NYC Diesel Auto (Was Hey Abby) W20 F9 2/1-7 New York City Diesel is ready for harvest. I plan to harvest this weekend, time permitting. I flushed her with 5.5 gal of water since 1/24. Not as much as I would have liked. 2/5 trichome pics show a moderate amount of amber but in some colas, nearly 80%. This maturation was very fast as I was planning for the 15th. Given the amount of amber now showing, I have grown past what I prefer for maturity, this will now lean more indica. We had our first big snow this week following a light dusting last week. Needed to go in big pots will sort that tmro watered late today they will be fine again once in bigger pot these have been on 12/12 for a few days. Will pl out the gavita they need some hear for a week or 2 led lights not powerful enough now for the plant age it's not growing much now fed today water tmro with transplant

Thursday the 8th of June day 43 of 12/12 just plain ph water from now until harvest

The ladies are doing great and growing well. I'm really happy with the progress so far. They have now reached 60 cm. I plan to install the Scrog net within the next few days to allow them to grow wider.

Dropped using the Bloom this week to address the tip burn & added more bamboo to support the colas, hope to harvest in a couple weeks I think.

i had to manage to run the field with back up lights.. FCE6500 marshydro light gone stop working and the guarantee process taking too long and asking 40usd for shipping.. they said .. and it’s a tiring process and i haven’t got it yet! but the yield is something good except they didn’t get full potential light power as fce6500 failed its duty and warranty process is taking more than a month. tiring!!!

So my light broke down and only operates on 40%. Spiderfarmer Support not really helpful. They tried to give me 30€ in points back for a broken light that is not even 1 year old. Still trying to get a refund or anything from Support. Really Bad support so far

A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. I also added in a bit of a PK booster. nothing to crazy only 60ppm worth on a total allowance of 700PPM Lights now running at 100% with V1 spectrum, decided to go with 100% now vs after stretch, will see how it works out. Week 5 already? Plant is struggling to catch up after such that two week lag period where it didn't do a thing. Still, things are starting to get encouraging so now watering every day at 2 hours after lights on. Added a webcam to the tent to watch what is happening. Noticed that at 12 hours after lights on, the leaves would start to wilt. Flooding at that time didn't have any noticeable effect before lights out, so I added a flood at 9 hours in (half the period). Pushed the wilting back to 14-15 hours after lights on, and just a little now, but still not completely solved. Grew from 2 inches to 7 inches this week!

The trichomes towards the end of this week had started to go slightly cloudy so I decided not to feed and to start the flushing process instead. I flushed the medium with a couple of litres of water per plant until I got a good amount of run off. I think I may have not back off the nuets enough on the few last feeds as the majority of the leafs on all 4 plants are still quiet dark green in colour with no yellowing. I did a good amount of defoliation at the start of week to try and get as much light to the lower areas as possible. The buds are still developing ok I think they feel dense, they won’t be massive buds but I am hopeful for a decent yield overall. The smell is strong but the carbon filter is working great. Happy growing so far 🤞🏻

2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

Very happy with how both plants turned out in the end! Pheno#1 is a definite keeper, but il be hanging on to Pheno#2 for at least another run or two. Both plants have a very similar smell it’s like a tropical cherry punch, #1 smells the strongest, you only have to nudge it and then whole room stinks. #2 has a gassy edge that #1 doesn’t have. Both smell incredible! I’ve cut both plants into individual branches and I’ve hung them in my drying tent. I’ve removed all fan leaves and any lead with a visible stalk. I’ll dry them for 10-14 days, my RH stays roughly between 55-60 and the temperature fluctuates between 19-24*c weather dependent. just about done with the 2nd week of flower and I couldn't be any happier. its later in the grow than planned but I need to get this girl into a 7 gallon pot ASAP SUCCESS NUTRIENTS is amazing so far.
