Hey guys :-) We come to the end of the diary and thus to the penultimate update before the Smoke Report. As always, the lady was hung upside down to dry. At temperatures of 18-21 degrees and 54-60 % humidity. After 14 days they were neatly hand trimmed and placed in jars for remote harvesting. Report: I am very happy to write this report. The lady's overall growth was perfect from start to finish. And I don't just mean perfect, I've never seen such a beautiful variety with such beautiful flowers 😍. She had no problems with training ( topping ) and was very easy to grow. The yield was above average, which plays a minor role. In the end, the best yield and the most beautiful appearance of the buds mean nothing if the taste doesn't match. And here is exactly the miracle where all 3 features not only fit but are perfect. Now we come to the third and most important feature the taste :-). It not only smells incredibly delicious but tastes just as delicious ☺️😍. In the smell you can clearly see the choco notes as if you were opening a pack of chocolate. In the taste, this tone comes into its own a little more easily, but the notes of cheescake and fruit are all the stronger. It really tastes extremely delicious and has a very strong terpene profile 💚. I absolutely love it and will be making more phenotypes of this strain. Clearly deserves 10 out of 10 stars and a huge compliment to the Amsterdam Genetics Team 🙏🏻💚. The smoke report with the finished flower pictures will follow shortly. Week 2 into flower and she is doing well. Lots of bud sites! Dropped the light to 13 inch, around 800 PPFD. RH is around 40%. I gave her 2 L of water and green rush nutrients. Nothing much. Happy Growing!

Week 17/1 - 23/1

Smelling really nice

Just waiting and watering when needed. 21 Mar - smells like overripe oranges. Almost like they're starting to rot.

So how was this week. Major changes: Turned lights to 14 /10 to reduce heat on the plants and reduce burning the tips. Keep tent open during the day to reduce humidity and temperatures using 2 fans. Temps range from 76 -78 with rh 43 - 46%. Put the plants in the garage at night. This greatly reduces night temperatures also we have been having colder than normal weather. The night temperatures ranged from 53-58 & rh 41-51%. I continued to flush with a gal of water for each plant on day 79. This is because I've been over feeding and thought this could reduce the in plan nutrient stores. Responses to my last question revealed that I have a cal mag problem. I go to our local hardware / garden store that I know carries cannabis fertilizers. No they did not have any cal mag solution. Order came in yesterday at the end of the week. Day 81 fed 1 tsp tiger bloom per gal ( used 2 gal for all plants). Ppm was at a very low 410. This is much lower than the recommended feeding range but they have been getting too much. Day 82. Normally I would not water as the pots still had weight to them, but the cal mag came in so I made up 2 gal with 2 tsp fox farm cal mag and fed their usual water amount. 👏 Based on the seed info, it looks like I'm within a week or two from harvest. Leaves started to grow bigger so definitely the 10€ light bulb is working, nevertheless I'm expecting to be much slower than what it should take to an autoflower to grow.

01-11-2021: Good afternoon everyone... here we are again. My Bruce Banger will be ready in a week so I thought... I can probably germinate some seeds. I still have a lot of them (thanks to zamnesia) Every now and then I also post a report on Growdiaries and since you can only enter a competition there by using only one Strain I decided to put a round of Wedding Cake. I wanted to grow this variety when I still got my seeds from seedstockers, but found it too expensive at the time. Now I had two fish vouchers from zamnesia, each one good for 5 Wedding Cake Auto seeds. I didn't really like AFs per se (although I enjoy the result every day) so I called them and asked if I couldn't get Photos instead of Autoflowers... That was no problem at all, so I now have 10 have seeds. I have not yet found a method of germination on Hydro that works well for me, so we're going to do it in the most reliable way for me... old-fashioned in Cocos plugs. I let it fill itself with acidified (PH5.9) water and then provided each plug with a seed. I now put this under a 60W purple LED lamp that I still had from my very first cultivation attempt. Once they are up (I'm guessing/hope with a week) these will go into my budget system to grow there under 480W LM301H panels for a few weeks but with only 12 hours of light. The idea is to move these to the large closet as soon as they are about 4 weeks old, but that is not necessarily a requirement because you can also remove the lamps from that loft and move them to this room. That depends a bit on the size. What I'm going to test this round is how good/bad 12/12 from seed is doing in Hydro. Since most feeding schedules with hydro assume that you only pre-grow 1 week, I thought I might as well rule out that one week. In addition, from the moment the roots emerge from under the net pots, I want to increase the EC to 1.5 fairly quickly. I like small stocky plants without having to scrog. Maybe I'll top and maybe even mainline, but that depends entirely on the development of the ladies. In any case, there will be no feeding computer for the first few weeks (a bluelab Guardian) and as growth food they are given Hy-Pro Hydro A/B with Calmag (4-4-1 ratio). I expect very low temperatures in space so it won't be a banger. I have the impression that a correct root temperature compensates to some extent. I'm still looking for a way to transport the ladies in the right way (or I have to find a way to be able to use the same net pots in both systems). But that is of later concern. Since I only have 1 pre-growth room and 1 flowering room, I will put these ladies in a kitchen cupboard for the next week. The Bruce Banger goes on Sunday and then I can put them in there. The idea is to continue breeding on 12/12 from now on. After six weeks, new seeds will always germinate and no more than 5 at a time. I now make a round with originally 15 ladies, 3 of them were left behind in such a way that I took them out (to prevent rot) with the probable cause of too little light. 5 Planting will probably yield a little less, but hey, I can't finish it otherwise. And now my friends are very happy with my clearing days but of course that is not what I grow for. In addition, it also hurts a bit to give away 3-4 ounces after so many months of work. Very happy with how this lady has performed, amazing quality buds, very sticky and dense flower with a concrete smell that I love so much, which is that kind of fruity sweet flavor that this lady is able to produce, it's been a beautiful journey, I'm gonna enjoy a lot this flowers. This was probably when I started to realize I should have done a lot more training. I didn't and we are where we are, but the plants look healthy as all get out. For my second grow and my first photoperiods, I couldn't be happier. Somewhere soon I axe the third plant, it was that or dedicate my entire 2x4 to it.
