Fin de la semana 5, entrando a la semana 6, fue increíble la forma en que crecieron estas señoritas, sin duda haber renovado la bomba de CO2, por una nueva, completamente hecha a mano y casera (1,5 litros de agua tibia, 500 gr. de azúcar blanca granulada y 15 gr. de levadura fresca, en una botella de refresco, con un hoyo en la tapa), hizo que la fotosíntesis fuese mas apresurada, ideal para las plantas de tipo autoflorecientes, el volumen de crecimiento fue aproximadamente de un 45% y logro que ya empezaran a aparecer los primeros pistilos, estoy muy emocionado como han respondido todos los componentes agregados en este cultivo, desde el sustrato de Canna Terra Proffesional, hasta los nutrientes Top Crop, ademas de mencionar a las semillas Fast Buds y las semillas a granel de Bocanda Growshop en Temuco, Chile. Una vez dicho eso, las plantas entraron al quirófano para hacerles su única defoliación pesada entrando establemente en floración, para ello, elimine las hojas más grandes y los micro-tallos que no alcanzaron a entrar en flora esta semana, dejando a los más aptos y fuertes, para su engorde con nutrientes orgánicos (Top Bud y Top Candy). El sustrato de PRO-MIX HP se encuentra esponjoso al tacto a pesar de que está seca la parte superior Riego 1 Litro H20 + Wholly Base 1,25 ml/l + Solid Green 0,5 ml/l + Rise Up 1 ml/l de Gen1:11 - pH 6,23 TDS 660 PPMs Día 22 (07/02) Vamos a probar a hacer este ciclo con LST Día 23 (08/02) A +24 horas la planta ha reaccionado muy bien al LST. Se han estirado las ramas inferiores y la rama apical se sigue estirando Día 25 (10/02) Sigo con ajustes de LST para abrir la canopia. La planta está reaccionando con mucho vigor 😍💥 Día 26 (11/02). Riego 1 Litro H20 + Wholly Base 1,5 ml/l + Solid Green 0,75 ml/l + Rise Up 1,25 ml/l de Gen1:11 TDS 780 PPMs - pH 6,36 (mínimo ajuste con pH+ para subirlo desde 6,2) La planta avanza vigorosa. So, I’m excited. New lights today. Horticultural grow lights quantum boards built for me by growerslights.com I don’t have to time or knowledge to build one but I wanted one. Growerslights builds and tests for you for $50. Money well spent. This light is the shit. Full stop. So bright, so efficient. I’m getting a lot more light for 80w less per hour and that’s on full power. I’m going to start at 1/3 and slide up a little over the next few days. It’s the hlg-650h ok commercial done. I cannot wait to do a full grow under this monster. As far as the current plants. They’ll do their last week and a half under it. I’ll move the mars hydros to a small cloner I got. Flushing now until harvest on the weekend of the 30th-31st

Day 22 (2020-05-31): Did some additional LST and defoliation. For LST I used wire hooks pushed into the soil to encourage sideways growth of the new branches. The G14 looks a lot bushier but it did not have as many large leaves that needs to be removed. Also, due to it's mutant nature, it started with two main branches. Maybe I should have pinched one back, but it seems very healthy so far. Roots are poking out the bottom of both pots. Not sure if this is bad or not. It did not happen in my previous grow but was using 3 gal instead of 2 gal fabric pots. Day 23 (2020-06-01): Investigated the mesh cup filter I am using with the Blumats. Turns out I had it backwards and it had some slimy feeling film inside. Not sure if that is contributing to the PH rise when water sits in the tubing, but I cleaned it out and swapped it the right way. Made some small LST adjustments. Day 24 (2020-06-02): Removed a couple of blocking leaves, made some slight LST tweaks to even things out. One of the Blumats seemed like it was not dripping but bleeding the line caused it to kick in. Must have still had some residual air in the system from yesterday's filter adjustment. PH is still a bit higher coming out of the line, but is much improved. Will continue to monitor. If it stays high may try removing the filter altogether to eliminate that possibility. Day 25 (2020-06-03): Changed the reservoir out. PH was high, but still in range but the water was cloudy and had a pretty rotten smell. Going to check PH and smell daily and see if I can get a handle on what is happening. Maybe I just need to have a regular changing schedule. Day 26 (2020-06-04): PH of reservoir at 5.6. Day 27 (2020-06-05): PH of reservoir at 5.7. DId some LST adjustments and removed a few larger leaves. Noticed some light discoloration spots on a couple of the older leaves. Moved lights a bit closer (21") Day 28 (2020-06-06): Noticed some yellowing on the tips of some of the new growth. I checked the lights and they had been way closer than I thought. Moved to correct distance to see if it may have been early signs of light burn. PH of reservoir is at 6.2. Most likely will change out tomorrow. I also noticed today a bit of white fuzz mold growing on the outside of the pots and even a little bit on the surface of the coco. I am going to turn off the humidifier for a few days and get some 3% H2O2 to wipe down the outside of the pots.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Hi Cannafam, its all about the microbes! Brewed a tea for 24hrs, of the soil activator 2.6g, fresh organic kefir 100g, EM1 4ml, aquaponics microbes (fresh semi solid fish waste) 100g. and molasses at a rate of 20g per gal. or 5g per Litre. Once brewed add yucca at a rate of 1ml per gal, then use as a foliar spray and root drench. Just thinking I should have added some worm castings to the mix as well. That's next for next week I guess.

Week 9 is begonnen en ze gaat onverstoord verder.( ik maak een telfout 🤦‍♂️🏽 eigenlijk begint week 9 over 2 dagen 😆) Prachtige kleuren bladeren en de toppen worden dikker en dikker. Ze is eigenlijk te groot voor de tent, de hoofdtop staat 15 cm van de lamp verwijderd. Veel te dichtbij eigenlijk. Heb niet al te veel bladeren weggeknipt (defoliation). Minimaal. Ze drinkt wel zeer veel. Bijna anderhalf liter per dag. Laten we kijken hoe zij zich deze week weet te ontwikkelen. 🧐 Ik zal gedurende de week nog verse foto's updaten, dus hou het in de gaten. Aug 2: Mimosa Shot is hitting her stride now. She didn’t like the cooler temperatures as much as Sunday Punch EV, for example, but she’s loving this hot start to August. Aug 3: done with force flowering and will now just leave her in the yard. So, back up to 15.5 h of daylight here now. Still using far red light at dusk. Aug 6: Mimosa Shot has stretched again, likely mostly due to 3 days of hot weather.

Took them outside because it was a sunny week, looking good so far. I take them outside as much as I can because I'm still worried that the 10€ light bulb won't be enough powerful.
