I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.

She's surprisingly short compared to Selena (Super Auto Lemon Haze) but her buds are turning out to be nice, purple, and covered in trichomes so far. Had to cut down the lights to 12-12 cause one of the other plants turned out to be a photoperiod. Sucks but it definitely saves me the electricity bill. As usual, looking forward to next week!

Doing fine, will be shaping her very soon. Insane to see the difference between these plants. The big bushy one is exactly the same age, just LST-ed her and nothing more.

8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. Hello everyone im still a bit noob on everything even on posting here and staff. ill figure it out in a couple of days hopefully! Lets start by saying that big bang had an issue because ........ i was growing it and i didnt see that my flores was empty and until i received a new it was almost a week had a lot of yellow on the leaves dying and falling out like doing full defoliation on the plant. have no clue if im lucky or something i do right but when i started feeding couple of days i saw signs of buds getting bigger so i continue. now we are at week 13 and from what i have seen from my previous 2 plants bb and king Tut autoflowers will not forgive when u stun them nut they will forgive slow growth or deficiencies and stuff when they are close to maturity at least for my garden. Whatever i did to them and i monitored closely everyday made them move on a slower pace but didnt stop them from being huge the only downtime i saw was more time to be ready for harvest. ill update by the end of the week with pics with the lights out (hps) . The pics are a bit shaky but cant do anything about it atm sorry! Any advice welcome the first red spots in some of the sugar leaves should i start flush? or wait to see on almost every bud?

Week 3 has been fairly good. It started off with my trusty humidifier biting the dust and finding my humidity down to around 35% 😩 So I quickly purchased a replacement, which increased my temperature to 79 degrees but also brought the humidity back up to 73-75%. The first day of higher temperature had a leaf or two get some slight wilting, but the following day they went back to normal and the explosion (explosive sound) started! I also upped the nutes on Monday, bringing my PPM up to just under 600. Gotta say it’s been pretty smooth since then as the girl has reacted positively. I literally topped this morning, although yesterday I wasn’t sure if that 5th node would come out before I posted. Overnight it granted my wish of being big enough to snip! Again, this is my first experience, so although my feelings may be good so far.. I’d love to hear back from you guys about what you see and if I need to change anything or implement any cool stuff. Speaking of cool stuff, I’ll be putting together my top hanging 2 net Scrog this weekend. So wish me BIG luck on getting it right! PS. I forgot to get pics of the roots, but they are long as crap and all white (h2o2 once a week). I’ll include them next week.

7/19 I’ve come upon the realize that I had been under watering to an extreme degree. I have since adjusted accordingly today and hope they look better tomorrow. Did remove some leaves and then found out I really shouldn’t have, hopefully I didn’t stunt them.i believe they are now flowering and next watering I will be adding some tiger bloom at very low strength. the newts I’ve given them have shown tip nute burn often and I have been very minimally watering so my conclusion is my soil was so full of nutes I could have waited until now most likely to start my first feedings. I’ve read about this and w ocean forest this seems to be the trend. Still really happy about the progress. Peace

Hello, friends! The week went well. On December 17, 2023, we switched the light to 12/12, and our girls are enjoying it, consuming a good 2000 ppm every day. I want to share that the clones are doing well too; they are two weeks old. Thanks to everyone for keeping track of our growth and leaving comments; it means a lot to me.

What a great week it’s been!today is day 65 from seed!! One of the Forbiddin Runtz got it’s last feeding on Friday and will get flushed for 2 weeks and will be ready for dry and cure! The rest will still remain getting same dose of nutes the rest of this week and most likely into the next! This batch felt like it went so quick ! Hope you all enjoy an watch out for next week !
