So after four weeks away, I didn't know what I'd come back to if anything. We were evacuated due to fires, roads etc all damaged. So the plants were on their own. Just water and light, no nutrients at all. As you can see it suffered a little stunted growth but she finished really well. I'm grateful they survived. But the experiment has failed really. I wanted to see what was possible with modern auto genetics. But with four weeks on plain water the results won't be any use to me really. But...this lemon cherry cookies has finished fast and given me a decent little yield considering the abuse. I will harvest now and update with bud pics, dry weight and smoke report. Apologies for the gap in updated, but I couldn't get access for photos obviously:(

3/16: Rain let up for half the day, but more tonight...damnit... They are due for a watering tomorrow, but with the high RH, maybe not... 3/17: They weren't ready for water yet, so I slept for a few bonus hours! (rare) Both of these plants continue to pack on the pistils with no signs of slowing down...I thought surely the shortie would be ready to flush this week, but she's not even close to ready yet.😕 It rained for most for the day....again... 3/18: I watered them with about 1/2 gallon each including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, endoboost, humic acid, and a little cha ching. It rained all night again..and most of the day today. I took some photos with the qb's turned off and a 135w 5500k CFL on.. 3/19: It rained all night and several times again today...ffs....I've started building an Ark in my free time 😁 3/20: Rained again on and off today..RH still too high... 3/21: I took the shortie out of the closet today to inspect her trichomes. I took about 2-dozen close-ups and zoomed in really close on my PC and couldn't find a single amber anywhere...and prolly only about 30% cloudy at this point.. I went ahead and took some cuttings from her while I had her out. Hopefully I can get at least one to survive and grow outdoors this season. I also took some cuttings from the FFT#6 (the other shortie), and I started a couple of other FFT's (5 & 7) which I'll train out as horizontally as possible to match the shortie's heights. 3/22: Rained again last night several times...and again today for a couple hours...ridiculous. Woke up with RH at 65%!!! Been chatting with other FFT growers and they all seem to be losing a lot of produce to botrytis...I'm starting to freak out..😳

Day 118 Another check fan alert. Exhaust stopped working. We’re now back in action. Hoping this one will hold out for another week until harvest! Next batch of seeds have been put into Jiffy pellets. Will update on the plant I moved outdoors right before I put them into flower. It looks incredible! Day 119 Trichomes are still glass-like. Some are beginning to cloud, but it looks like probably another week or so to go. Day 121 Turning the humidity down to try and simulate fall weather. Try and get these plants to flower a bit quicker before the get nanners Day 124 Just starting to get some amber trichomes! Ready for harvest. Putting it into a 2 day flush and then she’s getting cut down!

30.4.25: This worked out very nicely 👌 I just found Ecothrives' new, Trace! I was looking for Cal-Mag with no NPK. I came across this, I'm genuinely so excited to get using this! Ecothrive has the best products, hands down. As fate would have it, the plants are looking pretty dry! I'm going to be watering with the Trace and Biosys. Let's see what happens 😁 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 contained: ♡ 3ml of Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 Tsp (2.4ml) Ecothrive Biosys Let's see how we're looking in a few days after the first Ecothrive Trace application! The plants received 3 litres of this feed each. PPM: 475 PH 6.0 1.5.25: I mixed a foliar feed with my new Ecothrive Trace. I filled a 250ml spray bottle with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with 4ml Ecothrive Trace. I used the entire bottle in 3 plants throughout the course of the day. The fan is very strong, so it didn't take long to dry. However, I did keep the lights dimmer to ensure no leaves were burnt. Additionally, I spent more time than I care to admit massaging the foliar spray into the leaves 😅 I also moved the LED lights up as Northern Lights is still stretching. Par was about 600-700. Which may be too much. I'll keep an eye on it. I also watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 to Northern Lights. 2.5.25: I watered 1 litre today. With Greenleaf Nutrients Bud Explosion PK booster 1/2 Tsp dissolved in dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9. PPM came out high at 1300, so I watered another litre through just plain, PH'd to 6.2. 5.5.25: FastBuds Mystery seed #1 is focusing on bud building. There are certainly chunky buds beginning to form here! 😍 She has pretty well stopped stretching, and so she's shorter than Northern Lights, which is still growing vertically, this is a little unfortunate as they're no longer a Sea Of Green. Unless Northern Lights is a tidal wave 😅 So because the canopy is no longer uniform, the lighting is difficult to dial in. Which has never been my strong point. Her leaves are still very dark. I'm going to top dress with Ecothrive Life Cycle, but because of the darkness of leaves, I won't add the Ecothrive Charge. Which is mainly more vegetative growth needs. Which will contain more nitrogen, which we certainly don't need any more of at this stage. Plant top dressed with; ♡ 2 Tbs of Ecothrive Life Cycle ♡ 1 Cup Worm Castings ♡ 1 Cup Canna Coco ♡ 1.25 Cups Perlite I watered in with 2 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing .25g of Ecothrive Biosys. So far, she's doing great, I've never grown FastBuds without topping them, so maybe they will grow taller without that training technique. We will try that with our next FastBuds strain. I'm not sure when I'll grow another FastBuds as I've got the rest of the year booked up. The tent is in demand! 😅 Nonetheless, they are always sturdy plants, which is great, of course. This next week will just be monitoring of excess/ deficiency of nutrients and probably another foliar spray of the new Ecothrive Trace. I have removed a few fan leaves at the lower canopies. Ladies still drink a lot of water, 3,4 L every 48 hours. Main cola flowers are getting big, side colas less but still 2 weeks to go so hopefully they will continue. The lady in the front, plant and buds have another aspect then the other 2. All of them are cherry cola. Also had some issues with her during veg phase and she began flowering earlier.

Has been a rough week dealing with the heat and rain. Having to run the dehumidifier 24 hours a day and I am seeing some foxtailing in most of the strains from the hot air it puts out. Twisted helix was chopped last week. She's not even worth taking pictures of. Tiny buds about the size of my thumb. Not much smell and they are not impressive. I will be making bubble hash and edibles from it. I pulled the blackcherry punch off the feed tube and a few days ago and she is flushing. I filled the reservoir with nutrients for the last time today. After they drink it down in a few day I will start flushing all the plants. Going to be a big job trimming this round since it looks like most of them will be ready for harvest around the same time. There are buds falling over everywhere due to the weight, but it's impossible to get in and tie them up without rubbing all over the buds and damaging a lot of trichomes. So not much can be done about it at this point. Just going to try to keep the temp and humidity down until they are ready for the chop.

Still slow going but the weather has improved so that’s great. No sign of any bud rot thankfully 😅. A lot of other outdoor growers are having problems and I have had some on other plants.

Welcome to the Week 10, Day 70 update for the Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine XL Autoflowering grow. Not much to talk about this week as the last two plants remaining in the tent are on cruise control to harvest. I used fertilizer for the final time at the beginning of Week 10 and it’s flush time for these plants until the big chop! They are still being watered every 4th day and they are still drinking about 3.5 litres per plant per watering (0.875 of a litre per plant per day). These remaining two plants have virtually no Powdery Mildew so I am only defoliating as needed if the leaf is already dying. All of the pistols/hairs have turned orange and are receding back into the buds so I’m guessing that harvest will be in Week 11. I have included a brief video above with my photos showing pretty much everything used during this grow. I wanted to give people a quick look at how simple it really is to grow and harvest your own high quality cannabis. Hope you enjoy! Day 60 11/27/20 welcome to week 10 I had a busy week last week trying to counter my cal/mag problem but I feel I'm making headway and she looks to be still growing good. I have been making changes to the nute level's that I think will work out for the best. Última semana de floración de estas candy caramelo y es que vaya flores son como rocas muy compactas kio, de lo mejor que e visto también en mucho tiempo fumetillas. Plantas pequeñas con un buen porte y un buen grosor de tallo, son bastante rápidas a la hora de florecer, os aseguro que las aguantaba una semana más pero por temas de virus y tal decido cortarlas ya que también están bien bastante contento en verdad con esta varieddd. Mantuve ph hasta el final controlando humedad y temperatura pocas veces desvarío el asunto. Muy muy contento zambeza hizo un fast bastante curiosa con olores dulces .
