Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! We are in flower ! Trainwreck is doing great, the defoliation delivered the shape I wanted like always, simple training but can change the plant shape a lot. The flower stretch went super well, I think she will stretch a bit more but should be almost done. I cleaned the lower branches completely to avoid any problems down below, better airflow and less risk for Pm etc. Still not using any nutrients, all living soil from Sonnenerde.

Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99 08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots. [General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]

Second week of flower and my ladys have all grown rapidly in the last week bud seem to be blooming already at a decent size also main stem has gone quite thick.

I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

420Fastbuds Apricot Auto/Week 4 What up everyone. Hope all are well. Weekly update on these two gorgeous girls. This past week has been fun doing a major defoliation taking off most the bigger fan leafs. Hard to tell a few days later I took anything off. Which is amazing they never skipped a beat. No big issue's and since sprouted have grown phenomenal being relatively easy. All in all Happy Growing.

In week 12 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX-tent is unfortunately still VERY HIGH (maximum of 73%). The combination of big buds and high humidity is BAD...I fear bud-rot. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE! They all have a healthy green color and produce buds all over. All branches have formed HUGE colas at this point...its AMAZING to see how big the AK-47 can get. Every watering I add MILLS-nutrients following the feeding schedule of Mills from their website and the plants LOVE IT. The trichome production is INSANE, they are FROSTY AS HELL NOW! 😎 I cant wait to try this amazing smelling strain and see how good it works against my chronic back pain. The VERY STRONG aroma reminds me of Sandalwood end is THICK and HEAVY at this stage of flowering. The two SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an EXCELLENT job until now, the spectrum is PERFECT for cannabis. Both LEDs are dimmed to 100% now in week 8 of flowering, because FULL-POWER mode is needed for abundant flower production.I LOVE THOSE LEDs 😍 and I can only strongly recommend to every grower to give them a try!

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already.
