XperencdGmanXG Still running on 16 hours of light in the seedling tank because I do not have space for her in the veg closet right now thanks to mother nature this year. Getting bushy and tight nodal spacing, that's what I like to see.

XperencdGmanXG Well she is just waiting for spring to clean out the veg closet so We can let her spread her wings for round 2. She has almost outgrown the seedling station.
XperencdGmanXG no room to plant this one in a pot so just put her where I can until the big ones go outdoors. Thinking I may just put her outdoors and then take some clones from her for indoors next month.

XperencdGmanXG Finally the Shogun is outdoors! She tolerated being planted well. No visible signs of stress. I watered her in well. Root ball was not as big as I would have liked so I planted her deeper than normal to compensate.

XperencdGmanXG I was amazed that this little shogun that could survived the mini drought we are having on a single watering of 12gal of water when i planted it with half the rootball it should have had. Totally amazed! I came around the corner a week later and she was praying to the sun, and she grew 12" amazing! I gave all the girls a foliar spray of Armour Si and Marinis Liquid seaweed. I will continue with the foliar spray of Armour si weekly until flower then i will switch to armour si in the water weekly. This will help strengthen the plant and trichs are btwn 75 and 87% silica. Can't overstate how important silica is to great cannabis. not to mention the physical resistance the plants gets from it as well. Resistance to wind damage, bug, mould, fungus and bugs.

XperencdGmanXG You can see the nice healthy colour from the Seaweed foliar spray last week, Will keep that up bi weekly until first flower. Another 12 gal of water for each plant this week as there seems to be no end to this drought. Added blood and bone meal to keep the plant going well into the end of august. And the weekly Silica Foliar spray.

XperencdGmanXG another week of no rain right after a 100mm storm. Plants are in full bloom now and need a regular supply of water. I hope mother nature starts to co operate here.
XperencdGmanXG This girl is stacking so nicely for someone who got very little grow time outdoors before the onset of flower. 2nd generation of shogun I have grown but never smoked, so I still don't know if its any good. LoL Something tells me this one is going to be something special. Lets see.

XperencdGmanXG wow! this girl also took the fish shit i gave her last week and turned it into huge buds! I am going to do this every year from now onwards. No visible PWM either, just like the others. Will go out to the pot patch mid week after this leftover weather from hurricane Fiona clears to see how they fared in the high humidity and low temps.

XperencdGmanXG well, it's been cold over nights for the past week. They are taking the cold well and are bulking up nicely. We will see how the fared the cold snap that is supposed to happen next week.
Love the lineage of this variety. Also love the way this one grows liked its already been topped. Love the node structure and overall plant. Think I am going to start a breeding program with this one.

XperencdGmanXG Pretty resistant to wpm but still susceptible. I'd like to breed in more resistance but that may lower cbd content. So we will see what she taste like and go from there and
I love this! Remembers me as a grower in bush in the early '90s.
Inspires me to do a video log to . (Way easier and more fun)👊
What Silica do you use? Do you spray it or dust the leaves.
See so much md makes me nervous, but outdoors this is a different story!
Love seeing you having fun ( smoking is only 50%of it) ! A lot of work in prep. Huh ? 😅
@SanderanderS, General Hydroponics Armor Si its a liquid once a week in foliar spray up till 2nd week flower then u start putting it in the water as a root drench. foliar spray only needed for outdoor application, indoors putting it in every watering is enough you dont have to do indoors as a foliar spray. Growing Cannabis is hard, honest work for sure. The smoking is the prize.
