So far, so good. The Dr amazingly grows similar sized buds above the light level as she grows buds behind the lights. Buds are small in general. I fertigate her once a day, 0.4 g/L of the base fertilizer. Inflow conc is 550 ppm (ca,. 1100 uS/cm), and I think I may be slightly underfertilizing. I plan to raise the concentration 150 ppm within two weeks and see if she tolerates that amount. What's fantastic in these long flowering strains, that it seems one has all the time in the world to plan and make changes, in the end, there's so much time to recuperate in case of an inconvenience! Day 107 (29-12) It consoles me that even the infortunate grow disadventures of mine with this "stretchy sativa" I think the journey will turn out successful. Let's some in April! (perhaps somewhat earlier, I dunno) If not for yields, which I reckon thwy may not be as large as I wanted (if for big yield was the original intention of growing this strain I wouldn't grow this one specially -which is know not ot be a big yielder, it was the desire of the experience of growing this noble and beautiful landrace (heirloom) sativa. by myslef...and I have 4 more seeds ;) I raised EC with 0.5 g/L Bloom fertilizer per liter solution, keeping all the other ingredients constant, in concentration and order of mixing. Every day I have the extra work of inspecting the colas to see whether they are being damaged by heat and eventually apart them from the cobs, etc., but in general, I thank God this could have been even much worse. Luckily she resists both the high indoor temperatures (31 ºC by this date, when outside temperatures are of that order), and pro-silicate additive may have been useful to resist heat, as Grotek claims.

Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

Das soll auch diese Blüten bei der Reifung unterstützen. As usual, the water contained only about 1.5 ml/L of Cal-Mag at a pH of 6.5. From around mid-flowering onward, the pH is slightly increased to support nutrient uptake, for example magnesium. The smell is extremely sweet — especially when removing larger leaves, the aroma is very intense. Otherwise, the grow is progressing without major events. Preparations for harvest have begun, and the next generation is already in the propagation tent. Day 93 – Grow Day 38 – Flowering Phase: Today, a final HST was performed in the form of removing many fan leaves to allow more light to reach the buds in the middle. The difference is clearly visible. This should also support the maturation of these buds. It is noticeable that “autumn” is slowly setting in — beautiful pink colorations are now becoming visible.

Now they are in 15 liter felt pots. I did some defoliation to open up the lower branches.

Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The LSD-25 itself looks similar to my first run with a very slow growth compared to the other 3 strains i have going now. It is from the same tester kit so I am expecting a small plant overall but the new lights will definitely give me more overall bud. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED, EVEN the LSD-25. It had no hight to it before the Vipar went in. While the other 3 are doing better, the LSD is still going to be one of my favourites. I can't wait to smell that earthy/varnish/citrus. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Have no doubt the new lights will make the plant/overall yield. Thanks for stopping in! Weekly update on these ladies, they've definitely stacked up amazing. I did a defoliation this week taking most of the upper leaves off allowing more light down to the lowers. Its been a fun amd easy one to grow. The smell it gives off is strong fruity candy. All in all Happy Growing

Very easy to grow and forgiving, they both would take big feeds and weren't upset by high EC. Lovely dense nuggets, some had taken on a purple hue. All dripping with Trichomes and potent turpenes. I can't put a finger on the aromas but there's an old school skunky smell in the background. Completely changed from the early stages of flowering. Very smooth to smoke and reasonably potent. I'll definitely be growing this again and it's my favourite strain of this run. Good work Sweet Seeds, Sweet Gelato is a winner for me!

Hot damn this is a pretty plant. Enormous fan leaves, tight nodes, and LOTS of em. This plant continues to impress, however, some of her daughters are blowing past her in height, surprisingly. Room is on point, mother is happy and healthy. 55 days or so till harvest:)

Week 10 started today 8/8. Gave them their final trim. Going to let them recoup for a week and then switch the light. I'm still super pumped and can't wait to see if this works out! Mes crayon à ph était defect j'ai donc eu quelque petit problème mais j'ai remédier en achetant un nouvelle appareille . Ph réajuster donc tout est revenue à la normale . Les tête gonflé encore. Le smoothie va commander son rinçage au prochaine arrosage pour 2 semaine complète. Les 3 autre son capables de prendre au moins une as 2 autre semaine avant le rinçage. Merci de me suivre 💪🏼

Had a lot of issues along the way but finally here to the flowering stage so yay! My pH meter was uncalibrated and off by +.5, so after correcting that some more growth was noticed. I really want to order these seeds again for an indoor set-up. They have almost a velvety smell and feel to the stems of the leaves. Outdoor hydro has definitely been a challenge but something I am going to try again and again until I find a method that works good for me. Never be discouraged!
