I've had success in the past with transplanting autos from solo cups to their final pots as long as I dont allow the roots to reach the bottom before transplanting.

6/13/25 everything is coming along smoothly for the black opium autos. I had to pick a seed shell off of the more scraggly looking one but they’re green and happy In their environment. 6/15/25 day 3 and there's noticeable growth Stay tuned for what comes next. Have harvested her on November 3rd and now she is drying. Will later add the result of the dry weight. When smoked i will give the final resukt of stars. Have weighted her after it dried and the result was 78g. So i will add 300 as wet weight (80 x 4=320)(I think 300 to 400 is a good range). A final smoke test will be made in 2 weeks or so, but she has a lot oft potence.

Day 71! Moving along!! Day 72! Gonna start heavy defoliation at day 21 of flowering Day 73! Added some microbes for better uptake. The buds on this is going to be fire 🔥 🙏🏼😅 Day 74! So outdoors are always so tricky in Illinois. This plant started in mid April when it was warm, then super cold with snow, followed by moderate weather, to be harvested a touch early due to high humidity, drought—followed by days of lots of rain. She suffered bud rot on a few sites and was harvested immediately after to save the rest of the plant. Super frosty, great terps and she survived it all! Literally! Smells like fruit and dough.

Tank clean and flush on day 4, Flush on day 5 and 6th day I pulled the freebie down and left two decent sized flowers on them to keep the roots alive. Straight after cutting them I added the nutrition back to normal. My plants did not show hardly any yellowing during the flush days. I wet trimmed the plant and hung upside down. I left everything on the stem so no loose buds. Everything with trichomes was bagged and put in the freezer.

This was a fun first week. All 12 plants showed good growth. I had to support to three of the plants to ensure they didn't bend over. It was nothing serious, but I thought it was a prudent move. I'm not seeing any deformed leaves. All 12 are showing a nice uniform growth. Some are further along than others, but I attribute that to different germination dates; some are just a day or two older than their siblings. I'm being careful not to overwater them. When I did water them, I added a little Bloom Roots and Dyna Gro KLN. That should promote good root development. It was fun watching these plants griw strong during their first week of life! I didn't have any problems, and I can't wait to see how they progress.

What’s up fellow Growmies! Got another exciting strain from Canuk Seeds... Cement Shoes! Yep, gonna be sleeping with the fishes. Lol First time trying this strain but so far it’s been a breeze. I kinda took a break from documenting my grows because life got a bit hectic for a bit their, but I’m back and got some more great strains lined up for the future. Gonna try and do an outdoor RDWC setup this summer so stay tuned, gonna be some monsters hopefully! I’ve never seen it done really and I have a few ideas...lol but anyway, back the the cement shoes. So I started them awhile back(not exactly sure when) in my smaller tent(3x4) under a single 1200w King LED grow light. They spent about 2 months in this tent in 3 gal DWC buckets until they outgrew the buckets and tent and need to be moved. Up until this point they were kinda just on auto pilot in the background of my other larger tents. But I was planning on reducing my plant count in my larger 4x8 tents so I decided to go from 4 plants per tent to 2 plants per tent, so we needed some big girls to fill these tents. Lol they were topped at 3-4th node and just let them go from there. They ended up being about 3 feet tall above the 1ft tall buckets. Moved them over too one of my bigger 4x8 tents and added a screen very carefully and ScrOG’d them out. Still waiting on my new Eye HPS Bulb so they are still currently under my 1000w MH. I’ll post all the pics I can find in this weeks log from the veg time and they are about 2 weeks into flower now so I’ll snap some flower pics soon and continue from there. So far 2 plants vegged a bit longer are filling the shoes of 4 plants no problem. Having more space means I also have not had to really defoliate at all. Well that’s it so far, stay tuned for more!
