Willkommen zur achten Woche – Blütewoche 4 liegt hinter uns Wouw – acht Wochen sind schon wieder vorbei! Leider kommt das Update diesmal etwas verspätet, da mich eine Krankheit kurzfristig ausgebremst hat. Die Woche selbst verlief allerdings sehr ruhig. Die tägliche Arbeit ist inzwischen auf ein absolutes Minimum gesunken, da die Ladys ihre Routine gefunden haben und konstant weiterarbeiten. Die Entwicklung bleibt – wie in den Wochen zuvor – durchweg hervorragend. Fast die gesamte Blütezeit liegt bisher im absoluten Sweetspot, was sich nicht nur sehen, sondern trotz Filter und konstantem Unterdruck auch deutlich riechen lässt. Das Terpenprofil ist bereits jetzt sehr ausgeprägt. Es verteilt einen intensiven, süßen Duft im Raum, der stark an Zitrone, Limone und andere fruchtige Aromen erinnert. Besonders spannend ist dabei, dass sich die Aromen trotz der Geruchsfilterung gut durchsetzen – ein deutlicher Hinweis auf ein kräftiges Terpenprofil und gesunde Pflanzen. In puncto Wachstum hat vor allem die kleine Nachzüglerin in dieser Woche ordentlich aufgeholt. Mit über 37 cm Zuwachs steht sie nun bei beachtlichen 98 cm. Die Pflanze unten rechts hat sich auf 105 cm gestreckt, oben rechts misst nun 83 cm. Und der dominante Sativa-Phänotyp hat es mittlerweile sogar auf stolze 130 cm geschafft. Da sich das Höhenwachstum bei den meisten weitgehend abgeschlossen hat, geht nun sichtbar mehr Energie in die Ausbildung der Blütenstände – und das merkt man. Die Buds haben in der letzten Woche ordentlich an Volumen und Harz zugelegt und wirken schon jetzt vielversprechend. Nährstofftechnisch habe ich Green Sensation inzwischen durch Canna PK 13/14 ersetzt. Zusätzlich kam Cannazym zum Einsatz, um die große Wurzelmasse gesund zu halten und den Stoffwechsel zu unterstützen. Leaf-Tucking wird weiterhin regelmäßig angewendet, um den unteren Trieben Licht zu verschaffen, ohne die Pflanzen unnötig zu belasten. Zudem wurden die Ladys in dieser Woche ein letztes Mal entlaubt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und den Fokus voll auf die Blütenbildung zu lenken. Besonders zufrieden bin ich aktuell mit der Klimasteuerung – VPD, Luftfeuchtigkeit und Temperatur sind sehr stabil und genau im gewünschten Bereich. Das schafft optimale Bedingungen für die Photosynthese und fördert die Harzbildung in dieser entscheidenden Phase. Insgesamt bleibt es spannend. Der Platz im Zelt ist inzwischen sichtlich zu knapp, was die Luftzirkulation und Lichtverteilung etwas erschwert. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem bisherigen Verlauf und freue mich auf die kommenden Wochen – denn jetzt geht es langsam auf die Zielgerade zu.

Late update for this week 4 of flower... Went on a quick trip, a couple days away from the ladies. They did get thirsty but didn't droop much, and perked up after watering. To start the week, earthworm topdress per the uprising bloom feed chart. 1/2c per pot. Finished off the tea and have watered a few more times with just calmag and bloom boost. The trichomes are finally coming in, things are looking beautiful as the buds fatten and the leaves frost over. The smell is getting stronger every day. Speaking of smell, I've fallen in love with every strain all over, because I can finally touch and smell the sticky resin. From worst to best so far: Blueberry Muffin does not have a strong smell yet. It smells like sweet syrup spilled in a cedar cabinet. Chocolate Mint OG is complex. Rubber, roasted chocolate, fresh damp earth, dank, and more... Permanent Marker smells very much like one of my favorite strains, Chemdog. Pungent gassy chemical funk, backed by a bit of citrus, with hints of mossy earth. Orangecello is the star of the show. It has a strong smell I've found in strains like Forbidden Runtz and other high terpinolene strains. It smells like a sweet candy paint. I've heard it described as rotten fruit. It also smells a bit like sunscreen, like nail polish remover and fake chemical tropical coconut scent. Things are really getting close to the home stretch. I think the plants are done stretching and are ready to fatten up those buds and frost over. I can't wait to taste!

Just at the end of week # 2 in bloom , LST training is going well and the canopy is pretty full , cooler outside temps allow me to use my co2 burner and they are all looking great with lots of bud sites and liking the nutrient balance, made new nuits today and it went from 1400 to 1150 in two feedings , one more week of stretch and then I will finish the under canopy cleanup and plan on a light defoliation at week 4 of bloom. The 8 Ball Kush is really showing great growth and it’s early on , should be some huge buds this crop , the Blue OG Kush is healthy , it’s my first time with it so I’m not sure what it grows like . Alright guys, this girl was stunned and stressed at the beginning because it didnt have the right nutrients in the soil mix due to lack of money and couldn't get any for the time being, thank god we did some hustle and ya know!... So for the next time we will grow another amnesia way better than what we could do with this one. Anyways... at first we didnt think she was going to make it but since amnesia is super fast and strong she did so. We could have waited a little longer for harvest and probably get better yield but we really didnt think it was going to make much difference at that time.... Of course, every single seed is a new experience for me every time, which is good because i keep learning In the other hand, sucks because you waited this long and didnt get what you expected, just keep trying until u get better right!? xD! haha... well here we go again, we love it tho so forever we will keep trying and with all the support and help from all the community at the grow diaries it makes me feel even better! They still seem to be growing, although going in the room twice a day, it is difficult to notice unless I look closely or compare photos with previous weeks. Going to cut off a couple small pieces of calyx's shortly and will post a couple pictures from my scope. Speaking of those, they're starting to give me some nice colours, slight purples, neon greens and yellows, the photos don't really do them justice under the warm lighting but I will try and take a couple pics in some white light when I chop her down in a couple weeks time. It is also quite difficult to illustrate the size of some of these colas, the one near the back on the right, is about 19 inches long, and about 4 inches wide. Looks like 2 ounces of bud hanging on her and I have had to lasso some string around it and a couple other colas as they were falling down. Bringing EC slowly down to around 1.2 - I think I will cut nutrient strength down to about 0.8 EC in a few days time to try and hurry her along a bit. I will only be flushing for 3 days at the end of this grow, they will also be in the dark for 2 days at the end with low temps (mid teens in ºC) to preserve terpenes, oils and other cannabinoids. She is developing nicely, haven’t really been doing much to her, other than tucking some leaves away. Comparing her to her mothers diary, she is pretty much on par in terms of flower development, maybe even slightly ahead, as I decreased the light distance much earlier.

Day 3 1st bit of training this week. Looking healthy. My aim is to allow lowest bud sites to keep up with the main heads.. LST LST LST LST LST During this stage is most important to train Ur plant into the shape u want.

9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine Little vid she is front left Nuets not changing for now 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Has been 3 weeks since my last post due to holiday. The wedding cake was a bit delayed in grow because my PH meter was broken so I was assuming my PH was correct while in actuality it was too low. The scrog net is covered for about 60% wanted to play it safe because I’m not sure how much it will stretch. The clock has been set on 12/12 yesterday. Expect to see some flower growth in 2 weeks.

Welcome to week 9 / flowering week 3 🌱 I had a little incident with the blumat system and accidentally flooded the tent. Nothing to worry about, everything is fine 😅🌱 The girls are growing well, PPFD levels are good and we’re on the road to mid flower. They keep getting bushy again, so I might defoliate them a little more in the next days. Also the blumat system needs more adjustment. Happy growing friends 🧙‍♂️

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.
