So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

This lady is getting HUGEEEE. I see the sativa in her already. Shes starting to pre flower but I would say shes also still got a long ways to go. I'm super excited to have the experience to run this cultivar. This specific variety was special for me as I wanted a heavy sativa in an auto. I hope you guys enjoy this diary as much as I. ENGLISH VERSION BELOW Wie ich im letzten Update geschrieben habe, fällt dieses hier etwas größer aus und enthält auch mehr Fotos und Videos. Die Pflanzen haben sich gut entwickelt, waren aber mittlerweile zu groß für ihre kleinen Töpfe und zeigten Anzeichen von Wurzelstress. Ich habe sie daher in 9-Liter-AirPots umgetopft, die ich noch von einem alten Projekt übrig hatte. Als Substrat verwende ich eine 70/30-Mischung aus Canna Coco Professional und Peligran Perlite von Knauf. Ich liebe dieses Zeug – man kann es praktisch nicht überwässern. Die Wurzelballen habe ich mit etwas Mycotrex von Biotabs bestreut. (Mycorhizzae) Um ehrlich zu sein: Ich war einfach zu faul, neue Stofftöpfe zu kaufen, also dachte ich mir, warum nicht die alten AirPots wiederverwenden :-) Mal sehen, wie sie sich darin machen. Ich habe die Pflanzen auch in ihre „endgültige“ Umgebung gestellt – ein 120x120-Zelt (4×4 für meine imperialen Freunde ;-) – und ab jetzt werden sie über meinen geliebten Ebbe-/Flut Eigenbau versorgt. Ich habe es vor 10 Jahren gebaut, und es ist immer noch ein echter Segen. Einmal am Tag werden die Pflanzen mit Nährlösung aus einem 200-Liter-Tank (52 Gallonen) geflutet. Leider bedeutet das auch, dass ich euch nicht mehr sagen kann, wie viel Nährlösung jede Pflanze genau bekommt – sie nehmen sich einfach, was sie brauchen. Das neue Zelt wird mittels eines AC Infinity Controller 69 klimagesteuert, sodass ich die Bedingungen deutlich besser im Griff habe. Ich versuche, einen VPD von etwa 1,2 zu halten. Die Klimaanlage ist auf 22 °C (~71 °F) eingestellt und der Luftbefeuchter hält die Luftfeuchtigkeit bei etwa 62 %. Offtopic: Ich musste eine große Lemon Orange-Mutterpflanze räumen, um Platz für die vier Humboldt-Mädels zu schaffen. In den nächsten Tagen werde ich sie zurückschneiden müssen. Was demnächst ansteht: In den nächsten Tagen werde ich die Pflanzen toppen. Die abgeschnittenen Spitzen werde ich versuchen, als potenzielle Mütter zu bewurzeln – vielleicht ziehe ich ja ein DNA-Los :-). Meine Frage an euch diese Woche: Mit welchen Substraten und Bewässerungssystemen habt ihr schon herumexperimentiert – und was hat euch am meisten überzeugt? The plants were coming along nicely but the were to big for their tiny pots and showed some root stress. I transplanted them into 9 Liter AirPots which I had laying around from an old project. The substrate is a 70/30 mix of Canna Coco Professional and Peligran Perlite from Knauf. I love this stuff. You basically can't overwater it. I sprinkled the root balls with some Mycotrex from Biotabs (Mycorhizzae) Tbh I wast just too lazy to buy new fabric pots so I thought why shouldn't I use these old AirPots :-) We'll see how they perform. I also placed the plants in their "final" habitat which is a 120x120 (4×4 for my imperial friends ;-) and from now on they get fed by my beloved DIY-Ebb and Flow system. I built this 10 years ago and it's still a charm to have. Once a day the plants will get "flooded" with nutrient solution from a 200 L (52 gallon) tank below. Unfortunately this also means I can't tell you how much nutrient solution they received anymore as they just take as much as they need. This tent is climate controlled by an AC Infinity controller 69 so I should be able steer them way better. I try to keep them at a VPD of around 1.2. I have my AC set to 22°C (~71°F) and my humidifier keeps the tent around 62%. Offtopic: I had to evict a big Lemon Orange Mom to make space for the 4 Humboldt girls. She’s growing and stretching every day.. bud sites are starting I take shape.. look overall very healthy. I’m blown away by this Bruce Banner, it is about 10 to 14 days younger than the Durban’s I’m growing in the same tent yet the banner is taller and bigger. Week 3 flower major defoliation coming up within the next week.

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

I provided you with a close up video of each plant and one video where i go through tent and try to focus some nice buds individually.. Flushing her for 5 days already with a mild 400 ppm solution of terpinator and mammoth. Very sweet orange / apricot / melon smell to her, not the biggest buds in the tent bud definitely with the best aroma.. I would recommend this strain to everyone who loves sweet sugary fruity smell, its insane.

Day 144 23/09/24 Monday (Start of week) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today. Seeing her starting to really take shape now, buds forming well, trichomes now flooding in. She's looking good 😍 Day 146 25/09/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron PK13-14. Willkommen zu meinem Growbericht der Z-Up Auto von FastBuds. Sie hat beim Autoflower World Cup 2025 in Barcelona in der Kategorie Best New Autoflower 2025 den 2. Platz belegt. Grund genug, den Strain auszuprobieren. Die URL zum Strain findet Ihr hier: hhttps://2fast4buds.com/de/seeds/z-up-auto Es gibt dieses Mal wieder was neues: Zum ersten Mal verwende ich die neuen Air Pots 7.Gen mit 20 Litern Inhalt. Als Unterlage verwende ich einen Untersetzer mit Blähton der Körnung 4/8mm, der Topf läßt sich so besser ausrichten aus mit der gröberen Körnung. Das blaue Unterteil des Topfes habe ich mit einem doppellagigen Stück Insektenschutznetz versehen, damit die gute Erde nicht so schnell rausrieselt. Damit sind wir beim 2. Punkt der Neuigkeiten. Diesmal verwende ich die Bio-Hanferde von Sonnenerde. Die Aussicht, meine Pflanzen in Living Soil ohne Düngergefrickel anzubauen, stimmt mich neugierig. Auch die Aussicht, die Erde mehrfach benutzen zu können gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Zum Mulchen habe ich von Sonnenerde die Bio-Faser vorgesehen. Tag 79: Die Z-Up Automatic von FastBuds hat unglaublich frostige Blüten. Die Blütenfäden sind zum größten Teil orangefarben. Die Trichome sind zum großen Teil noch klar.
