All 3 plants showing slight stress which I believe is from the strong 600w HPS light. Nothing of concern, however not a lot I can do as light is already as full height, however Will Increase air flow more upward. Day 44 Frost has arrived. Bud sites really started to fill out now. Drinking 3L every 1.5 days. Last feed was no grow as wanna cut back on N, and a 50% feed of other nutrients to reduce nute burn. Very happy with progress so far. Day 46 Increased bloom dose, and cut back on all other nutes. Very happy so far.

Pretty quiet week this week. Got her switched to flushing mode and am just sitting back and watching the trichomes finish. Over the last 7-10 days have seen them for from 50/50 to 90/10 if not 95/5 (cloudy/clear) and should start seeing some reds in next day or so. Don't mind at all if she flushes longer than a week, good to get all the salts out and whatnot. Have noticed an even further deepening of the purple on the buds and sugar leaves. She's gonna be quite the harvest! Time to prqctic our patience....

Well we finally reached the end. The last week was more cruise control. Just trying to remove the big fan leaves that's blocking any flowers. The trichomes looking kinda ready but still acceptable. During the last few days I maintained a daytime Humidity of around 60 and nighttime of 55. Temperatures are between 73 degrees and 67 degrees. Two days before chop they got 48 hrs of dark and 3 days of no water to add to the stress. After the 48hrs darkness all the ladies Came out extra frosty. Loving the change of hues on the blue gelato. The vanilla Kush is very oily and very very strong smell. Not a strong smell coming off the OrangeGelato though. The green gelato has a creamy smell.

Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. We’re already working on solutions, including an AC and new placement strategies, which I’ll cover in more detail on YouTube. ⸻ 📸 The Beauty Side Even with this challenge, the girls are stunning: • Massive colas held up by yo-yos. • Sparkling trichome close-ups showing the magic of Week 6. • Heavy branches bending under the weight of their own production. I started flushing (RO water) a little earlier than I wanted. My concern is around the limbs/branches holding up during too many more water changes. The plant yoyos work fine, but I have to remove them to change the water, then they fall over (some hard) with the branch close to snapping.

things are still getting thicker things are getting near a finish just watered with cal-mag and alaska fish fertilizer going to be feeding two more weeks or so then start the flushing after the 9 weeks of flower

I did some defoliation and low stress trading. Tangie really liked it.

Day 43 Watered them with feeding but a bit less than in Chart. Ppm is still high but because I got bio-fertilizer I think it should be okay 👍🏽. I also set the light from stage 7 to stage 9 so far the plants seem to like it. Will give an update on day 45. Day 50 Trying to fix the overfeeding. looked good Day 53 Still a bit overfed. Reducing the feed. I’m trying water without minerals next and will see how it is going.
