So Far so Good

What up family. These girls are super close with some being done and will get pulled out to get harvested in the next day or so. I flowers are super dense covered in trichs. The smell is pungent & sweet. Over all a fast strain to grow producing beautiful flowers.

She got to big for the 2x2x4 so I had to move it to a bigger 2x4x5 that has a new never before used 320w kingbright so this whole grow is evolving as it goes I had no clue that hydro and 200w in veg would make the plant this big. Temps are much easier to control now in the bigger setup. the 7 gallon res. is loseing about 1 gal a day I top it off and check PH/EC once a day it almost never needs adjusting so that is really nice.

Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.

(Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

Welcome to my grow diary of the Royal queen seeds Royal Gorilla very nice looking, overall very good performance for this kind of (not so good) weather. Hoping for flowering to set soon, warm weather is coming this week, so maybe in a couple of days we can see the first flowering hairs.

And off we went, the adventure with Zamnesia's F1 Hybrids started off great, with a stunning 100% germination 8/8 born without any hesitation after a very short time in water and subsequently in soil. She is exactly at the 10th, she is the Wurlz, she grows well regularly and very similar to the little twin. One of the characteristics of the F1 Hybrids is stability and for now it has been thoroughly demonstrated since day 10. For the rest we have to say everything is going very well, the parameters are in order, the girls were born in a biodegradable jar which biodegraded a little earlier than expected and I proceeded with the potting, no repotting, be careful the seedling never came out of the jar biodegradable the roots pass it at a certain point of decomposition. So we are now in a comfortable 11 liter house that is perfect for autoflowering in my opinion. Unfortunately, the Zamnesia pots are about to arrive but I didn't have them in time, I preferred to repot them for the sake of the plants, we need to photograph them of course but first and foremost I'm a grower and I care about the health of my little girls. Something tells me we will be growing a lot of Zammi plants so we will use them in the Official Grower version next time. Week 3 Update — Transplant & Early Veg Development Date: 11/12–11/17 Strain: Fast Diesel (IZI.Farm) Medium: Fox Farm Happy Frog + Gaia Green Amendments Light: Mammoth Nova Sun 950W Grower: Stoney Stark / Little Lilly Farms Light & Environment Fixture: Mammoth Nova Sun Series 950W Settings: 50% total | 100% cool | 40% warm | 0% IR | 0% UV Previous PPFD: ~300 µmol/m²/s Light Adjustment (11/17): Lowered 6", increasing canopy PPFD to ~435 µmol/m²/s Temperature: 83°F Humidity: lowered to 65% RH Three phenos continue showing strong vegetative growth, while one runt remains smaller but healthy with no signs of stress or deficiency. A minor leaf-curling issue caused by airflow has been corrected. Considering relocating the driver outside the tent to help mitigate heat as the grow transitions toward flower. Humidity reduced to 65% to match increasing canopy density and airflow needs. I tied down branches on 3 of the 4 plants on 11/20 to open their structure and prepare them for the upcoming stretch. The smallest pheno—the runt—was left untouched to continue growing vertically. It’s still healthy, just not meeting the overall standard of the garden. I’m giving it one more week to show improvement before deciding whether it stays in the run or gets culled. Flip Decision After monitoring growth, root establishment, and canopy development, the decision has been made to flip to flower on 11/26. This will give the plants enough time to fully settle into their 5-gallon pots while still maintaining a 4–5 week vegetative cycle.

3/4/24-Here we are with the ladies goin to their second week. Yay baby flowers 💚 Have a few things going on. I apparently suck at the trellis thing lol. At flower they were all pretty even..I would tuck a few stragglers that got taller under. They’ve went crazy now and I don’t really have anywhere to tuck them other than away from the lights which I don’t wanna do. There was some discoloration on the tips of leaves which I assumed was light or nutrient related, so I dimmed lights a bit and checked the runoff water. Omg. It was wayyyyy too acidic. Like high 4’s low 5. Some leaves also appear to be showing magnesium deficiency.. which I assume is because of the crazy acidity. I’m giving dechlorinated tap water (no normal nutes) without phing it because it’s very alkaline. Hoping it will bring things back up. Oh, I sprinkled epsom salt on the soil before watering. (Magnesium) Really crossing my fingers that I am doing the right things and don’t screw this up! These ladies still look really good to me considering.. but only time will tell. Update: pretty sure I had nitrogen toxicity and too much salt buildup in the soil. In the meantime got what seemed to be magnesium deficiency. I’ve been giving only water with some epsom salt and the girls seems much happier. Hopefully Krisis averted 😂

The ladies are still doing great and stacking very nicely! The trichomes on both pheno’s are insane, super dense buds too. The leaves do look very very dark green with slight tip burns, so I dosed down the nutrients slightly from 1100+ to 950 ppm. The grow light makes the leaves look more light green than they actually are (check the night shots). Both plant smell super super sweet, not really blueberry (yet) though.

With the amazing good weather last week. Growth was phenomenal! I am pretty excited. 🙂. They are coming along nicely. The ladies arms are getting more and more swollen every day. The stretch has stopped. I have done some more defoliation (can't keep my hands away from the damn scissors. Lol). I will update throughout the week. 😎

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Flush time, within the end of this week is now flush time. To summary this week i just kept on my feeding habits, Water with base > Water with boosters, alternating Recharge. My led seams to be crashing a bit, the colors are not stable as is possible to see in the timelapse. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, with a slight amber. 9 weeks flowering time will be exact, just need time to flush, they are maturing fast fast, hairs are getting orange in a blink. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Compared to the Blueberry the nugs are thinner, still nice size, a bit less dense, thru the stems there are many popcorn buds, that is also due to the less removal on this girl to test. Loaded with colas and the scent is very sugary too, a bit stronger than the BB, and the hairs are turning orange faster, starting to look very mature. Defoliated a bit to avoid rot, will defoliate more for this reason.

Strawberry Cadillac – STRNG Seeds W14 F5 2/8-14 TPS1 13ml/g Silica Gold 3ml/g 2/8 PPM 935, 69.6F, 6.46ph 2/11 PPM 957, 65.4F 6.60ph 2/14 I will water again. The buds are stacking and filling out nicely. The buds on Cadillac1 are stacked tall and thin. Some of the buds on the super cropped limbs are too heavy and flop over. S Cadillac 2 buds are flat and wide. I focused many pictures on one bud that I thought was particularly pretty. When I harvest, I’m going to measure the length of the limb spread and determine how tall this strain would have been if not super cropped. In the future, I will not buy seeds that the height range is not listed, 4 of the 6 plants are 4 inches from the light. Other than this oversized and crowed jungle, all is going well. Buenas, cultivadores.  Día 08708/2024: actualmente tienen 22 días de vida,  hemos regado con fertilizante de crecimiento y también enzimas; utilizamos agua de osmosis con un pH de 5.9 y un EC de 0.9 en las siguientes semana le daremos su última semana de crecimiento y le añadiremos silicio para resistir estas altas temperaturas debido al verano, y mejorar paredes celulares, una variedad de sweet seeds ha tenido al principio de su germinación ha tenido un bloqueo nutricional, pero logramos solucionarlo en unos días seguramente hagamos una pequeñita defoliación para quitar hojas satélites y mejorar el reparto de luz entre los nudos
