Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot. I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing. The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.

End of week 1. All 3 plants have their true leaves. The stems seem to be developing nicely but I was hoping for more leaf development. I still need to create more humidity. My exhaust fan still vents too much of it. I added a second camera and I hope to start adding some time lapse videos. Overall a good week! Still trying to learn my environment and tweak where I can!

Por lejos este ha sido mi mejor cultivo hasta ahora, han sido los cogollos más grandes, densos y llenos de tricomas que he cultivado, comparado con el cultivo anterior en el que usé el mismo tipo de planta, está vez fue muy superior. Los motivos de la mejora pueden ser varios, incluidos más luz, ya que en el cultivo anterior solo tuve 480w, ahora fueron 720w, también usé tutores y palitos de madera para crear una estructura firme en algunas plantas, y fueron estás mismas las que tuvieron los cogollos más grandes, así que lo usaré en todas las plantas del siguiente cultivo. Además el tiempo de cultivo se redujo de 4 meses a 3 meses y medio, aprox. Ahora solo queda esperar unas 2 semanas para el secado y ver cuánto fue la cosecha total en gramos secos, la anterior fue de 635 gramos secos, está yo creo que por lo menos rondará los 700 gramos secos, incluso puede que me sorprenda y sea mucho más.

10.02 • watered all plants with 0.8L 12.02 • watered all plants with 0.8L 14.02 • watered all plants with 1L 14.02 • i flushed the yellowing Black Domina with clear water with EC of 0.8 and checked the EC of the drain, it was 1.8...so i assume EC in the pot was like 2+, perhaps it was too high and nutrients had a lockout....PH was perfect (6.8)....perhaps the cause of yellowing was a lockout or N deficency...i have no clue... 16.02 • 3 of 5 White Ice are turning red/brownish...must be their genetics...

Set up the tent cam to take a picture every 5 minutes during lights on so I can try and make a cool timelapse. I fed them kinda lightly and I think my EC might be a little low and thats why they're so light colored; they're hungry. I also had the light on 3 but now its on 2. Its sitting pretty high above them so I don't think it should be burning them. They show no signs of stretching however so they're definitely not getting too-little light at least.

9-10-2025 . je commence mon rincage aujourdhui,le 9-10-2025. je prévoit de coupe rla plante en pot le 18 octobre. je surveilles les trichomes avec le microscope. il ya eut de tres grosses rafales de vent dû à la tempête... des rafales de 70,80 kmh.. une petite branche a cassé sur celle en pot. j ai coupé cette branche et nettoyé les buds pour les faire sécher... l'autre plante en pleine terre, une gross ebranche à cassé, mais hereusement pas totalement cassée... la seve passe encore dedans. les feuilles et buds ont l'air bien. pas fané ni rien. donc le 18 octobre je serai à la 8 eme semaine de floraison pour celle en pot. celle en terre à 2 semaines de retard comparé à celle en pot... je sais que c'est pas top de filmer quand il fait noir, mais c'est + impressionnant. ;-)

We definitely had the lesson of over waterring, too much love seems like. But think we recovered and on the right track. Waterring every 2 days now, when moist deeper but closer to 50% dry. Started adding maybe 1/4 dose of grow nutrients, think will include the rest of the Trio this week starting at perhaps 1/4 rate? Plan is to move to 1 gal fabric pots when they are a bit bigger in a week or two hopefully.

That's what comes to mind every time I check out my grow space and see such beautiful plants growing especially my C4 Auto from fastbuds she coming along so beautifully it brings joy to my heart all I do is give her light and bat turd water mix and raw bat turd and let her take off I planted her sister on the outdoors to see the difference between the two indoor is looking a lot better to me .
