Apex is frosting up nicely and her smell is popping, closest I can get to describing it is like cleaning products from a real fancy hotel…but lots of fan leaves are showing signs of deficiencies and/or lockout cuz she’s root bound really bad. Buds and sugar leaves aren’t affected, so far so good, I hope they stay that way 🤞 Gelato is fattening up real nice and has that distinct pungent aroma but not as strong as apex and not a lot of trichs. I hear this strain starts picking up in week 7+…although she’s root bound too but not as bad (I think). Lights are at 80%…they’re fricken beasts and way too much power for such a short, tiny tent. Next grow will be same strains, bigger final pots and will be in a new tent that is 6” (15cm) taller, every little bit helps :) That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by. Overall great starter plant!

Some of the older leaves started yellowing, so I used a little bit of mineral fertilizer and also added a spoonful of bone and blood meal. Although I think it is quite natural for them to use mobile resources and for leaves to die off, I added some fertilizer just once, especially for the nitrogen deficiency. But it will be a one-time thing. Other than that, nothing special happened. I do hope that the buds are getting bigger, but right now, I don't see much progress this week, except on the buds on the lower branches. In less than two weeks, my grow tent and new setup should arrive, so maybe she will finish inside a proper tent, and I'll get my kitchen back 😂 She is really smelly right now.

📆 Week 14, 5-11 August 2024 5-11 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 Pablo continues to grow! She has not slowed down in water consumption so she may need more time than expected. I’ll have to observe for another week before a decision can be made when to harvest. Being 90% sativa this is not unusual. Pistil hairs are about 75% brown (with new ones developing). Buds are bulking out, continuing to grow and swell, and trichomes are building. The plant has doubled in size within this week. This week it was watered every 2 days with approx. 150 ml with collected rainwater. The weather was really good again this week. The daily temperatures fluctuated between 18 and 27 degrees. As roots were visible at the bottom of the pot, I thought it would be a good time to repot at the end of the week. As you can see from the pictures, the roots are not yet perfectly formed. As I have now taken the plant out of its pot anyway, it has been given a new home. The pot size has increased from 0.6l to 4l. It is now big enough for the pre-fertilized soil. N 210 mg/L - P 240 mg/L - K 270 mg/L - Mg 70 mg/L - S 150mg/L

In the last week, the plants grow a lot, they are very healthy, the firstly pistils are showing up. I think that the next week will start the bloom season.

Bueno resumiendo cookies gelato es una variedad híbrida muy fácil de cultivar pero ojo, cuidado con los últimos riegos si no queréis perder cosecha por moho. Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . Un saludazo que paséis un final de año increíble y por supuesto buenos humazooos💨💨💨.

Nutrient deficiency? or over feeding nutrients? Normally feed 3days nutirents 1 day ph water messed up my feeds which made me feed nutrients for 4 days instead of my intended 3days which may of caused yellow tips. only on a couple of the leaves i (THINK) i might of caught pretty early Flushed with ph 5.9 water saturday 18-1-25 as of 19/1/25 24 hours later no signs of it getting worse or on any other leaves decided to cut big fan leaves of to try and direct the growth more to the nodes going to leave it an hour or 2 to see how she reacts to what ive done then if all is good i shall feed with nutrient Nutrient mix 5litres H202 2.5ml Silicate 3g Calmag 5ml Micro 5ml grow 5ml bloom 4ml Ph 0.1ml 22-1-25 no feed for two days to see how it holds up..(Its holdin up) last feed was 20-1-25 just some light LSTand defoliation today on 22jan just to keep all branches around the same level the banana cookies that was planted same time seems to be a bit behind and is not on the same path

A lot of growth this week. It is very hot outside so I can't really control the temperature too well, but I don't really care. I continue feeding with 6ml Canna Flores per liter of water. The smell of the plant is definitely not my type. Very earthy and not sweet/fruity at all.

Week 5 Day 1: The smells are starting, they’re starting to chunk up from a week ago. The chem is definitely larger than the rest, but the Durban is doing its regular thing and making hard nugs. I haven’t done anything except tuck and defo large shading fans. Just on cruise control. I fed with the above amounts 2 days ago which is that same as suggested for week 5. I’ll be adding the overdrive in week 6 and see what that does. The Shishkaberry is a little lack luster in size but we’ll see she goes and the Dutch is stacked up pretty nicely with some crowding between the nets. All in all getting more pistils, size and trichs every day so nothing to complain about. Also, starting to have a bit of a leaf tip burn but not sure what the reason is yet.
