This week starts well, obviously some deficiencies can never be missing 🤣, slowly I hope to solve everything, as a first cultivation I'm super proud, I'm understanding more and more the ideal times and doses for my setup

7/2 Last week it was extremely hot (80's-90's) with cold nights. We had a severe thunderstorm last night and it's raining like crazy today. I didn't spend time in the garden as it was pouring. However I defoliated yesterday briefly. I had maybe a half dozen leaves yellow and die a couple days after the organicide application. They were mostly the largest oldest fan leaves most infected with pm. A couple smaller interior leaves yellowed and died as well but they were the leaves most infected. I assume that's normal. As I defoliated I noticed my first aphid of the season. I saw a few dead ones the organicide killed and a couple that were alive. Aphids aren't a big deal. They'll be evicted soon enough. I haven't seen one spot of pm though since the application. Maybe a little on a dead leaf but it seems to be working good. Didn't take pictures today but needed one to update the diary. Trying to upload videos but they take forever. 7/3 Ridiculously hot all last week. Extremely hot yesterday then a severe thunderstorm but it cleared to 90 degrees with 90%rh. This environment is a fungal nirvana. Still a slight smell from the organicide. I'm glad I used it though. I threw away some more leaves but this is the time that starts happening anyway. Before the stretch. With the ideal conditions I saw WPM rear it's head again. Only this time the organicide seemed to still have a residue. The PM only infected the super old biggest fan leaves and a few tiny tiny leaves on the very interior of the plant. I didn't know I had aphids but I've found a few dead on the underside of leaves I defoliated. So it seems to be working. My plants are growing towards the sun (partially due to my tarps which I need to be legal) which make airflow harder to maintain. My dad gave away my pallets this year. I had planned to put bags and supports on pallets with some sort of wheel so I could spin them. Oh well I'll do that next year in my new location. I have also found moth holes in couple leaves so BT it will still be needed. If videos didn't take so long to upload I would have a bunch. Happy growing. 7/5 Watered lightly (as it had been 90's) before feeding three gallons to the garden. Noticed some telltale leafhopper signs on a 9lb kush. The organicide seems to be doing a decent job of keeping PM at bay. The blueberry is now the worst it seems. I'm planning on another application before I try anything heavier. The fishy smell is now totally gone. Plants seem healthy and are a nice dark green. I have had some problems that have effected my ability to fully care for my girls. I have some defoliation I need to do. I also see moths sometimes in the morning plus the pm and the random munch. I guess that's to be expected outside but I need to get on top of this shit. I also have more LST I could be doing. 7/6 Rained all night and still off and on. Can't see any pm but I've found a few spots on the blueberry that could be septoria. I'm going to hit them either tonight or tomorrow with the organicide and if it doesn't work I may try a sulfer based fungacide. Took a few pictures. I need to defoliate as well. 7/7 Uploaded some duplicate pics accidentally. If I could've created the perfect environment for fungal infections I don't think I could've done better than yesterday. Hence the organicide. I was surprised it wasn't pronounced and only a little here and there. Also saw leaf hopper and pillar damage so hopefully this will straighten that out. Blueberry seems weak in it's stalk. I'm not sure if the wind is blowing it against that hard metal circle around it. It may have septoria. If it does I'll have to switch to something different or junk the plant. 7/8 This sucks. I can see signs of leaf septoria on the GDPs. This is definitely not a strain for the Maine climate. It's not resilient enough against diseases. This year has been particularly bad with 40 degree temp swings and rain then bright hot sun. I couldn't engineer better conditions. I appears senescence starts at the same time looking back over the past four years. However maybe that's just the life cycle of the earwigs. Oh yeah. I raked the inside of the grow bag with my hand and AT LEAST a half dozen earwigs came out RIGHT FROM THE SOIL IN THE BAG. I dealt with these prehistoric bastards last year and lost half my harvest. They eat other insects but the spread disease like crazy and they DO eat your plant while leaving behind the worst bacteria and plant disease. I have research to do. Like I said. This sucks. I'm changing locations next year but I need some help dealing with the septoria and the earwigs or I'll be fucked again. I defoliated anything that looked suspect. Still need to improve airflow.

Spider mites have taken over my plant. I've been taking leaves off and lost bud sites because of this issue. I'm broke til tomorrow so I can't buy any products. At this point I'm thinking of just throwing the plant out and starting fresh. Yes it's has come along way but damn the spider mites are worse than bed bugs at this point

They're packing on volume, I have noticed some of the hairs are turning brown and One of them is more of a sativa looking plant, while the other three are indica dominant. One in the back right of the tent has started to show some dark colours on the leaves closer to the buds, looks nice. 😅. Really enjoying growing these wonder woman plants

Hey yall, It's been a minute, I have been super busy out of town again. All is good though, the flowers are fattening up. Still not a fan of Beaver Seeds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BEAVER SEEDS, just to be clear. They don't respond, like super sativa club, lol. I email and contact their website, zero response. So pick a breeder you can trust and has open communication. Otherwise they are greedy and most likely have shitty genetics. I popped two feminized seeds, one was a runt from the start, she died when my Temps hit 90 Fahrenheit, which is absolutely 💯 bullshit. I use potassium silicate, frass, aloe and everything that should help with heat stress, so this one is on the breeder. Anyways, they hardly have many trichomes, despite my shit being dialed to the max, PPFD. VPD, water only soil with dry amendments and weekly compost tea applications. That always dumps trichomes for me. Genetics are 90 percent of the game, we can control up to 10 percent as the growers. Well you can see what I mean. Week 6 of flowering now, so yeah I missed a couple weeks, but you know how it is. Life is nuts and you have to work to pay those electric bills. I already popped new seeds from a much better breeder, I literally cannot wait to chop these girls to pieces, and making RSO out of the entire run, I ain't even smoking this shit. Lol. Sorry I didn't throw up any tutorials this week, but check previous weeks for detailed recipes. I did add fermented Banana peels, overly ripe ones to help push flowering maturity. Also added fermented kiwi, overly ripe again to push end of flowering. Also added Willow water, and a ton of fermented aloe and some frass I got from a buddy. Love yall! ❤️ hope you get better genetics than me. Oh and yes, if you get a chance, tell Beaver Seeds to F*** themselves lol, 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Peace out girl scouts, oh and yes, Berner did not make GSC, he stole the name and the first OG cut of Girl Scout Cookies was from San Francisco. So the real breeders don't make shit up, they work their strains and stress test their genes to ensure there is no bullshit, get in touch with your breeder. Check out 808 Genetics, I think that dude has it going on, he stress tests everything and has a great Twitch stream, Check him out! ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘

Welcome back to Colorado Gnome Grown. This week the gnome’s have been busy with the irrigation system. The water is stored in a 5g container and I mix the feed in it and it gets feed every time I water, which is twice a day for 1 minute, or until the plants drip. The plants are setting on a rack so that the water can drain away from the plant and into a tray. The plan is to buy Big Buds the first of the month to keep on hand to finish up in 4 weeks. Cookie Monster is 4in today and Noel is 2in, and both are starting to grow their bud site. Next week I will Top and defoliate for the first time. Well that’s all this time, tune next week for more information on; Colorado Gnome Grown!!!😎

🌱 Week 3 – Permanent Marker Veg Update Strain: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Official Dognabis Cup Grow Diary 🌍 Role: Organizer & Example Grow ⸻ 🌟 Welcome to the Dognabis Cup 🌟 We’re proud to officially introduce the Dognabis Cup to the Grow Diaries community! This is a virtual cannabis cup, focused on creativity, transparency, and community energy, open to all levels of growers. You can follow along or join via our official Instagram page: 👉 @dognabiscup This grow diary will serve as an example and inspiration for participants, showing how I document the process, care for my plants, and work with genetics, soil, light, and love. The Cup had a brief pause due to a lost mail, but now it’s back and fully activated. Let’s grow together! 💚🔥 ⸻ Transplanting Time – Moving Up! The Permanent Marker girls have thrived in their early veg phase, and they’re now ready for a major milestone: transplanting into their final pots. The roots are vigorous, white, and beautifully spread, a sign of healthy development. • New pots: 11L Zamnesia fabric pots – breathable, root-friendly, ideal for organic soil • Transplant timing: Perfect—plants are strong, compact, and ready for more space • Structure: Both selected phenos (PM#1 and PM#2) are extremely similar—vigorous, balanced, and symmetrical. PM#3 will be kept as a backup. From the beginning, this was a “3 to keep 2” plan, and now we follow through. ⸻ About the Genetics Permanent Marker is a strain that needs no introduction in the craft cannabis world. Bred by Doja Pak x Seed Junky x DEO Farms, and now shared through Zamnesia Seeds, this cross of Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherb Bx is known for its deep purple colors, greasy resin, and explosive terpene profiles. In this grow, we are not only testing potential, but celebrating this modern cultivar by giving it a perfect environment to shine. ⸻ 🌱 Super Soil Recipe – Building a Living Medium To support the organic journey, we’ve built a super soil blend based on Aptus Holland’s organic nutrient system. Here’s what went in: • Micromix – Boosts microbial life and supports soil biodiversity • All-in-One Pellets – Slow-release, balanced macro + micro nutrition • Substrate Buffer Powder – Stabilizes pH and improves nutrient availability • Mycorrhizae – Applied directly in contact with the root zone to support colonization and nutrient exchange This mix is pre-mixed thoroughly before transplanting, giving the roots an environment rich in nutrition, oxygen, and microbial harmony. ⸻ 💧 First Watering After Transplant – Intentional Feeding For the initial watering post-transplant, we’re using Aptus Holland’s liquid line to help the roots settle in and activate the soil life: • Start Booster – To stimulate root branching and microbial synergy • All-in-One Liquid – A balanced, fast-absorbing nutrient base • CalMag Boost – To avoid any early deficiencies and strengthen cell walls • Regulator – Enhances nutrient uptake, strengthens tissue, and reduces transplant stress This feeding is low EC, highly bioavailable, and structured to support a soft transition with zero shock. ⸻ 🔍 Pheno Notes – Structure & Selection • PM#1 and PM#2 are being kept based on uniformity, growth speed, and leaf morphology • PM#3 is healthy, but as per the plan, it will remain as a backup • All phenos are compact and symmetrical, which aligns with Permanent Marker’s known characteristics • We’re curious to see how stretch and resin production evolve in coming weeks ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts – On Growth & Community This week marks a turning point, from rooting to expanding. The girls are moving into their adult homes, and with that comes the real shaping of structure, terpene profiles, and eventual flower power. We’re thankful to be walking this journey with support from brands we trust, and from a community that lifts each other up. 🌍 Dognabis Cup is not just a competition, it’s a celebration of craft, learning, and expression. We invite everyone to follow along, ask questions, and maybe even start their own diary in the Cup spirit. ⸻ Thank you all for the love, support, and energy. I'm sorry I'm 4 weeks behind here guys, it's been a busy period in my life. So here we have a mixed grow, as you can see everything is growing well. I've been LSTing these plants since day 1, the results are a nice evn canopy and plenty of tops. Used the biotabs lineup this time around with a light dose of micro nutrients for veg. Working great There are 2x Power Kush 2x PPP 2x Chemdawg 2x White Widow Thanks for following
