Week 9 December 23rd Hooked up the microscope took some shots. Getting the dry room engineered and just trying to stay at least a step ahead . This rDWC adventure has been tricky indeed. I’m losing balance somewhere if you read the leaves up close you can see some “signs” and she has about a week left ish before we start the finish up process for harvest December 24th She has slowed down on nutrient consumption and water uptake December 25th I’m at the res change time .sitting at an EC of 1.0 . I have been adding ph distilled water for keeping water levels up and diluting while the vpd went up idk I’ll see what happens next and eventually be able to spot issues early on with better consistency. 2 Black Cherry Gelato 🍒 Clones from my clone guy- 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension. Garage grow SoCal. Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to develop and gain weight. Trichomes are coming along. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. This week has gone exceptionally well!! Already started the training process struggled with height last time but this time I am preparing early. (No bottom buds). These ladies are growing very well and fast. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

5th week of flower, the plant has stopped growing and focused on the buds. Both plants look nice, I’m hoping the 3 gallon plant gets fatter before the end though.

Straight forward week. Light, water, CO2 then repeat. Julie's color looks fine and she has a nice stalk with some thick sub branches. Hopefully i will get a good canopy out of her since the tie down stakes I was using to pin her down couldn't hold her down anymore. I traded out the 1200W COB LED for a smaller 1000W COB LED in order to bring the temp down. Air is about 5 degrees cooler if i keep the door to the batcave open.

Sometimes it may be good, sometimes it may be shit. When you don't care for your plants it do be shit. Let this be a lesson for the future and also for those who think growing its just placing a seed in the ground, if you don't care for it, you get weed but not the highest grade. Altho i must say all of the auto's from this round were pretty good at smoking with the exception of one that tasted like a fart in a jar lost in the ocean for a decade, that meanwhile was eaten and shat by a whale, not good, but the others were pretty good, enjoyable to say the least.

Buds are starting to get really fat on 3 of the 4 plants. No amber on the trichomes yet so it will be a few more weeks till harvest at a minimum. The one that did the most stretching is just starting to thicken up on the buds. Been having issues with my drainage system causing a bit flooding in my tent. I see a few signs of deficiencies on one of the plants but I can't properly have access to it to see what is going on. The 4x4 tent has proven to be just too small for these thicc ladies. After this grow I'll be getting a much bigger tent. Any recommendations?

Beginning of week 10(veg): Wow the progress this week. Biggie smalls(Short one) really took off. I added my flowering LED light for these girls and they are loving it! I moved the girls into the flower tent for now. The ventilation inside my closet is horrible and I think I’m seeing white mildew spots on some leaves =( Now that they’ve been inside the grow tent for about 4 days I don’t see any signs of the white spots, which is a relief. I defoliated biggie smalls yesterday, which made it so I could really see the branch structure underneath there. I’m really happy with what I see, some really good looking branches. They no longer need the ties, they seem to be growing how I want them to, and when they don’t I give them a little bend to match the canopy height. I’m going on vacation in a month so I set purchased a drip system from amazon. After spending about 20 minute setting it up, and then painstakingly driving the stakes into the roots of my plants, I realized the product didn’t actually work. I’ve purchased another pump and some hosing, we’ll give this another go when it arrives. I’ll be feeding them again tomorrow. One more week of veg for Biggie Smalls and then she’s going for 2 days of darkness and flower. Really excited for that. Hopefully she continues the strong growth over the next week.

Will do report later, its a clone put against RQS Royal Cookie disaster ... Outdoors will be moved inside to finish, they just don't mature outside anymore, too cold, lost biggest cola to bud rot already.... Added video comparison of bud development under late autumns sun vs. warm LED Quantum Board. Today outdoor will move inside. Update will follow ! Day 5 off drying. When you enter your dry room and see such tooth picks - you harvested TOO EARLY !!!!! ;))) I kinda knew it, but still such sad picture ... Couple more days and dry result will show it all. Will try get another nutrient week out of her before flush 👌💚

The candycane seems to be not growing too much is just seems to be packing on some weight on those buds so I don't think they're going to grow much more the heights are like this: 21.5 inch 15.5 inch. I also seem to have a problem with nitrogen deficiency possibly . They have a very light scent of a fruity sweets candy if I can describe it somehow. I will post more pictures without the grow light on so is better view of how the plant are doing . Day 45 today I feed my plants solution a little bit heavy on the nitrogen in order to try to flush out any build-up salt that could be causing a lockout or simply just i haven't water enough because I don't I like poured too much water on to them to avoid actually run out.thank you for reading I have a happy grow.

Day 1- watered Day 2- 😴 Day 3- 😴 Day 4- I need to feed tent 1 tomorrow. Gonna up the nutes from last week since they dont seem to be getting caught up. Can see 1st signs of flowering so I'm gonna experiment a bit with additives and see if I can see a noticeable winner or possibly no difference at all. Day 5- Fed tent#1 14ml advanced trio, 1ml floralicous +, .6ml mammoth p. 1/8tsp flower fuel per/gal. Tent#2 got 2.5ml armor si, 5ml tiger bloom, .6ml mammoth p/gal. Pulled each plant out and cleaned up the bottoms and middles, washed trays and gave a very light dusting diatomaceous earth on underside of leaves. Hoping that will keep any spider mites that think fucking with me again this year will be fun, dead as shit and disappointed. Got a bunch of cuts for clones now too. That's gonna be tomorrow me's problem though lol. Day 6- 🚫 Day 7- well I'll be a son of a bitch...guess what I found? Spider mites. Got to try out my new eradication method I thought up months ago using diatomaceous earth and an air compressor. (Almost a week later and I cant find a mite anywhere 😁) STEP 1- Turn off your carbon filter so u dont plug it up then dust the hell out of everything with diatomaceous earth. I wanted it to look like a thick fog and let the fans blow it all around. I'd go fog it back up every 10-15 minutes for an hr or so. STEP 2- Starting with the worst, pull each plant out of the tent and blow off with 60psi (4bar) compressed air(see video) STEP 3- Inspect the plant and blow off any mites u find with the air gun. I used a LED flashlight to make it easy to see them. STEP 4- After the plant appears mite free give another dusting of diatomaceous earth.(see video) STEP 5- clean tent. Vacuum up all the DE and blow dust out of lights. STEP 6- Put plants back in the tent and start your carbon filter if u have 1. In theory this should take care of current mites and any eggs that hatch. Check daily and repeat steps 2-4 as necessary.

Blue had a solid start right out of the gate. She grew nice thick, full leaves and was happy as a clam cake.... Until I decided to FIM 🤦‍♀️. I had originally planned on topping her like her tent mate, but someone suggested a FIM, I had never done it before, so I thought, "Why not?!" Well Blue didn't seem to like it all that much, and as she began to grow out I did a poor job of opening her up enough to get proper sub-canopy circulation. I think this was mostly due to a combination of me not knowing what to expect from a FIM in regards to its grow pattern and not having a clear vision of my end game from the start, and the fact that Blue Dream'matic seems to just be a generally "bushy" plant and my natural grow style didn't adapt quickly enough to due her justice. Looking back now, I should have done a better job at doing a bit more defoliation than I did - but I found myself holding back once I had realized the stress I caused the plant from the FIM. That was a mistake. Over the rest of her grow she took a nice turn for the better. I went through and stripped some of the lower buds and opened up her underbrush as best as I could. She ended up giving me some nice fat trichome covered buds in return. I cut her down and hung her in my climate controlled closet holding 69.8°F and 55%RH. Six days later she was jarred up. Blue Dream'matic gave me 85g/3.0oz of quality bud plus an additional 1.9oz of popcorn bud. A day after being in jars I noticed the humidity in the jars was 79%, so I put the buds into some brown paper bags overnight, and this morning I let them get some more air. The buds being so large are sneakily holding more moisture than I had realized. I'll update with my strain review once she's done curing. ✌️000

Just flipped these girls into there new home. Lets see how they do. Will be running this grow with a line called bio vital. It includes humic acid, folic acid, sea kelp, molasses and benificials. Hearing good things about it. Lets see how she does.

Was doing a lot more pruning clearing out the sense under brush. Plants are drinking considerably more now.

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur.
