It is day 30 and we are finally seeing some growth starting after a few days of being locked out due to what I believe is from nutrient burn. Won’t go as heavy next top dress. I have ordered a soil ph pen which will be arriving tomorrow so that I can’t test my soil ph and the run off. Until then I have ph'd the water to 6.0 to hopefully stimulate more growth before flower. These plants are very short but stacked! I can’t wait to see how big they are at pre flower. After it’s 3rd week stretch. Reach for the skies bitches! Watering less aswell. I believe iam overwatering because I go days without seeing these girls. Exhale c02 bag doing well. Resembles mould at the moment. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s visited my diary. Un error vuelvo a repetir ha sido no tener medidor de EC-PH y otro ha sido el haberme excedido con los s riegos. 👍 Amnesia Haze pheno #1 has everything it takes to be a keeper. Hazy genes mixed with subtile sweetness and a bit of citrus. Outstanding 😵 👍 Amnesia Haze pheno #5 is much more hazy. Buds are relatively small 😏 Let's wait a while. 👍 Shining Silver Haze pheno #2 (75cm) it is the smallest plant, but despite its height a very beautiful plant. Her buds are foxtail-style, long buds that still form nice clusters. Her smell is sensational 😍 👍 Shining Silver Haze pheno #5 (135 cm) is the tallest plant and is an extreme sativa. She smells spicy, peppery and a bit of licorice. She has gone a bit mad : her buds are too loose and have kinky shapes 😜 👉 The plants stille consume a lot of water, despite their small sativa-style leaves. 👉 I did some defoliation of the lower leaves, who are turning a bit yellow. 👉 I repositioned the plants to new levellers to get a flat canopy 👉 The plants consume a lot of water. Three times a week I water the plants from above with GEN 1:11 care products (3 times 5l with nuts). The rest of the water comes from the water tank (no nuts).

This bugger neatly drank 3L of the solution I had prepared for three weeks!! there some serious growth happening. Defoliation was a good idea at this point to reduce the amount of wasted nutrients and increase the flowering priority. Had to share the last "video" to show my appreciation in learning about LST here on growdiaries, those are pepper plants.

Day 47/May 27: Top dressed with 7.5 tablespoons of Gaia Green 2-8-4 and about 2.5 tablespoons of Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release nutrients. Defoliated a lot of leaves and reapplied LST

2 Girls 1 Cup week 10! Fuck yeah, the end is near. Can't wait to reset and put the new system in. Day 70- today marks the girls 10wk from breaking surface. Having the windows open on a rainy day is cranking up the RH. I just turned the A/C on shortly after snapping pics. Closing the windows and turning on A/C should bring humidity down. I may take GC (depending on tricomes) and make bubble out of it. Stabbing her multiple times got her hormones flowing. Still don't think it'll be mature enough at chopping day, but I'm trying to think positive. WG tricomes looking good. Up top we have a few amber, mid section they're 90% cloudy. I will try and take a pic with my scope. Tried once and i need another hand or two to make it easier. Picked a sample bud off WG's mid section. Mostly cloudy, few clear, few amber. It'll help with air flow right?? 🤣 *edit* A/C is on the fritz.. need to bring home a multimeter and diagnose. ======================================================================================================== Day 71- anything else want to break on me this week? Today my inline fan took a shit.. next day air a replacement, and hope the smell doesn't escape between now and then. I can tell ya after using two cheap ass fans that vivosun is louder than ipower. Both rated at 195cfm, but the new vivosun pushes MORE air from the outlet on the lowest setting compared to the ipower on high... going to have to figure out something for the noise though.. sounds like a jet engine. Lowered Temps during day and night is bringing back the terps! Both of the girls smell AMAZING. only checking tricomes daily on WG though. She determines chopping day. Mostly cloudy with equal number of clear/amber. Shooting for 50/50 cloudy/amber. Heady buds don't have any medicinal/psychoactive effect on me. Love the taste, but does nothing for my pain or insomnia. *edit* they're eating and drinking less by the day. Figure it's time to drill the girls. A few hours before lights out, late in their day. #7 drill bit right through their hearts 🤣. It sure did make GC ramp up when I stabbed it each of the 5 times. Daytime high 77F, night time low 66F. Nice swing and cool enough will hopefully bring out some purples, but not really pressed if it doesn't. The SMELL is what I wanted back, and I got it!! Not baking the girls in the low to mid 80's anymore is really helping. Dropped the TDS from 950's to 750's since TDS was slightly rising and PH dropping. Indicating too many nutes. I hung the "sample" in the outlet duct to speed dry it yesterday. Still damp, but tried anyway. This is gonna be some good bud, if I don't fuck it up that is.. need to grab a tricome pic for the diary. ======================================================================================================== Day 75- EC still rising and PH dropping.. took 8L out and added 8L bubbled/PHd TAP. Dropped RES from 668 to 365 @ 5.9. WG is looking great. Can't say the same for GC 🤣. I can't let my mistakes ruin GC rep though. Went ahead and drained the RES, and flushed the WaterFarm with bubbled PHd TAP @ 132ppm. Tried to rinse some of the excessive salt buildup accumulated over the duration of the grow. Filled RES with PHd RO. Haven't been able to completely drain the WaterFarm since before the side RES was installed. So there's always a bit left over. Only took 4.2gal to fill her up. Can't wait to take a pic of the root mass below. Currently sitting at 80ppm @ 5.91. Days are numbered... watching tricomes up top, in mid, and down low for maturing. Tops 5-10% amber, mids 1-5% amber, down low still 10% clear. Loved growing this. Sang its praises rhe whole way through because it just looked like a beast. I like the pretty Cali strains but I always find the yields are close to frustrating for abilities not up up there. Overall the strain helped me take chances that paid off so I really enjoyed it. Will grow again. Threnneighbors should smell this on the balcony this summer 😂💚🙏🏼

Welcome to week 6 I started to see signs of nutrient deficiency during the course of week 5 and decided to correct this deficiency by trying to lower the nutrient level by all signs it appears to have worked. I was using the recommended level of nutrients on the bottle but after having conversations with fellow Growers I come to the conclusion that it was still too strong for my plants so I'm using half the dosage. Doing that has resulted in the plants growing very healthy no signs of deficiency in any of the leaves above the lower leaves so it appears that I've corrected the problem. That's my update for the week keep your stick on the ice PPM's are at 1125 but 376 PPM of that is just the water and in installing a water cleaning system to see if i can bring that down

Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

Still just want to keep the defoliation to a minimum. I wanted to have a grow with the plants 'O Natural' with no topping or other techniques. I thinned out almost all but the top 2 sets of fan leaves

01.12 - Stretch has stopped, so I decided to change my nutrient plan and also lollipopped all of the girls during the week when I watered them. They develop really well and I look forward to see the buds growing.

Happy 4th everyone 🎆. I just returned from a 4 day family trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I love that place and we had a lot of fun. The girls are doing great. I filled the reservoir before I left and it's was 1/4 remaining when I returned. That's one big advantage using the auto pots. If i was manual watering, i would be able to miss watering them more than a day. The posted pictures are 7 days from the last week photos. I also took a couple videos. With this being the beginning of week 5, I increased my bloom to 12ml per gallon. It's usually 9ml. I also increased my koolbloom from 3ml to 5ml per gallon. I'll go back to 9 and 3 on week 6.
