Week 25 - Frosty buds! Finally some time this weekend to defoliate! And look what I found: lots of frosty buds. The smell is delicious. Sweet lavender aromas, very warm. I like it a lot. Is this what she will taste like, too? Harvest is close.

Well, the drought stress in week 11 really fucked my plants up, but Twiggy recovered, while Zoey was hurt pretty bad. If I did nothing, I'm betting harvest would've been 25% more, and Zoey's buds wouldn't look so crappy, but overall, I was so happy with this grow! I was under a time crunch, so only did minimal veg for 4 weeks, topping once. Daily watering with 1.8EC mix that was pretty consistent. Kept pH between 5.5 and 5.8. Kept tight control on humidity and temperature up to mid flower, then kept air circulation on to keep room humidity around 55% Things I'd do differently: 1. Veg longer - I'd love to try a mainline 2. Canopy control - wish I had spent the time on a SCROG screen, or at least a couple of rings. 3. More light sooner into flower. Waited about 4 weeks into flower before maxing out the light. Probably could've bulked them up significantly if I started earlier 4. Drought stressing - For Fucks Sake, keep a close eye on your plants, and the minute they start to wilt, get the water back on 'em!!! 5. Measure your run-off more frequently for salt build-up. Didn't have any problems, but it's a good best practice. 6. Set up proper closed-loop environment to allow for CO2 enrichment. 7. Set up a clone environment before you get to flower. Oops. Things I was happy with: 1. VPD control system (heat, humidity) during veg and early flower worked flawlessly. Never any nute burn, and super healthy plants. 2. Sterilized soil and grow-room before starting - never had a single bug or any mold/mildew issues. Used a MERV 13 filter on the air intake, exhaust through carbon to crawlspace. 3. Coco/perlite mix - super drainage, low build-up, very healthy roots. 4. Power meter - neat way to measure what's really going into the grow, so when your wife complains about power usage, you can show her the real numbers. 5. Photone app on Android S20 - Knew where my PPFD was for optimal growth control. 6. REX-C100 PID controller for toaster oven - super tight temperature control comes in handy for decarbing as well as toasting oak for moonshine.

Last week of veg for those girls ! I defoliated a bit 5 days ago and im planing on switching to 12/12 in 5/8 days ! They are happy tho 😁. What are ur thoughts guys ?

Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. These girls sure stretched this week. Wow. I see 1 top about 10 inches from the top of the tent. That one branch might get super cropped if it keeps going up. Near the end of this week I want to get in here and do a final trim/prune. Paying attention to fan leaves that don't get enough light on the bottom and fan leaves that block light on the top. If you have a big plant try to leave 4 to 8 fanleaves at the end of each branch, with 8 on the lower branches and 4 on the smaller upper branches. I will also have a good look at the small branches to see if they are sucker branches or if they will put out a small bud. I know that I will put the plant into shock for a few days with the trim/pruning, but when the plant heals and starts to grow again it will go right into resin production, full speed. I will, generally not touch the plants till the end after that. I might take a few fanleaves off that block the light and I'll take off any yellow or dyeing leaves from the bottom too. Came into the tent a couple of days ago to water the plants and saw that the fan blade had disintegrated in it's cage, but it spewed out small bits of plastic all over the plants closest to them. About 5 weeks ago my other fan stopped working in the same place. Not enough lube I'm guessing. so I went and got that blade and it fit. So I didn't have to buy a new fan. 😃 I've got to get in here and vacuum that up before the resin starts flowing. Don't need small bits of plastic in my resin. 😝 See which fan blow up in the video. Oh yes, I also had to replace a automatic opening roof vent this week. It hardly opened a inch on a hot day. I bought one off Amazon, it was here in 3 days, and it works great. Ok. See ya next week. 03/01 - Day 57 All the girls have their pistils changing colors, buds growing by the day, (B) has has very sweet aromas coming out, & (C) is more earthy and peppery. Still losing some fan leaves here and there on (A) & (D) from the Cal/Mag & Phosphorus defiance but nothing like 2 weeks ago. 03/05 - Day 61 Enjoying the process and maintaining the environment. Buds on (B), (C), & (D) are starting to get heavy. Maybe some foxtails starting on (C)??

Last Obi-Wan girl was left in dark for 3 days and then chopped on day 66 and is now drying. She was definitely the largest of all 4 plants in the tent. Cant wait to see the dry weight on this girl! Next update will be when all the bud is dry and we have a final weight for all 3 together. The first one we chopped only gave us just over 4oz dried but she was half the size as the other 3 girls and kinda lower in the corner. Pulled 7.4oz off the Wedding Cake in the same tent/setup and these last 2 Obi-Wan’s that are still drying are bigger then she was by a lot I think. Cheers 💨

March 7, 2019 update: These babies are doing great! I plan on transplanting 6 plants and moving them into the flowering room this weekend. As of right now my plan is to move 1 DinaMed CBD, 1 Medi Kush CBD and 4 Cherry Hemp plants into flower. I'm going to pick the largest/most developed plants for the move. Then I'll keep the rest in veg for another month, next month I'll pick the next 6. I'd like to get the plants on a monthly rotation so I can be harvesting monthly.

The tale of the Goddesses is ending. Through this grow, I have given tribute to matriarchs-my grandmother and my mother who have influenced who I am in this world. I’ve showcased their art, photographs, and their lifetimes. I shared our family history through old photos while also showcasing the art of Alphonse Mucha in the Art Neuveux style he created in the early 1900's. The femininity reflected in his art elevates women to Goddesses with their flowing hair and floral backgrounds. In the diary I indicated I wanted to be a healer in my younger years. I wasn't a medical professional by career choice, but I provide natural nontoxic solutions for cleaning and beauty products and have for my family and friends for over 25 years. Not only are the items healthy and clean, but they are also effective and save you money. And who doesn't want that? I added the song Woman by Iris Gold. Have a listen in you tube or amazon music. This is one of the most famous works in design history. Taking its cue from a new kind of female beauty, its modern girl has hair with a life of its own. The tendrils look more like the floating tentacles of a jellyfish. This is in vast contrast to the style of the times when women wore their hair tightly pulled up on their heads. The iconic 'Mucha woman' had curves, flowing hair, pastel robes, and often a halo of light or flowers. His women burst with life. I have mixed emotions about my grow and harvest. My results indicate I have a lot to learn. This was my 3rd grow and I still have problems with over feeding my auto girls. wh For all future grows I will reduce any synthetic fertilizer to 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dosage. Overfeeding caused clawing and canoeing followed by nutrient lockout. While I was trying to correct this problem, flushing for 3 weeks to get out the excess fertilizers and salts, the girls were already overmature and past harvest. Checking trichomes at 10 weeks, there were few trichomes and didn't see much more until week 12. I checked with my phone camera at 10x magnification every other day. I saw lots of clear, then clear and milky, then all milky but never did I see any amber trichomes. The plants began to reveg based on the King Crown buds developing (see pics in week 15). The CBG may have degraded to CBN since I was 3-4 weeks late in harvest. If that is true, I don't mind since I need sleep medicine too. I lost Circe at the end due to aphid infestation. Ater several power washing with the hose on jet, we could not get the bugs off. So, I chopped her and into the trash she went. I did only minor defoliation near the end of the grow but neither plant was very leafy. For future grows, I will defoliate on a schedule, do some stress training maybe fimming, lollypopping, and defoiliating. Note to self: when buying seeds, look for more growing information on the strain such as when trichomes are expected and days to harvest. Knowledge is power. On the flip side, my happiness comes from the completion of a grow the harvest was 57 grams of smoke and 26 grams trim was not the highest yield but workable for what I need. As I indicated in the beginning, my plan, in addition to enjoying the smoke, is to put CBG in my health & beauty products. So, you don't have to wait for me to make mine, I've loaded a pain salve recipe above from Emily Kyle for a CBD or THC. The recipe shown makes 3/4 cup but can be doubled or halved. I'm, so excited I have decarbed my CBG trim and will use to make this formula while the buds are curing. I will also include some Lemon auto which is 17:17 CBD:THC to give it some other cannabinoids. I'll also put the recipe in the recipe diary. CBG will go in the coconut oil I use in my toothpaste ( recipe loaded in recipe file) If you follow me, check my recipe diary periodically as I will add new food and beauty recipes in future grows.
