Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). BAD APPLE WEEK 5 | DIRTY BIRD GENETICS

Ok so I’m not afraid to say 7.7oz shocked me on the wet weight, I had a goal of 1oz dry being a first time grower, factoring mistakes, this and that so I guess we’ll see if what comes as I read up to 75% in weight can be lost in drying and curing….so fingers crossed I hit my goal 🤞 I harvested based on the 1st photo, I cut a small piece of bud off the main cola at the bottom to really check it under a scope and saw red headed trichomes, so checked the lowest flower and had the same results (photo 1), this was after I’d asked a question earlier based on a photo I took on a leaf and was advised to check the buds instead…so thanks for that info there 👍 Also a big thanks for the comments the looks at this diary. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks and seeing how the rest of this little venture pans out…I guess we just have to stay tuned😊🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 12 Oct 2021: Harvested 16 Oct 2021: Plant seemed completely dry today which surprised me a little so I snapped stems and yus sir they were ready to be trimmed down….icky sticky, earthy, diesel, piney smells were the hints that were hitting me as I was trimming away, I have a lot of airy buds, which is on me! As a First time grower, until I actually got growing and started to understand the complexity and importance of keeping cannabis growing in stable conditions with par values on lights, feed schedules, trying to keep negative pressure in the tent with passive intake vents, adding lights, humidifier, dehumidifier, more fans…a learning experience indeed and not one I’ll be shying away from. Anyway there’s me blabbing on…..dry weight time 👀 38g/1.3oz and roughly 13g trim so I am extremely happy that even though I’ll probably lose about 8% of this during the cure, I think I made my 1oz goal of smokeable bud 🤘😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 A smoke report is due in 4 weeks when it’s had a bit of time to do what it needs to do!

Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

I don't know what's wrong with her, but she's suffering, I don't give her any nutrients anymore, only pure 6.3 ph water. Although the leaves are suffering, the flowers are really maturing well, I think she has about two weeks left until the finish, the smell it gives off is fabulous!!!! I can't wait to taste it, it's really very resinous, I have no doubt that it will be amazing:) good luck to everyone.:)

I went through and did a deep lollipop and defoliation because of what happens to Euphoria in my previous diary, I am not risking mould again!!! She is doing well! Her colours are coming through nicely now. Day 171 20/10/24 Sunday (End of week) Another feed to finish the week 💪 she is taking it like a champ. De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 after nutrients.

This little plant put out. Super strong blueberry/skunk smell. She is full of buds all the way down the stem. She stayed small. My doing, put her in a 3 gallon pot, if I used a bigger pot I would of had a bigger plant. None the less, she is pretty. Grew like a champ, fast to flower, and smell is on point. Her trichome changed super fast, in the morning there were a couple Amber's on the calix, 12 hours later there were calix full of Amber's, so it was like a snap of the fingure and she was done. Day57 of flower.

got bitten by a spider and realized i was always wondering what my spiritual animal was, and realized it was spiders after that awakening of asking mother natures help me and spiders made a blood pack and since then nature has been helping me out by protecting my plants, from thieves and bad rotten people. and nature gave me spiders to protect my children. one of my spiders thats protecting the rooibaard is called GREGGK.

Afghan Hash Plant, week 6 of flower. Another frosty strain, but not quite as frosty as the Mango Merengue but still beautiful. The Afghan Hash has a sweet citrus smell with an earthy smell. Not much to do other then water since they got their last bit of slow release nutrients acouple days ago which lasts 3 weeks.
