Doing ten hours of darkness (9:30 pm to 7:30 am) plus a ‘bonus’ two hours by using the far red light for a few seconds before dark which causes the plant to go into dark mode about two hours faster. So, it’s like having a 26 h day with 12 h of dark. This is a great trick if you have daily access to your plants. July 15: doing fine. A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. A week on and I have transplanted the girls from the nursery to the 15l pots. My main girl is doing well with leaf development and is coming to the second node of growth. One of the mutations is looking a lot better now and has a better shape to it. The third is still on the wild side but again I’ll stick with it and see what I get.

Today is the beginning of the 5th week I see the first sings of hairs/pistles she does not need feeding so I am going to top dress her with some local bat guano and some raw bloom stage microbes in prep for the next feeding. Hopefully she gives me some more stretch. Side not I know I could be asking a lot of questions but would just rather learn the process by watching her and see what she does and when so I can better programe in the process for any other auto grow. I feed her on sunday/yesterday just to add an update. See above nutrients and additives.

And it looks like they didn't mind that much going to the hairdresser as they keeps on drinking the same and evolving at the same pass. They are all becoming beautiful beast ladies and im loving them all in diferent ways , so far the mor advanced one is the somango followed by the water melon followed by the no idea what it is seed and in the end e have bruce banned, im loving t he fact that they all started same time and that they all are going to finished different, this means i will be trying me second harvest plant smoking my pervious one 😝 . Had to do some trimming on the one plant, however it is coming back strong. trying to get my watering schedule down. I guess I wont complain too much, they are still alive.

Welcome to Week 6 of the Fast Buds Lemon Pie Auto grow! These plants seem constantly hungry so I’ve increased the fertilizer again to 3.75 mls per gallon with every feeding. So I water every fourth day- 3 litres per plant which equals 0.75 of a litre per plant per day. But when I water, I air bubble my jugs using a fish pump to dechlorinate my water while adding some bonus oxygen. I use three 1 gallon milk jugs to hold my water and when I feed- I only add fertilizer to two of the three jugs. I use the plain, PH’d water first and then continue with the fertilized water adding up to a 25/75 ratio of plain water to fertilized water with every feeding. So far so good as these hungry ladies seem to be thriving and tolerating the increase nicely. Defoliating as needed. Thanks for stoppin by… 🤓
