Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Aquí las fotos de esta nueva semana de vegetación para ambas plantas, cumpliendo así la white widow 23 dias de plantada y la zinfandel 16. La fotos corresponden al 21, 24 y 27 de abril. Por ahora no hay nada más que agregar. Ya que esta semana solo agregué algo de sustrato en ambas y el riego fue de agua reposada con una bomba dando oxígeno por 24hr y un ph de 6,1 a 6,5. Lo que no sé es si realizar alguna tipo de poda más adelante o si mejor las dejo crecer como son, ya que no sé mucho. Existe el temor de dañarlas o estresarlas demasiado. Lo pensaré, también recibo cualquier consejo u observación con ellas!

Day71: Tropicana cookies will be cut tomorrow or as soon as the soil dries a bit more. Wedding cheesecake is getting denser. This week is the last feeding week for her, then she is going to get 10/14 days with water only. Gorilla cookies is super bushy, I’m not going to be a fan when I’ll trim her but she is developing well and putting on some weight. Day72: Tropicana cookies is drying! Now I got 2 plants in the tent. I can’t wait to see wedding cheesecake colors at the end of the flush. Gorilla cookies is going to get her last feeding as well and then she is going to get only water. Day 75: pushing towards the end!

Alaskan Purple is looking good after the neem treatments. She is off to a great start. Hopefully I place in the contest. She is growing under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She had some training today and is ready for another week. Week went smooth had to do some more defoliation doing one more next week and cleaning up all the bottoms and any fan leaves in middle that face inward to help light and air flow through em I been pushing these ppms I’m trying to get my ec uo to like a 6 rn it’s at like a 4 but it’s a work in progress

ITA: Ciao a tutti, le piante continuano a stare bene ma l'umidità era troppo alta quindi ho deciso di comprare un nuovo estrattore d'aria da 125mm (prima era da 100mm ma non era sufficiente). Vedrò nei prossimi giorni se si vedranno risultati EDIT: l'umidità purtroppo non è scesa in quanto non c'è ricircolo d'aria nella stanza in cui c'è la box. Probabilmente userò un deumidificatore. Le piante hanno messo molte foglie e si coprono un po' motivo per cui tra qualche giorno eseguirò un'altra defogliazione. Stanno iniziando a fare odore, molto leggero ma si inizia a percepire ENG: Hi everyone, the plants are still doing well but the humidity was too high so I decided to buy a new 125mm air extractor (it used to be 100mm but it wasn't enough). I'll see in the next few days if we see any results EDIT: unfortunately the humidity has not dropped as there is no air recirculation in the room where the box is. I'll probably use a dehumidifier. The plants have put on a lot of leaves and are covering up a bit which is why in a few days I will be doing another defoliation. They are starting to smell, very light but you are starting to perceive

DRYING TIME

Blütewoche 3 und die Macht scheint mit den Mädels zu sein. Es wirkt so als würde der Strech schwächer ausfallen als gedacht. Das Netz ist aber gefüllt und somit alles in bester Ordnung. Denke ich 😅 Einzelne Triebe wurde im Netz angepasst. Unterhalb wurde die Pflanze ausgelichtet und von alten Sonnensegeln befreit. Auch oberhalb habe ich einige Blätter entfernt um die Ausleuchtung der Nebentriebe zu verbessern. Bis jetzt habe ich jeden Tag ein bis zweimal besprüht. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit diesen Winter ist dann doch etwas mau. Langsam denke ich das hier wird richtig gut 👍 Möge der Saft mit uns sein 😉

🚨 Durbin Thai/Cinderella 99 week 16 update 🚨 🚨 113 days old!! 🚨 🌸 Day 22 of Flower 🌸 So this is a clone I received on Jan 31st. She has been transplanted from a solo cup 2 a 5 gal pot. She had 2 be topped in her second week of rooting do 2 the top frying from to much light in young clone stage. Since the topping this lady has come 2 life!! She has been defoliated 4 times! Most recent defoliation 3/24! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On 3/2/22 I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since!! She was defoliated on 3/27 again. She was given her second feeding of @gaiagreenorganics on 4/02. This lady was defoliated on 4/10 and 4/19 and 5/1. She received a all purpose/bloom feed of Gaia green on 5/2. She was also flipped to 12/12 light cycle on 5/2. Piano piano iniziano a formare resina e giorno dopo giorno riuscirò a sentire il profumo dei loro fiori 🌺 🤩..domani preparerò un bel boost con bucce di banane 🍌 ( circa 8 bucce per 10/12L di acqua ) porto quasi a ebollizione e poi lascio raffreddare fino al giorno dopo nella pentola…mi viene fuori una soluzione a circa 1500 PPM che poi diluisco ancora quanto basta…un vero aiuto per rendere i tuoi fiori dolci 🍭 e pieni di tricomi appiccicosi 😎 oltre a questo aggiungo 3ml/L di Canna Terra Flores una volta a settimana…il resto solo tanto amore 🌬️

So meine kleine Kofferprinzessin befindet sich nun in der zweiten Blütewoche (im Video sage ich Growwoche, das ist natürlich quatsch) und ich glaub alles ist soweit gut. Ich habe die kleine ein bisschen mit Draht von der Lampe weggebogen und hoffe das hilft irgendwie. PS Ich benutz nie wieder so n whackn Growkoffer :/
