Hi everyone! Sorry for the late post I've had a lot of personal crap holding me back but I'm on the bounce back and trying to catch up with everything. Couple lessons learnt on this one. I'm going to run this strain again but a little differently based on experience from this grow, the plants were ready at week 8 barring flush so I reckon I can cut away two weeks of flower time and start my plain water flush at week 7 and chop at week 8 instead of 10 which will be great as I will be adding at least one but most likely two of those weeks to the veg time so my turnaround will be the same but my end yield should hopefully be much better. This grow is by far my best quality end product, hard nugs, caked in trichs, stinky as hell water and strong as a Russian circus freak. Yield however was not as expected from 2 meter squared using a 600w hps and 450w Ied I wanted 20-25 oz and I got 15 but I know where I went wrong as previously mentioned and I have set a challenge to do it again hitting 25oz, same strain, same system, same nutes, 1 extra plant, 1-2 weeks extra veg time and 1-2 weeks less flower time. Little Elsa my Ice princess Start in her 3 week and you can see she grow every day more and more with her leaves. Until day 20 i give her a light LST for 2 Leaves. The plan to do nothing to her except watering is blowing away … That will be not the only thing…you will see the next weeks. ^^

We arrive on the Last week of the L.A.kush from stranger'seeds, i love These Strain and how beautiful cola's u get, i also take two cuts from it, to grow the Genetic. I do have still a small blueafghan+ sourdiesel , Also I think one week more and they're ready to go

Just look at it. All deformed and shit. Already has a fat stem on it.. maybe the nutes should be toned down? God knows. 4/2. It's like it's growing sooooo many leaves... plain water at end of week. Contemplating defoliating it...

I got some new lights this week, so am looking forward to seeing the difference led can do, getting awesome growth from the auto's, and the fem seeds are going well too. All is well in the garden this week other than the Lsd 25 auto seed, which is struggling still, wet feet may be, I will try to dry the pot, before more water is fed. Any ideas?

Day 47 or so I haven’t measured her so the height can’t be right she’s huge! And getting so heavy. Took some photos of her in the dark while I pretreated the tent for mites or any other fuckers who like to ruin the day. Just in case. Since I recycled soil it couldn’t hurt. It’s a week full of growth, observations, and some lessons to share. ⸻ 🌿 Current Status • Both plants are looking healthy, vigorous, and branching strong. • White hairs (pistils) continue to thicken and spread — the first signs of real bud-building. • Leaves show some spots, likely a touch of CalMag deficiency. This is not uncommon at this stage, as the plants’ demands for calcium and magnesium rise sharply during heavy metabolic activity. To support them, I’ve kept the full nutrient recipe steady this week and reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to strengthen the nutritional foundation and bounce them back quickly. ⸻ 💧 Nutrient Recipe (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – cell wall support & stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – to address spotted leaves and support photosynthesis • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – reintroduced this week to balance the base nutrition and help recovery from early deficiency signs • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – pushing bud development, resin, and flavor complexity ⚠️ Note on feeding adjustments: This week we removed Top Booster from the mix. While it’s a great stimulator during certain flower stages, running it alongside Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation risks overlapping too much PK. Too much of a good thing can cause stress, salt build-up, or nutrient lockouts. By keeping the recipe focused and balanced, the Lava Cakes can thrive without overload. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temperatures: Lower this week (relief!) thanks to cooling efforts. • Humidity: Still running a little high, sometimes hovering beyond the ideal. • Airflow: Two 6-inch exhausts + intake, all carbon filtered. This, along with fans inside, should keep the air moving and avoid stagnant moisture pockets. ⚠️ Note: Higher humidity at this stage can invite mold or mildew risks, but with strong airflow and constant air renewal, we’re reducing the chances. The Lava Cakes showed us some leaf spots, and in return, we adjusted by reintroducing All-in-One Liquid while simplifying the booster recipe. This isn’t just about correcting deficiencies — it’s about preparing them for the heavier bloom demands to come. With lower temperatures, steady airflow, and a carefully tuned recipe, the girls are thriving. Every day brings more white hairs, more structure, and more anticipation for what’s ahead. ⸻ 🔬 Science Spotlight: Nutrient Antagonism One of the biggest hidden challenges in mid-flower is nutrient antagonism — when too much of one element blocks the uptake of another. • Excess phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) (often from bloom boosters) can interfere with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) absorption.
