliz.

Heat wave is over. Fat banana coming along nicely now, still getting fat. Purple/blue hue to the tips of some of her caylax’s. Her buds are glistening, without any camera flash. Her smell is pure bliss, can’t put an exact description on it, but tropical comes to mind. Just waiting to see those hairs recede some more and a little fade. We continue to mix our own nutes, but I started also testing Nutra Hydro . One rack only for now. Next project is upcoming for organic beds or huge pots. STAT TUNED BROTHERS ANS SISTERS ! Grower love ❤️❤️❤️!!!!

So amazing strain

The plants are stressed AF and after more research from being here I'm seeing the problems. I got another fan and put it on the intake duct so that air was being actively pushed in rather than passively from the other fan which only takes air out. And then I got a photometer app called photone. So I fixed it until it read 100 on the PAR meter which the guys at the grow place told me was good. Now with this hygrometer I can pay attention to this and maybe set up alerts for when the VPD exceeds a certain range.

The girl grow pst the circumference of the 5 gallon pot. She is steadily growing on the top, fan leaves look thick and bright green. The stem is growing in girth. I fed her some stump tea along with a gallon of feed water at the end of this week. Let's see how she reacts to it. I have been super cautious in increasing her feed. Since she is growing in soil, I waited until she is a month old before loading her with nutrients. Concerns for this week: This plant is getting real bushy, the fan leaves are pretty big. Its gonna b casting plenty shade in a week ot two. Little bit concerned about light distribution to all parts of the plant. The fan leaves are so big, I am not sure how to begin LST on her. Need to read up more on it. Onward and upward!!

Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Hey growmies, Stretching and pre flowering, added deep red lights from Mars Hydro, unfortunately I'm fighting with 70% RH during night and 60% day, maybe I will buy a room dehumidifier...

Went away for 4 days so I watered them gently before I left. Because I'm using a cheap fan to input air in the closet some mold has appeared on the soil, but it was easy to remove with a spoon.
