day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

My nine Week 7 flowers are thriving under the new GrowPro Solutions under-canopy lights. The lights have really brought out some amazing colors in the buds. It's so cool to see how much they've changed in just a day! I'm excited to see how they develop even more in the coming weeks

Week 10 The Trichomes are cloudy and some are amber, their production are so huge that looks like a snow blizzard frosted over the nugs! The Plant has dryed after a flush and been left in complete darkness 2 days ago! The smell reek the entire house! It´s time for Harvest! 👌 RQS fabric pots 😎 VS cheap ebay fabric pots 💩 Extra oxygen to the roots can help extend cannabis growth rates, in RQS pots, cannabis plants will not become “root-bound”, which is when roots cover the ends of the container and “choke” the plant. It is a very big problem for any plant to become root bound, but in these, that doesn’t happen since the plant will receive plenty of air, which will lead to the plant naturally “air pruning” itself, and forgoing the roots wrapping around the container edges. Because the air comes in from all sides, your plant will receive a lot of oxygen, and thereby avoid getting “wet feet” from overwatering. When water sits in your pot for too long, it can lead to root rot and other diseases that put your crop at risk. Because of such consistent air-filtration, pots will have to be irrigated more frequently because the soil will continually dry out from the exposure. Still your plants will ultimately be protected from over watering and the problems that arise from it. This pots comes with handles, which makes transportation easier and they´re built with top quality materials, wich make them more rigid than cheap fabric pots that i experienced before, rigidity means easily moving pots around and RQS pots rigid shape reduces damage to plants and roots during transportation and prevents from folding over during filling or watering. Ciao a tutti! Ho saltato le prime due settimane di crescita, perciò partirò dalla terza. Il giorno 15 ho sostituito la mia vecchia lampada Niello crew cob da 600 Watt (falsi) ad una MarsHydro TS2000 da 300 Watt (reali). In soli tre giorni ho potuto vedere una crescita incredibile degli internodi. Come substrato ho usato BioBizz, 35% all mix - 65% light mix. Per le prime settimane solo acqua con pH 6.2/6.3 e all'occorrenza 2 ml/l di olio di Neem (ho avuto un infestazione di moscerini proveniente dal sottosuolo, al momento sotto controllo). Sono sprovvisto di umidificatore, perciò all'occorrenza bagno le pareti per avere dei valori migliori (senza intervenire l'umidità si stabilizza al 47%, bagnando cerco di mantenerla >50/55%).

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Info and pictures were taken at day 12 of flower. Nice progress this week. There's plenty of new growth. She hasn't grown upwards as much as the other ladies, only about 5 cm this week. BUT she's got a darker green color, stronger smell than all the others. It's smell is unique and very strong. Not sweet, VERY pungent, it's a slap in the face kind of smell. Her bud formation is also more advanced than all the other girls. That's something I need to watch out for because she's an early finisher. Supposedly finishes in 40 - 45 days. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. That's it for now. Day 50 - Fully recovered from defoliation, starting to show signs of flowering.... Day 51 - Added some pics.... i forgot to turn on the 600w light panel after i turned it off for something... this was during the swap over to flower... so they were on mostly 2700k for afew days... Day 54 - Added some pics/vid, in the sunshine.... looking good, starting to flower..... pics of roots coming out everywhere... might have to defoliate some more..... 😎 Day 55 - Added some pics, they look happy in the light :) The girls are drinking alot, i'm still just bottom saucer watering, and just wet the top soil every few days.... It's alot easy way of letting them drink as much as they want without me over feeding them, The 8 ml/1 lt of dutch master gold one, is approx. working out to 800 ppm and about 6 PH mixed (i just add it until it's 800ppm), and i'm making up a 2 lt bottle of that every few days.... i think i'll have to go upto 1000-1200 ppm soon.... Both girls have root balls fully taking up every bit of room in the pots soil, the roots are coming out the top of the dirt, and out the bottom of the pots.... i'll take some pics of the roots and ventilation/exhaust, this week... The ventilation , exhaust, and filter are working properly, now that i have worked out the proper setup, there is no smell, and it has no impact to the home, other than the size of the tent. Something to notice is the home DIY LED setup i built, and the color in the pics, notice the yellowy sunlight color spectrum of the LEDs .... the details of the lights are in previous weeks...... I deliberately sent my 2 ladies into flower 2 months earlier. roughly the 12/12h rule. Sometimes it was 10 hours in the sun, but sometimes 12 hours. In my region it will soon be rainy and cold. I'm toying with the idea of harvesting them before I catch mold or something else. The trichomes are all milky. About 15-20% amber colored.

End of week 6 for this lady. Great week for Orange Sherbet FF she is bouncing back really good from the issues she had in earlier weeks. She still developing slow. The leaves looks really good and healthy. I did a good defoliation to the botton so she can receive more light. For week 7 she only is going to receive water and cal-mag so she can continue with the recovering.

Top dressed Asman and Asal with a tablespoon of Dr. Earth Bloom and 3 tbs of worm castings. Added terpinator, microbials and molasses to calmag'd water. Benesh got fed last week with the same load/mix and is doing great. No defoliation or much training early this week. Did some heavier defoliation on Sunday to give more of the bigger and higher buds space. Will make a TCHA tincture off of the defoliated buds, which I will add to later. Lovely mint and chocolate aromas on my fingers after the defoliation.

These girls are not getting even like distribution however they are coming up pretty good with branche.

Saturday March 19th GrowUpdate: Here’s my 10x10 grow setup with multiple strains growing. I am testing my 2 new BloomPlusXP4000’s and so far love them!! I have TOPGREENER heavy duty smart plugs with energy monitoring hooked up to both my lights and exhaust fan. I can turn on and off from anywhere on my phone. Govee Wi-Fi Bluetooth hygrometers that send me notifications and I can check the temp and humidity from anywhere on my phone. Globe smart power strip with 4 sockets that can be run individually from my phone.

Day 44: This afternoon I received the Air Pot and then I immediately mounted one and put in the soil a seed of Amnesia Haze Automatic of the Royal Queen bringing the total of the plants to 15: 8 Gorilla + 1 that has yet to germinate, 4 Cheese (2 large and 2 small) and an Amnesia Haze Auto all from Royal Queen Seeds + 1 x LSA Lemon Haze. At the moment I moved the small Lemon Haze under the new LED + CFL setup to provide a greater amount of direct light. Then under the 600w HPS lamp there are 12 plants and in the grow room 3, the Lemon Haze + 1 Gorilla and 1 Amnesia awaiting germination. However, I decided to leave the grow room open. The crops are close and I connected all three lamps to a single timer with cycle 19/5. Also with this system the plants in the grow room will receive more air and therefore more oxygen, carbon dioxide etc. and a small amount of light coming from the HPS lamp. Day 48: The six Gorillas in advanced bloom have stopped growing in height and have started to form larger gems. The final height of the 8 Gorillas is about 150 centimeters for 3 specimens, and 120 centimeters for the remaining 5 plants of which 2 are in late flowering. The production of numerous sugar leafs is also a sign that the final flowering phase has begun. I think I can collect the first cola in two or three weeks. The sweet smell of resin in this phase begins to become more intense. In this session I photographed the plants one by one before placing them in the final position. In this last position I have rebuilt all the plants, including the two Big Cheese.

The overall cycle was a lengthy process for a fast version variety. Therefore, I would personally consider this as a normal photoperiod type based on this growth experience. However, the results were worth waiting for and produced some extravagant buds with colours unseen before. The taste is somewhat Berry fruity affect along with earth like aroma (I smoke pure cannabis only). Good head high followed by relaxation somewhat, overall excellent plant and would consider growing again. Bit disappointing on the dry weight but its all satisfying in the end. I may try Geotextile pots next time to help boost the yield and performance.
