Beginning of week.. I almost started the flush this week.. But no, they need AT LEAST one more week of like a half dose of feedings.. then, I'll begin the flush. But they are both so beautiful! Lol.. So many purples in the ETHOS Cookies.. And the smell.. I can't get over the way she smells! So intense! Gonna be a great smoke for sure! Just don't want to harvest too early.. I did that with the Early Lemon Berry from ETHOS and it got me high.. But it was a very paranoid high.. Like VERY very paranoid hahaha.. I didn't like it.. But it tasted GREAT! But yeah, I harvested a little too early.. Not enough amber trichomes. And with these girls.. I feel comfortable flushing for 3 weeks if needed.. So this week I'm just gonna give them both a half dose (or so) of nutes but keep the sweetener at full power! Lol anyways.. Just (tRyInG tO) keeping these girls happy till the flush! The Mandarin Cookies leaves are beginning to look pretty pathetic.. They fall off pretty easily.. And look like complete shit in most spots.. Just can't wait to get these girls ready to smoke!!! They are getting STACKED! 💪💪💪 Mid week.. Still giving both plants: water, 1/2 feed, water, 1/2 feed, water, etc.. Mandarin Cookies gets watered/fed everyday (mornings) and the ETHOS Cookies gets watered/fed (afternoons usually). They are both looking like they should finish pretty close together. Trichomes are eVeRyWhErE! Seeing quite a few milky/cloudy.. Still quite a few clear tho too.. And almost no amber trichomes.. A couple here and there.. But not enough to even say amber are even forming really. Lol.. So pointless to even bring up.. Not till I see a gang of them.. Or at least a couple on one calyx to say there are some amber lol.. Just my 2 pesos, I guess.. Yet I suck at timing the harvest just right lol.. Still trying to find MY sweet spot.. Meh.. Anyways.. Just look at those pictures!!! Gorgeous colas! Good fucking job on these genetics ETHOS.. Good.. Fucking.. Job... End of week... Wow.. Just.... Wow... These ladies are looking awesome. This next week will be week 9 from 12/12.. Most of the pistils have turned.. Not all.. But more than 50% for sure. They are both looking about the same when it comes to pistils and trichomes.. Just BARELY starting to see some amber coming thru.. Still some clear.. But the next 2 weeks of flushing should give them enough time for the clear to mature a bit and should see more amber by then.. Hopefully not too many.. But I will harvest at the end of this week if they seem to mature too quick for another week.. 1 week of flushing in coco should be plenty.. I just like to overdose these ladies on water at the end.. It really does make a difference in my opinion.. I've even flushed a plant for like 4 or 5 weeks and yeah she looked like shit.. But only the leaves looked shitty.. The buds were still gorgeous as ever and VERY flavorful!.. Anyways.. This is about THIS grow.. These ladies are still loving life.. I have been slowly weaning them into the flush.. Not flushing them completely all at once.. But over a longer period of time so they can still get some nutes in.. But I am happy.. They are happy.. Tomorrow I will begin FloraKleen for both girls... And even run it thru the medium 2 days in a row.. Just to really get EVERYTHING out of the medium.. Then just water as I have been till harvest! Home stretch!!!!... On to the next week!...

This week was officially the start of the grow season. 6 fem seeds were popped using the paper towel and ziplock method. Stepdad said to hang them on the wall and the tap roots would grow straight down, and they did. Planted after 72 hours germ, 100% popped. Blackhack had a 1" root. Seeds were planted into soiless mix in solo cups with drainage holes. Lights arrived this week from CHYYYYYNA. Two 240w lm301h quantum boards will light up these 6 girls. Im hoping to steal a bit of extra light from the 4x8 beside me Just waiting now

Trimmed up the bottoms of the plants after the pics were taken, just forgot to take more. Buds are really starting to pop up everywhere. Currently in NY, and my girlfriend is watching the ladies for a week, so I will try to get her to send me some updated pics. These are from ~5 days ago, and there has been substantial bud bulling since then. They are drinking nutes and water like crazy and get topped off on both every single day lol.

Frisian Dew and Shaman are doing splendidly in the larger pots, a success story so far. FD and Shaman in the garden soil are a little behind, but are continuing to develop. Slugs and snails remain a problem, especially after these rainy weeks. Durban Poison from regular seed; a failure so far, perhaps they need the warmer climate in the polytunnel that is being set up. So far I have seen some male Durban Poisons, but which ones are definitely female? It remains exciting. Breeding is different from growing. Engorde weenooo engoorde real jajajajaja Bueno, pues buenas noticias dado que la población tan bestia de araña roja ha descendido a minimos! Por lo general ni veo ya, pero se que aún queda alguna, por ello, les meteré una limpieza mas con aceite de neem y jabón potásico, pero una sola mas, quizá esta noche o ya mañana. A partir de esta aplicación ya se acabo el uso de estos productos, y el siguiente lavado foliar que le haré será un té de canela, haré un concentrado hirviendo agua y con canela en polvo, filtrándolo para wue no quede residuo. Esto lo haré con intenciones antifungicas y de controlar un poco mas la humedad para mantener los bichos controlados.

Absoulutty banging bud , not as much weight as i wanted but I think that was down to a low veg time. I love this strain , it’s one of them flowers that you only need to smell it to know it’s gonna fuck you up😂 the bud is all Jarred up now curing and I gotta say the taste is nice , it’s not sweet as I like ,but a taste within its self . Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase. Day 78. All is good, think next weekend is last day for two Alaskan Diesels. Need to put few pure water waterings through them. Other girls still need food, so I took all N and CalMag away and will keep feeding for few more weeks. Northern Lights are ridiculous behind ... But they were in shade and still trying to achieve something .... Happy Growing !!!

So this week happened a little bit more. All of them got their final BioTabs Mix. Each Plant 500ml of Water with 1g Bactrex and 20ml Orgatrex. No more fertilizer now from the BioTabs Starterset, all they get now is BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 in flowering for thicker buds. Thought it would be a good idea to buy that, will see if it makes a difference. And as you can see i did defoliate them this week also. So much more airflow, finally i can see everything and can worry less about pest and so on. I just hope i didn't do it wrong or did too much of it, it was really scary just cutting off things which grew for such a long time, but i think for the first time it turned out pretty good. In flowering week 3, when i give them PK 5-8 for the first time, i will also defoliate them once more a little bit when it gets out of hand again. Since the biggest plant is about 45cm tall now i will start flowering soon but don't know yet when exactly, maybe a few days, maybe another week, until then they also had enough time to recover from defoliating and i hope everything will work out. Would also be good to get about 5-6cm more on the other plants, so i guess i will do it around Wednesday, but i will see. As you can see the scrog net is installed again, so this time i will pull them through the net and let it in for better division until the end. Really looking forward to my first flowering phase and how they will stretch out, kinda scared too :D See you next week :)

That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

Having trouble keeping humidity up as my grow is in the basement. Have home humidifier set to 35% but not enough even with a humidifier in the tent set to 60. Lights out isn’t an issue, it’s when lights on and the 6” exhaust is running that my temps are good but rh too low. UPDATE 12/21: The girls are back on track I fixed the whole home humidifier and added more humidifiers so my humidity is up to 50s. Plants are extremely healthy and the soil ecosystem is dreamy. Lots of worms at subsurface, cover crop is spreading and growing well and the plants are loving life.
