Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Got a little over 40 days left until it’s harvest time. 42 to be exact! But I’ll catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

Day 85. Few days ago I trimmed most leafy Northern Lights and she loved it ! So tomorrow two most mature Alaskan Diesels go to chop room. All other plants will get defoliation too, will have space to reach all plants. Third Alaskan Diesel is catching, but he is a week behind. Green Cracks will fall in 2-3 weeks, Northern needs at least 4 .... Will move my Bruce Banner's to main tent. I still feed Northern , but all other plants are on pure water. Day 86. Rearranged all girls, trimmed them heavy, gave new positions. One Northern lights is still in dark part of tent, I think I need 7-10 days til last Alaskan Diesel will mature and it will be only 8 girls left. Brought other diaries girls to main tent and added Mars Hydro SP150 as supplemental side lightning ... They miss height a lot compaired to older plants, so I hope it will help a bit . Never used lights that way before ... Happy Growing !!!

The Plant is getting very bushy and I am thinking of dedefoliating the plant but I am unsure because of it being an Autoflower in the early stages.

Week 8 begins with lots of buds. I let them be for now and let the buds grow. Can't imagine that they will only have about 27 days left.. Lets see if I let them live a little longer, since they were late flowering on week 6 rather than week 5... They all look amazing in the middle of week 8... Buds all over - everywhere you look :) And they keep on getting taller every day... The tallest one is now about 65cm.

Le piante hanno qualche carenza, ho provato a rimediare con il thè organico e con il concime di copertura anche questo organico, ma sembrano non bastare. Questa settimana ho usato dei concimi organo-minerali per avere un effetto più efficace... Si spera🤞. Comunque, tralasciando qualche foglia ingiallita, i fiori si stanno sviluppando bene e hanno un profumo davvero ottimo!

Great start to week two of flower! Started with my weekly water change (every Monday) and some maintenance on the plants. I did a larger defoliated and lollipopping to just about everything under the SCROG net, hoping to maximize yield. Room conditions are awesome, about 80 degrees with ~60% humidity, real happy with VPD. With these ideal conditions, I've been pushing nutrient levels pretty high with an EC of ~3.2 - 3.3. Also got about 7 inches of growth in plants, still have this whole week to stretch.

Girl is a week old today. She is looking great. She popped out of the ground grow almost an inch and already had the first set of serrated leaves in the 1st 24 hrs above ground.

21/11/24 - Week 4 of flower. I'm giving the ladies 600w at 80cm distance. I'm also Struggling with the temps because of the winter. During lights on temps are between 26 & 28 degrees celsius, with lights off i try to keep the temp steady at 24 25 degrees celcius.
