We’ve entered week eight, one of the final weeks, since the genetics I chose are listed as **8–9 weeks from seed to harvest**. I hope we’re close to the end, because the plants are becoming more and more stressed and I still can’t understand what the problem is. It almost seems like some kind of nutrient uptake lockout. For now, the maturation of the flowers doesn’t seem to be compromised, and the trichomes are starting to develop a nice color, although the buds still look a bit sparse. As with last week, Diesel is holding up well, even though she is also starting to show some leaf issues. I just hope this is due to the flowering stage. The others, however, seem to be getting worse, especially Sunset. Wedding Cake is maturing well, although the spots keep reappearing and some leaves are starting to yellow there too. Sunset, on the other hand, seems to have slowed down in maturation, and the leaves are getting worse and worse. I’m limiting defoliation because I don’t want to add more stress to a plant that is already suffering quite a lot.

My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Unserer Lang Tall Sally geht es (scheint's) immer noch gut. Die Blüten wachsen, die Blätter sind nach wie vor schön gleichmäßig grün und das Terpen glänzt nur so zwischen den Blüten. Der Geruch ist längst nicht so intensiv wie ich befürchtet hatte. Mittlerweile habe ich die Kola des Haupttriebs mit zwei "Pflanzen-JoJos" stabilisiert, da sie der Pflanze zu schwer zu werden drohte. Erst hatte ich diesen Dingern nicht getraut aber sie halten die Pflanze gut, die trotzdem noch Spiel zum Tanzen hat. Ich wollte keinen Bambusstab o. Ä. in den Boden stecken, da ich befürchtete, ihre Wurzeln zu beschädigen. Sie muss ihre 1,75m in einem Topf versorgen und stabilisieren, der gerade mal 8 Liter Volumen hat. Da dürfte ihr jede Wurzel wichtig sein. ;-) Da die Tangerine Dream Auto eigentlich ein Schnell-Blüher sein soll, sind 12 Wochen schon recht lang. Aber ich habe trotzdem nicht den Eindruck, dass sie schon erntereif ist. Die Trichomen sehen doch noch überwiegend klar aus. Allerdings brauche ich auch eine bessere Lupe. ;-)

It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.

Gorilla Glue has been growing good. I topped her today. I also turned down the G300W light a little. I removed the 1st, and 2nd nodes on her. Trying something a little different. Everything is looking good to go.
