So in the last couple of weeks I tried to make the night time temperature go down enough for them to turn color and they did - the sugar leaves turned a deep bluish green, really nice coloring! I harvested over a 2-day period. Day 1 I hand-plucked the sugar leaves off plants # 1, 2, & 3. Day 2 I hand-plucked plants 4 & 5, trimmed all of them and cut them down whole. I hung them to dry in my closet/former grow room with a boot tray of water with a towel for evaporation. My last grow was a disappointment in the end due to me not realizing how dry it is in the house (here in the living room it's 19% RH due to it being January in Canada and the hot water heating radiators are going full time). When they were dry enough, I did the final trimming, removing all the waste and dividing the buds into 2 classes: Top tier which are the nice tops of the big colas, and 2nd tier, which are the rest. I think I'll learn to make hash with the 223 grams of wet sugar leaves. I'll be adding more to this final entry in the coming days - this has been really tiring! Final numbers for 5 ShishkaBerry plants: Top tier buds (dried not cured) 372g 2nd tier buds (dried not cured) 150g Hand plucked sugar leaves (wet) 223g Waste (Sticks, stems, burnt leaf tips) 128g I'm basing my comments on the taste by the glove-hash I smoked - wow it's really good! I'm looking forward to next month when these buds will be ready to enjoy 😁 I'd like to thank all my new friends here and the other growers that have helped me along the way 😚 Finally, I left you with an outtake video from one of the defoliation sessions 😺 Stay tuned for updates... UPDATE 1: Today I might have made some tincture or something, not sure. I slow-roasted the dried but not cured previously hand plucked sugar leaves and crumbled them up and put them in a mason jar (51 grams 100% dry weight) and added a little bottle of Absolut Vodka (375 ml). I shook the mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes then placed it in a cool area of the house to sit for a few weeks before a first test - not totally sure what I'm doing here). UPDATE 2: Possibly made Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) out of the Alsolut vodka - ShishkaBerry mixture: I strained it so that there was no plant material, reduced it in a double boiler style, not sure what to do with the gooey stuff that's left as a result.

They are diving into the Feedingsolution Its alittle tricky to keep them happy but , I feel it works Flowers are stacking and Leaves are fading alittle everything asign for Final Weeks Those Runtz smell like Heaven I still have alot of Fun with those Grows

Pink Kush Day 21 - 2020.01.21: Hello friends, I'm sorry for being delinquent in commenting on this grow; I got hit by a car last autumn and I'm still struggling a bit with depression and anxiety (hence the weed!). Let me assure you that the Shishkaberry from last year was very helpful 😌 So to begin with I have to thank Barney's Farm for their great genetics. This week I started the regular fertigation schedule for the vegetative period. I'm getting very precise with the measuring of the nutrients, I'm using some industrial syringes for accuracy like Dr. Coco recommends. The TDS is high - I'm working on it. Bio Tabs NL. vs. Weedefix (Stuttgart/ Germany) Hier im Weedefix Grow haben wir nun nach 59 Tagen des Einpflanzens eine Höhe von 110cm erreicht. Blütetag: 14 (BW2) Nach der zweiten Blütewoche, lässt sich eine sehr ähnliche Performance der beiden Düngersysteme beobachten, außer dass bei Weedefix die Blätter nach wie vor eher heller sind. Der Stretch bei dieser Pflanze verläuft sehr homogen und alle Triebe sind im Schnitt 110cm hoch. Es bleibt spannend! Diese Woche, habe ich einmal mit Wasser und 5ml Wachstum (Ferment mit Melasse und Hefeextrakten) gegossen. Ansonsten nur Wasser. Und es zeichnet sich weiterhin ein stärker werdendes Aroma ab. Die Bedingungen im Growschrank sind für den Anfang in Ordnung, auch wenn es aktuell schwül ist! ————— 🌞 Temp: 26 🌚 Temp: 18°C bis 19°C 💨 RH: 64% VPD: 0,78 kPa 💡ppfd: 630 mpm —————

Getting very close to harvest, buds are not monsters but in the time it took them to grow I'm very impressed. I've seen many many other diaries of this strain where they've been flowering for much longer for a smaller plant.

It is what it is. Little flowers coming along I guess.

Sherb Biker, starting to crystal. The purples and dsrker hues should begin to appear soon and these buds will swell very big over the, next little bit. Nothing much to report. Decided after reading some articles about using chlorine/bleach as a sterilizing agent. Going to test it out and compare the final product to one finished about 2 months earlier.

Long time extractor, first time growing (both s/o and myself). Already starting the next grow. This was one plant/pheno in a 4x4 sharing a 600w light @ 75% or less the entire time. Only tracking ONE PLANT this harvest but for reference - we pulled just over a lb dry weight total from all 4. End dry weight - Buds: 104 grams - Sugar Trim - 35 grams End flower rosin - 14.5 grams (1st press) - 1.2 grams (2nd press) [Press 96 grams] ~15% yield (not great but expected from autoflower) Chopped a little earlier than desired (10/70/20 amber/cloudy/clear profile) due to a scare of a nanner. Being new growers, we recently learned we could have plucked the nanner off and let it flower another couple weeks. Dried branches at 65-70f/55-60rh for 7 days then stored in grove bags until pressed in 37u micron bag, ~180f, 2.5min.

She seems to be recovering from the water log roots…after she dries out I will feed her some fish fertilizer…in case this is a nitrogen issue.

Haven't updated due to being really busy , the girls are coming along but have had a huge problem with humidity which has then caused the plants to start getting powder mildew on the leaves, which is not good, I think the tent got to packed with plants , hopefully it doesn't effect the grow to much

Cool strain to grow, if I grew it again it would be in a 5 or 7 gal smart pot. Was hoping the smell woukd be more in your face and it could be better after the cure but as of now it's like a 7/10 what I was hoping for. I had some high humidity at points when I switched tents so maybe that's why. Overall impressive by seedsman I've had good results with their genetics.

To start the week i'm seeing the buds start to swell, i've also had to give a peroxide foliar spray to be sure i'm not going to be ingesting mites... shall see how it goes. ---- sprayed some dilute 3% peroxide mixed 2-1 with water. misted the shit out of it with distilled to get the humidity up afterwards the ladybugs were having a field day on all the water fleeing spider mites. see video

Blueberry Pie is off to a great start. It's 4 days behind the gorilla gas in the tent but catching up. I'm really excited for this one because I love any type of blueberry strains and it's a F1 so it should produce high quality flower. I will be posting timelapse videos throughout the grow and will update as much as possible.
