I finally got them in the garden! It was a trip getting out there, so they don't look the greatest because they're stressed. I made a video explaining almost everything except I forgot to mention that I added about 5-10% Biochar in with the Fox farm potting soil. Also, the row cover will protect against pests.

Hello Growmies, We're now at week 11 with our Epic Buzz, and the flowering stage is hitting its stride. The buds are making their presence known, stretching around the colas in a spectacular display, and I'm starting to see the early stages of trichome production. This glittering onset is a clear indicator that our plant is entering a peak phase of resin production. In response to this, I've increased the resin-specific nutrients to support and enhance this natural process. Epic Buzz is proving to be quite the thirsty one, almost depleting her 2-liter daily water ration, which has led to a few challenging moments. The small reservoir size has resulted in occasional nutrient lockouts due to the rapid water consumption. However, I've adapted quickly, now refilling the reservoir every two to three days to keep ahead of these issues. These adjustments in our watering schedule are critical, as they prevent the water level from falling too low, which could stress the plant and impede her progress. It's a delicate dance of vigilance and response, ensuring that Epic Buzz receives the consistent care she needs to flourish. As we move deeper into the flowering phase, the anticipation grows each day. Watching the buds develop and the trichomes proliferate is a daily joy, a reminder of why we cultivate these wonderful plants. With each challenge overcome and every new development, the bond between grower and plant strengthens. I'm looking forward to what the next weeks will bring us. The final stages of flowering are always the most exciting, as we watch the fruits of our labor come to full maturity. July 27: still growing fast. The new growth is a bit yellow and I haven’t decided what that’s due to. Lack of sulphate or excess Phosphorus are the two options I think. Anyway, she’s doing fine and is startling to preflower. 👍 Started using a 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk. This is called phyto-forcing apparently because it promotes flowering. I really love science when it figures out random shit like how photosynthesis and light wavelength (or colour) interact. Outdoor plants naturally see a flash of far red light just before darkness and this light kind of ‘puts it to sleep’ or into dark mode two hours faster. So, two extra hours darkness or a 26 hour day. Sounds bogus but is totally legit. July 28: foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. July 30: plant is looking great. The yellow on the new growth has faded and is now a better looking shade of green. I think it might have been excess P because the other plants kind of had it too and the timing was a couple days after adding barley and Power Bloom. This is right at the start of flowering when plants need lot of P, and the yellow is fading, so I’ll just let it go without doing anything about it. She’ll get over it.

2020-10-21 I had so much fun with FREAKSHOW, from Day one they were looking sooooooooo Funny and freaky Plants smelled quite early, in early vgetation they started. with lovely scents They were growing very tall Like 160 cm, and then they developed Buds like Cotton Blooms absloutely Eyecatching ( and the smell!!!!!!) wohoo😱 Plant itself dont needs much, out of good waterings and Love. very less fertiliser I cut 2 clones of her , to have always some " Freakshow" at home.

As I did the flushing in day 70 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang the whole plant to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed about yield and numbers. So far really happy with the results. It will probably be the champs of this run yielding nicely 👍🏼.

The week went well. She has a funk to her now that as soon as I kill the fan it smacks you right in the face. Some of the pistils are beginning to amber. Just waiting for her to fatten up and finish. I believe this will be my biggest producing auto yet.

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

Some huge colas on two of them. I need to run them again. This strain is a true champion. Yield, looks, resin, terps everything on point. I don’t really mind that she needs some extra time. 9 weeks minimum. 29.09 Cleared runoff. Full tanks ec 1.6 ph 6.2 Removed one top bud of vf2 and g3 due to botrytis. But addition of particulate filters and uvc lamp seems to have helped a lot. It’s been very humid this time around. Even now in the late stage of flower it’s high 60%

Day 78 - these gnarly buds are so dense! a. will be using Ripen blend now b. going the distance with this lady, there are many little solid calyx like buds all over the place c. still about 20+ days to go d. the smell is INTENSE, the resin production is incredible Day 79 - she loves Ripen a. buds grew everywhere b. will be getting 2 full weeks of ripen, then flush with FloraKleen e. changed to an 18/6 light schedule to generate even more resin Day 80 - swelling a. all the little buds are swelling up b. the top buds are gnarly as hell on this plant, the smell though is so intense Day 81 - buds are still growing a. growth occurring all over the place b. like Dinafem says, the buds will become too heavy for the branches and you MUST tie them up, they will bubble out and grow like crazy c. I captured some video of the sativa calyx jungle today d. this plant LOVES GHE Ripen! Day 82 - explosions everywhere a. the calyx like buds are exploding all over the place Day 83 - smells great a. love this classic haze smell! Day 84 - this plant is a MUTANT MONSTER!

23.05. today is the end of the fourth week for the plants, they haven't progressed much since last week, they grew a few cm and gained a little weight, but they are healthy, which is the most important thing... in a few days I will transplant them and top them because some of them have already developed the sixth pair of leaves, so I simply have to top them. turned out... I thought of transplanting them into 10-liter pots and after two to three weeks into 50-liter holes, however, the weather didn't cooperate, and I was already late anyway because of the bad weather, and because of the same, my plants in the fourth week were the same as they should have been in the second, and because of the same, I couldn't even transplant earlier... now that nothing went according to the "plan", of course, I don't know how smart it is to transplant them into 10 L and then into 50 with the fact that it is with me the longest day of the year is June 22, so that actually a week after that it can start flowering (it usually starts at the end of July or at the end of August, but it can be late and start even in September, and it also knows how to plow and start already at the end of June)...now I think that it is better to buy smart pots of 50-60 liters and immediately transplant into them and then just bury them...another problem with that is that the soil that I took for vegetation has food in it for a month days, if I transplant twice, it may happen that it enters flowering, and the food for the vegetation has not yet been used up, and that would be a problem...advices are welcome Stay high!!!

Space is limited and I'm struggling with the time to keep up with these plants since things are back to normal on my parts of town. Just gonna keep about eye on em at keep defoliating. Plants were flipper after a month veg.
