Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

She has jumped to 28 inches. Impressive really. Defoleated A lot of useless bottom crap. Her stem has healed and is about 1 inch thick. She is looking and growing great.

Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. I decided to use LST on Californian snow and no touchies ( maybe a little ) on West Coast OG. Californian Snow is bigger. They both look healthy but i am a bit worried about leaf colours ( is visible on videos), thinking of nutrient overdose.

I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain. I would just like to say a big thank you for everyone who has been following and adding likes along the way. This week we gave some more guanokalong nutrients, more specific for flowering the buds are starting to form and getting bigger slowly day by day! We see lot pf bud sites everywhere! Also applied a small amount of foliar bio insecticide just in case before the plant is too advanced in flowering 29 august: nothing 30 august: water 31 august: nothing 1 September: nothing 2 September: water and guanokalong nutrients ( powder, black pellets, palm tree ashes) 3 September: nothing 4 September: nothing

Another successful week has passed, excluding the fact that one of the seeds didn't germinate. Our little one is growing rapidly, and it's undoubtedly thanks to the fertilizers from Xpert Nutrients. This is my first experience with this company's products, and I'm already impressed not only by the results but also by how well our girl responds to these nutrients. There's a lot of exciting things ahead, and I'm eagerly anticipating what's in store for us!

04.08.25. Day 70 10 weeks and I think she still has about 2 more weeks left. She is a big girl. 98cm tall. I gave her a fresh reservoir change out today. She has developed some symptoms on her leaves. Maybe nutrient burn or maybe the onset of some kind of deficiency. She is looking good. I will continue to monitor and update.

Day 30 for this girl, shes doing pretty well. Very nice structure due to plant training early in veg, a little bit of HST to keep the height down. Shes smelling quiet a bit now but has undergone a lot of stress although she is not showing it. Growing daily and cant wait to see what this girl has to give me. Very happy with her overall growth. 10/16/18- 1 gallon with Y YUCCA/fresh aloe/amminonthrive/urb natural

This is going to be my very first grow. very excited :D As soil I'm using Biobizz light mix mixed with 20% Cocos Brickx from Plagron. No nutrients in this stage just water. Light schedule 18/6 Day 5 - 4 out of 5 seeds have sprouted. still have a little bit of hope for the last one. let's wait a little bit more. Day 6 - Seed # 5 I assume is dead. it was still completely intact decided to try a revive on it by putting it in paper towels (wet) but that didn't do it. the worst thing is that I had my time lapse camera on this seed 😭. The other lady's doing well growing at the same pace. let's do 1 more night before we hop on to the next week of this story. Happy days friends 😀

The ladies have loved the fish sh!t so far, I am currently feeding about every 48-72 hours and they seem to be doing great They are getting thick but I really hope to get some FAT colas at the end of harvest, damn they are starting to smell so good!

Every has gone absolutely smooth so far with growing this girl. Full 8 weeks old today & 21 days into flower. She has a fairly strong sweet smell & her buds continue to bulk up. As I just harvested 1 plant , it's created a bit of space for me to put her into the Flowering tent for 12 hrs each day & move her back to veg for the remaining 8 hrs, as I'm running 780watts in the flower tent, hopefully this will bulk them up more. Simple L.S.T. grow grew her out a few nodes & bent her over & tied her down, doing a similar thing with the side branches. Then I've just let her go & do her own thing & haven't done anything other than feed her, haven't really had to do any defoliation as there's not that many leaves on her naturally.
