I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The fourth autoflowering that we present to you is our version or rather of Zamnesia forgive me if I start to feel at home, it is the Northern Lights. Here we are talking about a classic of classics naturally in the Zamnesia version as I said above with the right ruderalis it really promises big harvests in a short time. There is great competition on this plant and I have grown some very good ones let's see what the home one is like. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Dia 49 desde cotiledon, realizamos primera poda apical. aplicamos tambien una vez por semana NPK, un riego con fertilizantes y otro sin. la semana que viene ya aplicaremos melaza tambien en el riego. y por otra mezcla los preventivos de insecticida y fungicida. También aplicamos tierra de diatomeas tanto arriba del sustrato como en las hojas! espolvoreamos y despues rociamos con agua, quedarán las hojas blancas 😝

The candy cush bounced back with resilience this week after the transplant. She is about to go into stretch and seems to be doing well this week.

6 days left and I couldn’t ask for more. She got her last feed 10 days to harvest date. Will keep on watering only and will be giving her a final pluck today.

These babies are exploding in growth and vigor honestly I didn't need to Scrog them jus made it easier to split branches and keep each other off each other but loving this grow hope it turns out awesome so I can enter one of these babies in the DGC cup plus the east coast conissuers cup in Richmond VA shoutout to all VA growers doing the dam thing

the buds are swelling nicely now starting to reduce the amount of feed i give it and increase the {Rain water} ,we use water from the sky all times we find its the best source of water for plants. 🗓️ Week 11 – Flower Week 7 (MAC n Cheese only) This week brought a noticeable shift: After raising the input EC to 2.0, runoff EC spiked to 2.2–2.6 – a clear sign of salt saturation in the medium. Despite that, pH remained stable between 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding or nutrient lockout appeared. 🔧 Adjustment planned: Starting next watering, EC will be reduced to 1.6–1.7 to rebalance the substrate and maintain nutrient uptake efficiency. 🌿 Current plant status: MAC n Cheese is looking incredibly strong – healthy, vigorous, and showing no stress despite the high EC in the runoff. Frost production is in full swing now, and the buds are packing on serious weight. 🧀 Visuals & Flower Development: The buds are massive, dense, and coated in a thick frost layer – already resembling little icicles. She’s maturing into something special. ❄️🔥

Jetzt sind wir schon in der Woche 5 :) Die buds werden sichtlich dicker, voller und harziger. Nun stellt sich mir die Frage wann ich die beiden Schönheiten ernten soll? ich hätte gedacht ich ernte in 1-2 Wochen, aber vorher möchte ich mir die Meinung von den Profis hier abholen :) Zu dem würde ich jetzt anfangen die Erde auszuwaschen, damit der Geschmack von den Düngern nicht ruiniert wird.

Germinating 14 seeds and I think I killed some because of very high humidity over 4 days in the dome. One little guy/girl has double cotyledons on both sites and one has it on one side. Start 07.03.2023

Last week was the last feed week we will be flushing the plants for the last two weeks of this grow flushing with kleens by cyco and a touch of molasses to finish of this grow of the year harvest in two weeks
