Day 50 - Started week 8 today with a healthy drink of water and nutes. Things are looking real good with this girl and she’s finally starting to get a bit of frost going on her tops now too. Didn’t do any defoliating today, just gave her a drink and tucked the leaves as best I could. Day 51 - Nothing much new today, just got her out and got some updated pictures. Also did a little defoliating then tucked her back into the tent and tucked the leaves again. She’s budding up nicely and starting to put off a tiny bit of a sweet/creamy smell. Day 52 - She’s budding and frosting up more each day. I did go through today and removed quite a few of the top fan leaves over the middle of the plant to keep everything opened up, they were getting pretty big and overshadowing everything. I tucked everything else in the middle and she should be needing some water tomorrow. Day 54 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today, she was pretty dry. I was also told before to add some molasses to the water so added a bit of that as well and see what it does for her. Went ahead and removed a couple dead lower leaves as well. Looks like she’s about done with her stretching and is just packing on the flowers now. Day 55 - Nothing much new going on today, just removed another couple dead and big fan leaves. The buds are fattening up nicely and starting to smell a bit stronger now. Day 56 - The end of week 8 and she is fattening up nicely and really starting to put out a sweet smell. The pictures don’t do it any justice but some awesome colors coming out as well. She’s drinking a lot of water so I’ll be giving her some more water and nutes tomorrow.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Wow, I can't believe the sea of green my tents turned into! I'm actually amazed all 6 are doing really well for my first time! I've started to add some dutchpro explode to my feed and the buds have done what it says on the tin! Purple queen is still taking the lead and I cannot wait to try her! 😍 she's so sticky and oozing with Trichomes. I've made my own spray that has organic honey, brown sugar, bicarbonate of soda, green tea which I spray on them before I turn the lights out and I'm not sure if it's helping but they are looking amazing weather it's from that or not. I'm not sure how longs left to be honest they seem to be all at different stages at the minute. Hats off to Royal queen seeds for this amazing purple queen pheno I wish it wasn't an auto so I could take some clones 💚

29/08 - First day in week 8. The plant had an amazing stretch in just one week! Very pleased to grow this strain. 31/08 - The plant is drinking a lot! Continuing with LST and rotating the pots trying to even the canopy. The stretch continues. 02/09 - Did a heavy cleaning for better energy distribution. Struggling with the RH, very dry here. I'm watering every other day with 2l of water. The stretch continues. 04/09 - Last day in week 8. The plant is stretching well. Did a little research in other diaries from the same strain and seems that the problems that I had in the previous weeks delayed its development by 1.5-2 weeks.

Plants have bounced back and it’s starting to smell great! My soil grows are killing it. The sugar leaves are getting frosty!

It's been 28 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Esta semana comenze la aplicación de big bud organic y nirvana, además de el b-52 que ya venia aplicando y las bases connoiseur, he rallado una cantidad enorme de brotes bajos que cogian mucho vigor y no iban a prosperar como los apicales.

I think they have finished stretching as their starting to produce bud sites, so hopefully they stay around this size as it’s the sweet spot for me, not too small but not huge trees, their still just under 1m tall.

Day 106. Trim jaiiiiiilllllllll !!!! First done, think it could reach my record 240. Insane quality. 4 rows of solid buds hanging .... Next one .... Both finally finished and honestly, that's my plants to be proud of !!! Day 114. All is done, no doubts its my best grow. Happy Growing !!!

08/27/2021 Been 7 days since last pictures. Pheno #4 was eliminated do to the fact she reversed (hermied) I believe that an outside light was at fault. ( lemon Thai) genetics maybe coming through. Others have not really been affected but pheno #2,3 may have been delayed a bit but no sign of hermies just not as developed as pheno #1(Hulk). Going to mix up a flowering tea (AACT) fungal dominant. Also topdress with Gypsum, and Diatomatious Earth before tea is applied. Gypsum Gypsum is calcium sulfate (CaSO4). Refined gypsum in the anhydrite form (no water) is 29.4 percent calcium (Ca) and 23.5 percent sulfur (S). Usually, gypsum has water associated in the molecular structure (CaSO4·2H2O) and is approximately 23.3 percent Ca and 18.5 percent S (plaster of paris). Diatomatious Earth Diatomaceous earth is a mineral-based pesticide and its composition is approximately 3 percent magnesium, 5 percent sodium, 2 percent iron, 19 percent calcium and 33 percent silicon, along with several other trace minerals 08/29/2021 Posted close ups of Hulk.

Starting week 3 of flower Molasses water Light defoliation

Blütewoche 4 - 04.09. – 11.09.2026 Diese Woche stand vor allem eine größere Entlaubung an. Ich habe ordentlich Blätter entfernt und gleichzeitig einige kleine Triebe aus den unteren, dunkleren Bereichen rausgenommen. Hauptgrund war die momentan ziemlich hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Teilweise lag sie bei 70–80 %, deshalb wollte ich die Pflanze etwas luftiger bekommen und späteren Problemen mit Schimmel möglichst vorbeugen. Mittlerweile bekomme ich die Luftfeuchtigkeit zeitweise schon in Richtung 50–60 %, allerdings schwankt das Ganze momentan ziemlich stark mit dem Wetter und steigt auch mal wieder auf knapp 70 %. Noch mache ich mir deswegen keine großen Sorgen, aber mit zunehmender Blütendichte muss der Wert auf jeden Fall weiter runter. Ansonsten sieht die Utopia Haze wirklich richtig gut aus. Der Stretch scheint mittlerweile weitestgehend durch zu sein und jetzt geht die Energie deutlich in die Blütenproduktion. Die Buds werden langsam kompakter, die weißen Härchen immer zahlreicher und die einzelnen Blütenansätze wachsen Stück für Stück zusammen. Auch die Harzproduktion nimmt ordentlich Fahrt auf. Die Zuckerblätter sind mittlerweile richtig schön mit Harz überzogen und die Pflanze klebt wie Hulle. Gleichzeitig wird auch der Geruch immer intensiver. Momentan würde ich ihn als sehr süßlich-würzig beschreiben, mit einer zusätzlichen Note, die ich noch nicht so richtig zuordnen kann. Alles in allem bin ich mit der Entwicklung gerade super zufrieden. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie sich die Buds in den kommenden Wochen weiter aufbauen.

But context matters. Under LED lighting: • Leaf surface temp runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient • There is no heavy infrared load like under HPS • Transpiration behaves differently So if: • Room = 28 °C • Leaf ≈ 24–26 °C • RH = 65% Leaf-level VPD sits in a comfortable early-flower range. We do not calculate room VPD in isolation. We observe plant behavior. And the plants confirm stability: • Upright posture • No tacoing • No clawing • Strong internode spacing • Healthy green without tip burn We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. That’s different. ⸻ 🌿 Feeding Strategy — Why EC 2.4 Is Intentional These GMO Cookies are evolving fast. De really took flight from last week, should be starting flowering theese days coming. Just watering them with normal water and some tomatonutrition every now and then. Im happy they look so well in this type of scandinavian climate.

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.
