Day 101, been cutting off fan leaves on lower nodes, adding ice cubes and spraying cold water on buds. Expecting about 5 more weeks till harvest but I don’t know just guessing Also I don’t know how to change the question so I’m gonna put it here, has anyone tried to defoliate some smaller colas then tie them together will that be beneficial for bigger bud(promote one another) or is it better to leave oxygen to pass through, thanks

The plants are slowly going to flowering stage, the tallest is about 43cm the other 2x35cm and 1x22cm. I have got this “RAW” microbes for the flowering stage but I am not sure if I can or should use it, any advice is appreciated.

Sooo.... The last week was a bit of a pain in the ass. I flushed the plant on day 14 and just gave the plant plain water for the remainder of week 3 in flower. By about day 18 I started to notice that the leaves were getting a little yellow on the top of my mother plant. The LED lights were only 7 inches from the canopy! I hadn't been paying attention to how much the plant had grown and how close it was to the light. I raised the lights so they are 14 inches above the canopy. I thought that would make the color of the leaves return. However, her condition started to get worse. Several of the fan leaves on the top of the plant started to curl up and fold like tacos. I also noticed that some of the top fan leaves were getting copper colored tops and edges. some of the lower leaves under the canopy began to fall off with severe deformities and grey patches. Some research into the matter led me to believe that I had nutrient deficiencies. I knew that I had not fed her nutes in almost a week but I don't think that would lead to the plant's current condition as quickly as it did. I then tested the Ph runoff from the pot and it was incredibly acidic! Almost 5.0! My crap Ph pen had crapped out and was giving erroneous readings. I have since flushed the plant again and properly Ph'd the water. Now I have to wait and see if her condition improves. I hope this doesn't affect the yield too much. Pro Tip: Always calibrate your meters before use!

Light is at its maximum height and could do with being raised another inch or so, going to try and tie the reflector directly to the top of the tent. Stretched more than anticipated lol. Slight tip burn so backed off the nitrogen and added the pk, I think they are a touch too dark green but will rectify during this week. Surprising considering the EC is only 1.4

Right now I'm flushing with my homemade substance, it pushes pretty much clean, planning to harvest next week. Before harvesting I will let these girls sleep for 48 hours, hoping that a purple color will appear. Currently night temperatures are around 19 to 15 degrees.

Fastest growth in a week I've ever seen in any type of grow setup. Very excited to see what the next few weeks of Veg bring on!

January 2 - 8 01/02 A lot of growth in the two days since the last tea 01/03 Topped the smaller one and watered 01/08 Watered & started LST training on the big one smaller one did not need water

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. I’m so excited for the coming weeks and i hope that 4 plants aren’t to much for my little tent. My last autoflowers were not very successful, but I’ve learned from them. For the next few weeks I’ll start with only water (pH around 6.4) and introduce fertiliser very slowly. This time I’m using BioBizz-Products (incl. BioBizz-LightMix) because LightMix is good for autoflowers and I didn't have to buy anything new. I’m not completely sure if defoliation is a good idea, bud maybe I’ve to do it because of the small space. ----- Germination ----- 4 Peat Pellets with 26ml water each. Every 12 hours I’ll spray them with water. Had them in darkness for the first 24 hours. After 72 hours (01/26) 3 out of 4 seeds came to life. After 96 hours (01/27) all 4 seeds were successful and I transferred them to there new BioBizz LightMix home. On day 5 I gave each plant 250ml ph-controlled water. ----- Preparations ----- A few days before starting I’ve dismantled my grow box to give it a deep cleaning. Step 1: cleaning with soap water Step 2: disinfection spray and let it dry With this method I’ve cleaned everything involved. My grow bags (13L - 3 gal) went into the washing machine with disinfectant detergent. 12/13 - Day 71 - Watered with Recharge and Molasses. The girls have started to show signs of light burn. I'll find something shorter to put the smaller two plants on. The big girl is going to have to keep burning until I chop the other two down. Once she's alone in the tent I'll be able to pull the branches down and out in order to create more space between the tops and the light. 12/18 - Day 76 - Got a bigger tent so the ladies could stretch their legs. I fed a slightly stronger dose of nutrients yesterday and its pretty evident it was too much for the plants because slight nutrient burn symptoms have returned. Fan leaf discoloration and a few tips clawing. Will back off for the next few waterings and watch them closely. Flowers are all developing nicely.

2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Driving me nuts Wont need to worry so much over height at that point. Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about. 2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day! Cleaned them all up for their last day in Moya (veg tent) before moving to Enterprise (Flower tent) ... heh Walking nuets up 2/22 in the new digs Both the 600w HID and 150w LED are now in the tent = 750w Everybody is on the Enterprise now. 2/23 white tips back dropping back down to 4ml/gal on the CT 2/25 Cutting back PK to 2ml/gal Pics for Fast Buds on leaf oddity Raised HID a couple of clicks getting some praying leaves underneath it.

So far so good, drinking almost 10 litres every days which is insane. As my Wilma grow diary the humidity is a touch high as I shared the same tent.

DWC stripped to the wood no suckers only AAAA quality buds I’m looking for especially if she’s a leafier bud. It’ll be a challenge keeping her in Veg any longer but still looking at minimum two week before she sees the flower tent. Week 7 Flower, frosty, smells great, she really puts on the weight late flower so it’ll be interesting to see where she stops.
