Aug 11 - The Flowering cycle of this Durban Poison allows this strain to fit right-in the Timeline of the 3 other strains in the tent. - D.P. Seed only got wet this morning -No, its not going in the 5 gallon pot in the picture. If its Durban Poison I’m growing, it’s going in a bigger pot! Especially when the Congo is in a 15 gallon pot… looking right at it. 12th - seed shell has split and a flash of white can be seen, now its in a paper towel 6a.m. 13th - @ dinner time I put the Seedling directly into the Soil of the big Pot: (15g) - I used the trail that water leaves, and a Label to identify ground zero. “X” was the target… I settled for a little to the side, with LST coming - first time I had tried taking a seed directly from a cup of water and placing and keeping it, in a moist towel. 18hrs later, there was a beauty seed and root. Easy stuff, keep towel dark/ moist ! Germination week begins ! 15th - fed / moistened the critter again this morning. Hoping it breaks ground later today - dUrban broke ground today right around Dinner time, so thats Two Days since planting the germinated seed. Super happy about this one 17th, - Definite development of the plant here. Moisture watch big time. Big POT is Thirsty - moving to a 2 cup approach to watering when the lite comes on. First couple waterings at 2 cups and waiting… Taking the Increment approach while watching how dry/wet the soil is. Its a big Pot; 3 cup, 4 cup etc then litres and gallons. - Foliar Spray @ Lites-out 18th - 2 cups of day-old water circled around (d)P. A cycle of increasing volumes begins this morning. ie dark circle in the pictures - this Super Soil seems to provide an accurate “shadow”to indicate levels of water/moisture. Building a Column of water for the roots to work with. As volumes get bigger so do the circles

Aug 20th Aug 22nd - fed (d)P 3 cups of water in the a.m. Aug 23 - foliar spray at lights-out - macro shots of (d)P tonight Aug 24th - foliar spray applied at Lites/out - bumped the water volume up a bit re: 15 gallon pot and fed her 5 cups, a day early - leaf-building is taking off - treating entire soil surface with a light dose of Kelp Meal, and scratching it in (25%) Aug 25th - moisture check of the soil shows … - temperature gun arrived today. Im going to dial in the lamp height based on the room temp and the Top Leaf temperature. Should always be at least 1.5 degree cooler than ~ room temp.

August 27th - fed (d)P a half day early because she was just a touch too dry. Volume is up to 1.5 L in the 15 gal pot - 4th pair of leaves is being made - next watering up to 2.5L then its a 4-5 day wait to dry, and the big small feed cycle begins. Going forward, its a big Pot and I have to be direct with bigger feedings and allowing to the soil to dry adequately. I WANT A HUGE ROOT SYSTEM - foliar fed as per norm; FYI, if not listed, its a daily application at lites-out, or upon illumination, until plant is well into VEG. (feeds plant through leaves / stomata) while the plant is focusing NRG on the roots) Aug 28th - cut off the cotyledon and serrated leaf. 29th - surface looks dry 2 days in, but the moisture probe says its wet underneath, makes that extra day+ much easier to watch - nutrients being introduced Aug 31 - feeding tonight = 4 days since… soil was moist yesterday; 2.5L - Molasses in the dinner pail for the first time =tds 927ppm Sept 1 - topped (d)P in the morning ! Sept 2nd - last day of week 2 - amending the soil tonight with a cap of some Sheep-manure compost, Kelp Meal, Perlite with a bit of Epsom Salts and some real dirt. Treating all 4 plants with ~ 1” or so each.

Sept 3rd - 4 days since last feed; @ 50% tonight = 1.25L (next is 3L in 2 days. Volume of big feed still climbs. The cycle begins; big feed & wait 4 days: then its 50% of big feed and wait 2 days. Repeat with big feed… - took Fan leaves from btm branch, stems get secured tonight -nutes get bumped-up Sept 5th, - branches secured as the plant looks really stable and strong - leaving two nodes, on each branch, upper & Lower - next meal ingredients above Sept 6 a.m. - fed 3 litres of nutes/water, added 1 litre H2O to mix, to reduce tds (4L total)

Sept 10th, - 1/2 volume H2O / Molasses tonight = 1.75L - final topping to be carried out and the branches will be secured tonight LST - topping the soil-up in this planter with bio terra plus. It really settled. 12th, - pinned down some of the branches. This Lady looks like she has gained some serious Traction with new Tires, as there are new shoots popping all over. - soil moisture check tonight, should be big feeding ** delayed till 13th 14th - fed (d)Poison 4.5L nutes/h20 - trimmed 4 more Fan leaves from this 16 cola project. Its almost complete and running on its own - still working in the larger fed volumes (intermittent) to help assist the root development in a 60L pot

Go (d)Urban - this has been a HUGE WEEK for the plant. Check the size diff from the 17th ha! And I had just de-Fan leafed it then. Bare bones. Lol 6 days later Sept 23, last day of week 5

Sept 24th - carried out some LST on the (d)P this morning. Looking pretty darn healthy. Bigger than Natural Mystic and a week behind. This plant really established itself last week - possible 1/2 volume feed tonight 2.75L h2o/molasses ***Oct 8 is Lights-out. Plants go into the dark for 36 hours*** (northern lights finish is going to take toooo long, enough. Into the 2’ tent. small photoperiod GMG to take its place) 25th a.m. - fed half volume h2o/molasses - this plant has opened up and is responding to something -applied some fresh LST anchors, go 26th - carried out a good LST session to finish yesterdays organizing. Looking real sharp! 27th - plant looks ready for a big feed tonight, if the soil allows; 6.5L - with a flowering deadline approaching (Oct 8 or b4) its great that I’m able to get some bigger nutrient volumes into the mix. Working my way towards one 2 gallon feed before lites-out if everything lines-up. - photo uploaded of repair site from first topping. (Uploaded discovery photo as well) Sept 29th a.m. - waited till the Pot was actually lighter (extra 2 days) & fed (d)P 6.5L h2o / nutes - little clean-up on the LST, she is sharp looking and getting round - seeing the pot actually lighter confirms we are not drowning the plant and confirms we are working near the dry side. - 15 gallon pot stays right where it was, and looks like its gonna NEED THE SPACE 30th - last day week 6 - sister plants have indicated a build-up of Salts (n things) is happening in the Soil and I will be flushing the plant tonight as a bit of preventative Maintenance, ahead of any build-up issues going into Flower. - she looks strong and ready. Lites-out is a week away - Foliar misting has been reduced to ~ Twice a week - Flush and some Molasses are going to set this one in motion

Oct 1 - plant was flushed tonight with 25 gallons of water, more of a precaution, and it was a first, mid-grow flush Oct 4th - top-dressed soil with Kelp Meal, scratched it in; 1/tsp per Gallon of soil - foliar spray (mist) every 3rd day for now. In flower, foliar applications become weekly events, until the 3rd week of flower, then it's stops - next meal planned for is 7.6L / 2 gallons. That is the planned max for the grow Oct 5th - air flow between the Pots was Non-existent… so I gave them a little room to assist with the drying times. 6th - plant was fed 7L 7th - last day of the week.

Oct 23rd - adding Kelp Meal to the surface and scratching it in; 5 tbsp ahead of this weeks next feed - last fed on the 20th, soil moisture will dictate when next half-feed happens 24th p.m. - (d)Urban was bone-dry so I fed it a good sized portion; 5.5L @ 90% nutes 27th - tent has become much more manageable with the ejection of the Green Mountain Grape, who as it turned out, was a Male plant. - lowered the Humidity as a lower value is being established - targeting 45-50 rh% 29th - 1/2 feeding time tonight as this plant has a real 5 day thirst; 2.75L full nutes + molasses (tds tba)

I do not believe this is an Insect problem. Can anyone recognize what this problem is on the select leaves from the durban poison & natural mystic The last image shows the back-side of a leaf, that looks strange !! ?? Thanks in advance and for reading my question

I would of guessed some kind of pest though im not seeing any proper damaged leafs what i personally think has happend if you have fresh air intakes then most probably some kind of insect has got in tried to survive and died off either that or it could be a bit of feed thats go on the leaf in watering It could be a ph imbalance i would check your soil ph and see. If you see damage on the under side of leaves this often indicates some kind of pest so keep an eye on all the stems see if you can catch one or have a brush of the top soil and see if anything jumps about :) best of luck anyway my friend im sure its most probably dead by now lol

Nov 13th - plant is strong and growing steadily. Water / Nutes tomorrow evening (14th) - scrog arrives Mon-Wed and will be applied across the grow accordingly; (d)Urban Poison seems to be the most active with a solid boost from the Nat Mystic this weekend Nov 14th - worked on the LST and managed to put a smile on her face - fully feed; 5.5L Nov 15th - applied the SCROG netting to help keep the leaf / room temps in order. And height i guess, 20cm is a nice round # Nov 19th - last day of week 14 - SCROG net is amazing at how uniform of an environment it has created. Trajectories can be seen and planning the grow is a bunch of tiny steps. Tuck - Shift - sideways & just a little that-way… lites-out, more later - full meal tonight; 5.5L w Molasses

Nov 20th - dropped the room temp a bit re: leaf temp and light height (which is @ max) good-bye CMH Nov 22nd - I’d be lying if the constant heat stress from the CMH lamp , was not partly responsible for the really whispy and fine ends to the branches of all three plants under this light. To keep the top leaves cooler than the room, has me with the light pinned to the ceiling already, with more than enough breezes blowing in/out. All flows have been tweeked and altered; this light has to go. I have no room to grow in this 6’+ tent with 315w cmh providing nrg. - heading back towards new (cooler) LED technology. Nov 25th - fed 3.5L H2o / nutes Nov 26th, - Last day of the week

Nov 27th - smaller meals with a shorter feeding cycle are the first actions. - wondering if the Green Mountain Grape seedling that I grew in this tent, and that turned-out to be a Male… has Interfered with these plants life cycle. Now that I think of it… Nothing has really changed in this Tent since that Plant was ejected… Nov 29th - 3L meal tonight, posted a few fresh images of the Bud status as this Pause in growth is looked into. - posted a few bud images to try and help assess what is happening to the plants in this tent... stalled-growth appears to be the issue. It seems some new white pistils are appearing after a long dead period. - still unsure of what is growing on the leaves of this plant. it is also growing on the Nat Mystic as well. It is highlighted in the images... Nov 30th -added kelp meal; 5 tbsp, ahead of 3.5L feed tonight - LED light source brought into play (Phlizon FD4000) - re-applied the Scrog net, (There may be company coming) Dec 3rd - last day of week 16… ( with a few issues, things are looking up ) - real significant growth on each of the existing bud sites !! They remain small but have shown a complete re-newed effort to grow. And there are obvious Purple leaves. Pictures posted shortly, yowza - fed ea plant 3L of h2o/nutes as above.

Dec 4th - have made room for a couple of newbies in the tent, now that I know there will be limited new growth from existing plants. Humidifier centred, only missing a couple 5 week olds. They show-up in the tent a little later tonight - dinner tomorrow evening; 3L posted above Dec 5th - fed dinner - liking all of the purple that is definitely happening across the plant Dec 7th - visual confirmation that having a new light source has certainly been behind the recent rally of original plants in the tent. And it certainly has launched PTK and Black Willie into flower mode Dec 8th - adding a couple of inches of “Living Soil” as a soil amendment to all plants in the tent. Ingredients are all Organic and beneficial components. Picture posted of ingredients - photo posted that shows a kind-of “uniform” recovery for the plant -poked most of the buds back under the scrog, as needed Dec 10th - last day of week 17 *** for anybody just joining this tent, there had been a period when things just stopped progressing, for 5-6 weeks. A change in lights to LED and some of meal dynamics and routines, plus a boost via soil amendment… have seen the 3 veterans and the 2 newbies get really busy again *** that is what has been running in the background Thanks to the Guru’s n Grand Masters for their input. I seem to be coming out of this dive with quite a bit of life still happening

Working on a couple of deficiencies; potassium / phosphorous, while I have some time left. Will scope a bud tonight to see where the trichomes are - scratched 3/4 tsp of Blood Meal into the soil surface, ahead of Dinner (15 gal pot) -hoping to see a bit more green by Monday on our (d)Urban Poison Dec 17 - last day week 18

Dec 18th - in the pursuit of the answer to the yellow/green leaves, a couple of fellow growers have helped pin the possible reason down to a P and a K deficiency. A booster product featuring both of these elements was added to the menu; OVERDRIVE A soil pH-survey was completed and an addition of Dolomite Lime was added to the pots soil for stability and prevention of low pH. I have also raised the target pH of nutrients Up into a region with better nutrient uptake ~ 6.3 new target vs 6.0 Dec 20th - lets just say I am blown away by the return of a Darker Green to this plants Foliage. It is not complete, but it has shifted. - now I am dealing with liquid volumes and dialing them back a bit. As usual I desire and target a drier environment and have let this one slide a bit I fear. re: Congo, more so than (d)Urban Dec 22nd - moisture and pH checks tonight; dinner pending; Nope Dec 24th - last day week 19

January 1st - dinner tonight; 3.5L - soil pH was low in spots 3 spots ~ 5.0 and 7.1 for the rest of the way pit. Dinner served at a pH of 6.7 Jan 2nd - trichome shots tonight just to be safe, re: Where am I in this grow cycle? - leaves are looking B E A T and the buds are Stinky n Sticky Jan 3rd - flushing (d)Urban Poison tonight. It’s time to get her ready for the final sprint. Delay or no delay from the light/heat debacle, we get a good look tonight - flush went well ~ 30 gallons got the job done and (d)B moved into the small tent. She looks great, NO Amber showing. Scope later tonight - used General Hydroponics FloraKleen to assist in the Flush @ 1.25ml/L or 25ml/5gal Jan 4th - this plant is ready for the next stage, her amber trichomes look a bit weathered, but there is still patches of clear throughout the grow. But its time. - lights are Officially off @ 22:00, see you in 48-72 hrs for a few Pictures and a Harvest. (See you Friday some time: ~ 60 hrs from now) Jan 7th ** last day week 21 - a photo-shoot is planned for Noon, thats when my (d)URBAN POISON comes out of the dark after 60hrs. And gets Harvested - the buds look spectacular and could be challenged with a bit more time under the lights… but it has overcome a couple of tough situations that I did not readily have answers for. And the fan leaves look truly beat-up… So its kind of a Salvage harvest before anything gets away ! And I am so happy that she responded to my actions over the last month or so, with a Big show of Colour ! -big shout-out to the fellow growers who helped me along the way. How do you say “solidarity”, this place rock’s - 21 weeks of growing; 4-5 weeks of halted growth because a hot Light that got moved too far away, p & k deficiencies, grower idea’s etc etc and she survived hahaha. - from a Happy Humble grower we will see where this takes us

Jan 7th, Growing this Landrace Sativa has taken 3 years, with theft and pollen contamination preventing 2 previous grows. So I brought it indoors. Even then it was an experiment in Mainlining and I know it had an impact on the grow, but what a gem this strain is. It carries a sweet smell that just stops you. Having undergone a lengthy P & K deficiency of sorts, with a wildly drifting soil pH, the fact it was able to be steered back into forward has been a journey of sorts. (whichbisfrickingawesome) The grow was interrupted with a truly neutral period of 4-5 weeks, as I struggled with a light, that did not fit my surroundings. Communications within this community are amazing, as there are some pretty cool growers who know their shit, and have been vocal in helping turn things around. And buying a soil pH meter … Chopped, hung in a 2’ tent @ 20c, 45-50 rh with a smaller fan pushing some air, indirectly into the tent. There are not many fan leaves, so I hope to have as long a hanging as possible before the branch snaps. Smoke report for sure, clipping a sample for Trichome shot. Did not anticipate Purple Buds… Later, downloading some crazy shots. I’ll post them soon Jan 9th humidity and temp are steady at 18.5c and 50-55% rh. You can smell the moisture leaving the plant, all seems good 12th, a couple branches snapped but the tent still smells damp/ no pot smells really. Lowest air movement setting now, give it a bit more time before making a move to Trim/Jars. The Room smells damp yet but Buds up close smell beautifully sweet. Not able to command the tents bouquet... they hang longer. 13th, - dry enough to trim and jar. Lowest temp hang, shifted humidity twice. Let the cure begin later 2day
