Mandarin XL auto has just been switched to ph water for her flush week. Her next update will be her harvest. She has a sweet orange smell. Everything is looking good for a harvest. The flower keeps on growing! I am excited for the next days. Today was the first day to use some nutrients in my water. I used Biobizz Grow, Bloom and Top Max like advised from Biobizz for Light Mix. I wonder if I should start to remove some of the bigger leafs… any recommendations from you guys? I am counting like at least 15 branches that are all on the same height… awesome!! What an even canopy. Some of the branches are on one side a bit lower though. Happy new year guys!! I just put in the net. I never used one before, as I only have outdoor experience. I am trying to bend down some of the higher branches with the net. Let’s see if it works out. Plant looked very good. But after I used the nutrients the plant looked a little bit more sad :( … maybe also nutrient lockout, because I have quite a big pot and usually with smaller pots I always watered the plant until the water ran out of it on the bottom.

Plants are doing good so far. Have one runt (short), hopefully she catches up with the others. Day 8 (one week since sprout).

So the flowers are bigger, the smell is really in a sweet direction and the girls have now been defoliated, but unfortunately I think to see male flowers let's see what the time results 😕 dont like Problems 😡

01/05 - Updating this a day early as they won't be 3 weeks old until tomorrow - but tomorrow's pretty busy for me... Gave them both a bucket change... added the Rapid Start to GG's bucket as her roots looked like they could use some (although I STILL think they look like OG has one more week of life to her than GG!) Going to start some LST later on today, a bit of ponytailing perhaps.... I have the feeling these two are going to fill my small tent!! Update: I went back 2 hours after changing their buckets only to find GG screaming in agony (see the pics of her teaching me a lesson)... the pH had shot up to 6.7 and she was NOT a happy camper at all!! Quickly made the adjustment and will check on her every half hour and measure her pH ... she's one sensitive little gal, is GG... Meanwhile, the same thing had happened to OG but, in typical OG fashion, she just yawned and said "Huh?" but I adjusted HER pH as well... good god! Second update 01/05 ... GG's pH was going up slowly again BUT she looked 100% better - her leaves had perked back up, the terrible crisping of them had stopped.. I trimmed off the two really bad leaves as they wouldn't ever regain any ability to help the plant and I did another small adjustment of her pH down again. I've also "ponytailed" her as I've wanted to try this technique and she seemed a good candidate as her cola was definitely going to be dominant. This technique will hopefully allow the side buds to gain more height and the plant will take on more of a bowl shape as opposed to a Christmas tree shape... Should anyone reading this want to try this, you need to know you cannot allow the ponytail to be in place longer than 8 hours a day... Interesting day... very interesting day. 01/06 - Well, the two of them made it through their day yesterday ... OG doesn't show any signs of any stress and GG is doing well although a couple of her leaves still bear the marks of her aversion to high pH levels! She's going to be the one I'm really going to have to baby but that's ok... OG is just a bull - nothing bothers that one! Ponytailing both of them again today... then I'll stop for a week before doing it again. 01/07 - Decided to do a regular bit of LST on GG - she's not as bushy as OG and will take more readily to that kind of training. OG, though, is still going to be ponytailed because she's short, fat and really, really dense. Did a bit of defol on OG yesterday and it's been well received by her - she's doing extremely well! Update... I've just discovered why OG is so much further along than dear GG... I was going back through the logs I keep because I wanted to know when to expect my newest baby's roots might hit the water - and I realized that OG's roots hit the water when she was only 4 days old! FOUR DAYS OLD!!!! That's unheard of... at least in MY experience! GG's roots didn't hit until she was 10 days old (her roots were only peeking out of the netpot at 6 days old) ... so no wonder OG has seemed like she's been about a week older than GG this whole time! That one is a ROCKET!!! Wowsie! 01/08 - Continuing to ponytail OG and LST GG... and both are loving it... responding really well. OG's side bud sites are almost completely catching up to the main cola so I think I'm going to just let it ride for a while. GG is needing more LST every day, keep pulling her over, letting her small bud sites into the light and they're responding well - had I left them alone, they would have been candidates for defoliation at some point - this way, they'll probably develop into good sized buds. 01/10 - The girls are really going to town but I'm having to do some hard LST on OG to try to keep her at a similar height as GG or we're going to have problems with the light distance soon. I may also have to do some defol on her soon - she's just terribly bushy! They're both loving their nutes - GG's is slightly less than OG's - and I'm keeping GG's pH at 6.0 since she doesn't seem to like it any higher than that... 01/11 - So the ponytailing days are over... both are being "normally" LST'd and they're both pretty much the same height which is good. Did some defoliation on OG yesterday - just took the two top fan leaves off since they were so massive they were shading the entire plant... she looks awfully good this morning and I'm super pleased. Starting to look for signs of pre-flower - should be soon!

4/27/2024 Flower Week 10 Day 1- Water Change Day!!!! Still about a week out.. but her grow sister is ready.. I setup the Dry tent, and I have moved everything in the Cannatrol so I have room for 2.2lbs wet in the cannatrol and everything else will be hanging.. I have my AC unit in the tent, I have my Dehumidifier's setup and I have my fans. I have one more fan that will be delivered tomorrow and I needed one more Carbon filter and inline fan and that will be here tomorrow as well. As soon as they get in I will go ahead and check one more time on the Trichomes of her grow sister and as long as she is where I want her to be. My Dry tent temp will be 70 and my RH will be 55. Timber...... One week difference is crazy! The buds are getting dense..some frost sprinkled here and there..and I’m smelling aromas of skunk and quite literally sour skittles..which is my favorite candy…so I was in disbelief when the Runtz was giving off that exact smell! Sweet & Sour mmm!

So much rain and simply no sun this week. But it looks good. The buds coule be more dense but this is the risk of outdoor. The smell is intense, sweet, earty... The hairs are mostly orange but the trichomes do nit look ready at all I will start flushing this week. No more nutirents

This week went pretty well. I ended up attaching a line to each corner of the plant, and tying it off to the pole in corner. This really opened up the plan, and exposed a bunch of lime green that wasn't getting quite enough light. Other than that, I switched to ripening nutrients for these last two weeks or so, and I plan to flush her for five days or so. I am thinking about 2 and a half to 3 weeks until she is ready to come down. Temperatures are getting high again in my region, but I am able to hold about 78 degrees F in the tent, and about 42% RH. Not much to do until harvest time, just wait and hope that piglet continues to fatten up. I hope everyone had a great weekend, stay safe and Blaze On!
