G.23: le piante sono in salute anche se la g.p. ha le foglie un po' basse, non noto carenze, ma penso che abbia bisogno semplicemente di più acqua (al giorno 21 ho dato 300 ml, al giorno 23 600 ml). Controllerò domani per vedere se migliora G.24: le piante hanno risposto bene all'innaffiatura e oggi i vasi erano di nuovo leggeri come ieri, perciò nuova innaffiatura da 500 ml per entrambe. G.27: come dalle foto ho messo un piccolo umidificatore a causa dell'eccessivo caldo (30% u.r.). Le piante crescono bene. Sto mantenendo le quantità di fert più basse rispetto alle volte precedenti e mi sta ripagando con un bel verde delle foglie. Questa settimana le piante hanno iniziato ad avere molta più sete e ad ogni giorno che ho pesato il vaso era sempre leggero. Continuate a seguirmi per nuovi aggiornamenti.

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

Día 29. Tuve que atar las plantas porque seguían estirando, y estaban demasiado cerca de la luz. También subí la luz 25cm. que es lo único que me quedaba. Volví a agregar bud blood, ya que leí que suma mucho en la resina. Subí bastante la EC de la solución esperando ver hasta donde aguantan, ya que están comiendo mucho y rápido, al punto que tuve que subir la capacidad del depósito a 16 litros. Seguiré actualizando, pero veo que están tardando más de lo esperado, ya que de ser 6, debería estar mas avanzado. Voy a seguir esperando a ver que pasa. Día 32. Las plantas están empezando a engordar. Por el momento se ven muy llenas de flores y brotes que van creciendo sin parar. Empiezo a pensar que van a ser demasiado tupidas, por lo que voy a necesitar manejar muy bien la humedad. Al momento creo que deben faltar 3 o 4 semanas, lo que me pone en duda si la variedad es la que puse. Probablemente me dé cuenta más al final, ya que hay una pequeña posibilidad de que se me hayan mezclado las variedades, y estas sean sweet tai. Espero que no, ya que esas últimas toman entre 10 y 11 semanas. Voy a esperar al final de la semana, que ya seguramente voy a poder hacer un estimado mejor sobre cuanto falta. Me interesa mucho, ya que no quiero adelantar el uso de overdrive, porque no sé si puede haber efectos negativos. Por el momento veo que hasta las hojas grandes estan pegajosas. Esto va a ser interesante.

At day 10 today 9/19 so fucking excited they are really started to take off now just fed again with some sweet candy added this time fucking love greenleaf nutrients so easy to manage. The price on this stuff is fucking dirt cheap and the results show !!! C4 first time growing second week looking good healthy green no issues at all. Almost at the end of the week.and I got my little trooper with me. I love when my cat always taking a look into the garden with me. She always been apart of weed since day 1 her birthday is even on 420 :)!

Set up the tent cam to take a picture every 5 minutes during lights on so I can try and make a cool timelapse. I fed them kinda lightly and I think my EC might be a little low and thats why they're so light colored; they're hungry. I also had the light on 3 but now its on 2. Its sitting pretty high above them so I don't think it should be burning them. They show no signs of stretching however so they're definitely not getting too-little light at least.

Auto Opium is growing good. I selective defoliated her and did some lst. She is looking really healthy. She is due for a solution change soon. I was kinda holding out till she started showing flowering signs. Everything has been going good, and nothing more to report. Just patiently waiting. So this week all the gelato 33 plants got 2ml/l fish mix and 1 ml/l of bloom added to 3 litres for water. And each one given a litre each. Gap between was 6 days and no water in-between as soil did not dry out through week

Hello growmies! Welcome to week three of An Epsilon Adventure! Week three already! These six ladies were each planted into their final 30l pots, fertigated for the first time, and put under the light two weeks ago. As you know if you have been following, last week I switch to full nutes earlier than planned as I was seeing deficiencies. Those deficiencies progressed quicker than the plants could respond to the new nutrition. To combat this I fertigated them more frequently and with more volume, as you have the option to do in a coco/perlite substrate mix. I have just given them their third full range fertigation after taking todays photos. All in all so far I am blown away by their progress, they are by far and away the most advanced 15 day old plants I've ever grown. I just wish I had started fertigating with everything earlier. I will certainly report back to Shogun that the coco schedule is too slow for the fastest autos. I do not know if there is a record for fastest start to finish result, but if there is this strain needs to compete because it is really, really, REALLY fast. Daily Updates: ### Week 3 Day 1 21:00 9/7 2m/l Start + 2.5ml/l Katana Roots & Zenzym + 1.5ml/l Coco A & Coco B + 1ml/l Zilicon & CalMag + 1m/l PH down - fertigated ~1.5l each In case you are wondering why I am adding start into this mix, it's because my other grows need it still, but I am also starting them on full nutes at 7-8 days to try to avoid the issues you have seen here last week. I decided therefore to just mix one batch up for them all and see how it goes. I really do not think a bit of extra start and roots will bother these girls, but it will make the difference for the others. With a 10l watering can as my only watering tool, part-mixes are highly error prone as I found out last grow series with Queen Citronella and the poisoning incident, and if I mixed up two batches I have to throw most of one away with a + b nutes such as this they don't store for very long once mixed. Anyway the colour is looking better in the new growth and they haven't missed a beat in terms of piling on greenery and height, I think these six girls are going to really put this "50-70cm" claim to the test. ### Week 3 Day 3 20:30 11/7 Photographed. ### Week 3 Day 5 11:00 13/7 2m/l Start + 2.5ml/l Katana Roots & Zenzym + 2ml/l Coco A & Coco B + 1ml/l Zilicon & CalMag + 1m/l PH down - fertigated ~3l each Today for the first time since I planted them up I moved everything out of the tent, and while I did so I inspected and photographed each girl. I found one aphid on one of the plants, which I tried to kill but it evaded my sausage fingers. So I sprayed all 6 plants with Neudorff BugFree. I made the stupid mistake of bringing in a sad little pepper plant for a bit of a boost, I obviously didn't check it. I will keep an eye on it but if the spray doesn't kill them then I will go and find some ladybird larvae. These are all pretty close to each other but I am starting to see two phenos. One is taller the other is thicker. See for yourself! Plants 1-4 are the slimmer/taller plants 5 and 6 are chonkier. I also labelled each plant and will note which plant is which in future photographs as you can follow an individual plant if you like. Anyway these girls are insane . Look at the size and development; 19 days!!!! Tallest is 40cm (plant 1) Shortest is 27cm (plant 6) Lastly, I have been keeping a decent handle on the temps it is now extremely rare for them to exceed 30 degrees unless there is a heatwave, which I sincerely hope there is not. I'll see you in a couple of days to round off this incredible week. ### Week 3 Day 6 23:00 14/7 Photographed wide shot. Really inspected each plant again and I am confident the only deficiency is magnesium. I checked the runoff PH it is sitting somewhere around 6.3. I am going to further increase the CalMag to 1.5ml/l ### Week 3 Day 7 23:00 15/7 Photographed individually. Flushed through with 3l of fertigate with increased CalMag dosage to 1.5ml/l which is now 50% above the recommended amount. I have gone off-piste with the nute schedule... be it on my own head I suppose. Fingers crossed. So the symptoms of the Mg def are on all plants but some worse than others, which has made me think perhaps there was some inequality in the distribution of the reused coco vs new amongst the pots. I suspect that maybe I should have rinsed the old coco first. I have had success with flushes in the past, and considering this issue is relatively minor I am not prepared to take them all out and individually flush through with 30l+. Instead I have overwatered them by about double when they were already fairly saturated so about 70% of the fertigate came through as runoff. Below is my current assessment of the different plants: Plant 1 -------- Previously the tallest plant, now only 2nd she current stands at 57cm tall having put on 17cm in the last TWO DAYS. She is one of the least affected by the Mg def. Her stem is about the 4th thickest. Plant 2 -------- The 2nd tallest plant on day 19 is now only third the tallest plant at 52cm, she also has the second thinnest stem. Plant 3 -------- Around the same height as 3 other sisters on day 19, in the last two days this plant has grown to 58cm tall and is now the tallest plant in the series, as well as having by far the thinnest stem. This girl has put on at least 20cm in the last two days. This plant was the 2nd worst Mg def symptoms. Plant 4 -------- The 3rd shortest plant at 47cm, she has the third thickest stem, and seems to be somewhere between the two phenos. This plant is the most affected by the Mg def. Plant 5 -------- Standing at only 40cm but with a really chunky stem and the 2nd thickest this girl is clearly a different pheno to plants 1-3 and 4. Her leaves are much fatter and bigger and her stem is much much thicker than plants 1-4. Plant 6 -------- Last but by no means least is plant 6, this girl is my favourite, though she is the shortest plant standing at only 39cm tall, she has tight internodes, massive fat leaves, and by far and away the thickest stem I have ever seen on a 3 week old plant. Seriously, seriously chonky. Her stem is approximately double the girth of the 2nd thickest (plant 5). I think this girl is going to be the star of the grow and the highest yield. What do you think? Day 42:Well its halfway though the flowering cycle at least now and I thought with the genetic mix of her parents that she would be a full 11 week sativa cycle. Seems I may be wrong!!!!. She is beginning to colour up nicely now as though she is headin for the finish line. By far the the most ripe of the 9 strains which is surprising as she was younger and had 2 weeks catching up to do before the flip. She is even looking more advanced than the fast flowering Tester run in here now. The Gz mother was completely done by week 9 so maybe they will follow her rather than the longer Gelato41 time. She smells very fruit sweet with a slight hint of a diesel/gas. She is really oily to touch now and even low down where the larf would normally be a little pointless , she has put out medium sized buds too. . I am very happy with her whole cycle so far and she has not been slouch at all. Seeing her overtake the race and showing off is a win for me and the Birth of GanjaGrandaddyGenetics ,GGG seeds. lol Have 2 strains of my own at harvest nearly now and the Hulklato I featured in the last update has given out a very good 6 oz with around 1oz of that being larf and small buds. Not too bad for a first seed popped. let's see if this little lady can come close to her cousin. The NFT system has made the grow the easiest "hands off " growing i have done. Only needing to top up the res and leave it till it needed it again has been a lazy affair but to see an old school system like this work so well compared to the many others I have since used , has been a surprise. I dont know why NFT dropped off the radar but for anyone who is new to growing , it is a perfect , easy to set up and use medium. Good luck on all your grows. catch you at the next update.
