( Week 5 ) 30/6/2025 So this has been a big week not only has kushtina been through a bit of hst and also topped yesterday she is takeing to it well. I have been extremely lucky, privilege and blessed to be here right now in my life. Start of a new season have been itching deep in my bones since a week after my first harvest. I've rearranged a bit more and placed small platforms to balance the plants of different heights. Now I'm really satisfied, and the ladies looking good too. I think the Red Banana Berry will go out this weekend and into preparation for the living-dead phase before drying. 😇

I was growing in closets with the doors open - not a very sealed or sterile environment. I saw some dirt/debris on the leaves so I gave them all a preemptive bath with insecticidal soap just in case it was an early sign of an infestation

Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. Both sticky traps replaced. • Additional lollipopping done: removed popcorn buds and shaded growth under SCROG. • Leaf symptoms (tip burn, spotting) persist – watered with plain pH water, once with half HESI dose. • Watered 3x this week: 9.5 L (pH only) • Light stayed at intensity level 7

I switched to new fertilizer, I used a little too much, but it's not a problem, I gave around 900 ppm to each plant, but I don't mind, flawless finish is available.

Early morning day 1 we got a good rain. The girls loved it. This week has cooler night time Temps, storms, and low 90s upper 80s f day time Temps. Plants are getting into the super soil and out of the safe zone of plain organic soil. Next time I'll use a stronger mix of liquid feed for the safe zone. The plants didn't get enough nutes to grow fast. I'm still dialing in super soil/organic so there's a learning curb. I'm a little worried about topping these as I got a late start outdoors. I topped the biggest this week. The smallest got ravaged by an insect so I'll just let it grow out naturally.

She looks super beautiful and healthy in her first week in this crazy world, she's a strong girl, she's developing not only correctly but very fast too under my HortiONE LED lighting. I'm using 2 panels of 190w each. Hope to train this lady and make such a beautiful bush using training techniques, we have a beautiful journey coming up guys! I think they're budding a bit slowly this week but I did do a heavy defoliation at the start so may have stressed them a little. They have finally finished stretching also. Theyve gotten bigger than I expected lol.. I'm seeing thc now and they are starting to smell nice. EC increased to 1.4 this week Ppfd increased 610 to 700 by the end of the week . Will leave it at 700 now until the end . Don't want them to be stressed .
