First week of flowering. Girls are super happy. And drink a lot. I very much prefer the lower plant count with 8 plants. And I’m probably not going to go back to more than 9 plants. Perhaps will even try 6 or 7. 12 or 16 was a bit of overkill. Maybe with super short veg it has its place. 26.01 first day of flower.

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. Plants have once again almost doubled in size…almost. I cannot stop them from growing out of control and they are suppose to at least double once flower is initiated. So, this week I will completely defoliate all the big fan leaves and after 7 days healing switch to flower. I have never completely defoliated my plants, but I’m open to new things. Usually I defoliate and lollipop at the 3rd week of flower. Until then I leave them alone with little stress. All in all, I want a full net but also an easier time during harvest so I’m going to remove all the big fan leave’s multiple times this run. Lights are still on 40% and will gradually get to 75% by week one of flower. All my co2 tanks will be filled this week. Tento týden hnojivo jen málo.. Ec 1.0 a pH střídám na 6.2-6.5.. u dvou kytek se mi hromadilo ec tak jsem je prolil znovu a vše v pořádku 😄.. Prorůstá to a holky vypadají skvěle.. líbí se mi to.. Struktura bude asi kompaktní a palice tvrdé. Těším se na další týden.. měnit zatím nic nebudu.

Well I gave her some CalMag and potassium. She’s doing alright.

Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

Week6 today an not impressed but there’s still time, slightly over fed but pushed back on EC to 1.7 run off 1.8 Ph 5.8 run off 6 VPD close to in range just waiting for the new dehumidifier to turn up today. There a little behind but I’m guessing they will catch up 3 weeks to go. Smelling strong really strong for the stage there at. I do see the benefits to day 21 heavy fan leave strip. But never done it at day 42. What’s people’s thoughts around day 42 fan leave strip? I know there’s a lot of nitrogen stored in them fan leaves as I pushed the EC. Now I’m thinking to strip for better penetration and lower the stored nitrogen to help the finish better.. Hit me up with advice around day 42 strip Cheers ok

9/30/18. She still looks great. No burn and no deficiencies so far. I fed her a liter and a half . The pot is now heavy but not totally soaked. I did not water to runoff but the lower portion of the pot is wet. I don't like soaking the pots because the bottoms take ay too long to totally dry and I have had issues watering schedules. 10/5/18 Still doing perfect with minimal attention. Bumped up the amount of Grow Big last feeding with no ill effect. Looking ahead and having weeks before the auto is done I didn't know how to face the upcoming issue of vertical space. Shes too big to LST and I did not want to top her because shes doing incredibly well and want to see what she will produce. I rigged up a scrog contained within the bucket. I did a mod years ago to a smoker which gave me the idea in the middle of the night. I might change out the screen itself since it was just what I had on hand but will see how it works.. The openings are 2.5" so it should suit my needs. I have it set at 8 inches above soil but it is fully adjustable up and down by the nuts on the threaded rod. I plan on keeping the main stem under the screen to induce the plant to keep producing shoots and fill the area. Im pretty excited about trying this and Stay Tuned.
